  1. Wal-Mart in Gallatin had a handful of the 150 round boxes yesterday evening.
  2. Seekins is missing the boat by not making a forward assist to match their magazine release and bolt catch, so I'm on the hunt for something similar. Sadly, my Google-fu isn't turning up what I have in mind. I'd like something with a waffle/diamond pattern, as I think that's about as close as I can probably get to the Seekins design. I've found the over-sized teardrop design with the waffle/diamond patterns, but I'm not sure I'll like something that big. I've also found a cap/cover of sorts that is placed over the original forward assist, being held in place with two set screws. If I can't find what I'm looking for, this is probably the option I'll try first. Just thought someone around here may have seen something closer to what I'm looking for.
  3. I could really use a getaway to someplace like that.
  4. It destroyed the rear sight, and damaged the front sight pretty good. It must have landed perfectly upside down. Luckily it didn't really damage the finish. I think I may have seen a tiny stop, but barely noticeable.    It was an expensive lesson. I will make sure to have some sort of case next time.
  5. Naw, just the purple Sig Mosquito I had listed. It's not a too terribly expensive gun, so the cost of replacing the sights is a rather large ding to the bottom line.
  6. Tip of The Day!   As your walking out the door to sell a gun, don't drop in on the concrete and break the sights. It'll cost ya.  :stunned:  :yuck:  :puke:   :sadwave:    :poop:  :panic:   :censored:  :wall:     :dropjaw:  :grouchy:  :(     Man, I am bummed. I guess it could have been worse.
  7. I was just in Clarksville. I knew I could smell somethin' cookin'.
  8. I've done more than my fair share of searching for .300 BLK, and I haven't seen prices anywhere near that price.
  9. I did one of those online TBI background checks on someone, and it turned out to be a complete waste of time and money. I know for a fact this person has a history of arrests, and I knew all of this person's personal information. The report came back that no information was found. Like I said, a waste of time and money.
  10. Yes, nice meeting you there. What do you mean by "parts kit"?
  11. I am guilty of taking extra care with all of my firearms, but I'm not afraid to get a little blood on them. If they get banged up, they get banged up. But I do go out of my way to avoid that from happening, if possible. It's an OCD thing.
  12. As fat as I am, they probably don't make them in my size. I'm sure I could fashion one out of a tarp and a couple truck hoods.
  13. Thank you. Just wanted to make sure.
  14. So it is perfectly legal to a civilian/TN resident to purchase a firearm from a soldier stationed at Ft. Campbell, no matter which side of the border they may be stationed on?
  15. Before I make a purchase, I want to make sure I'm not breaking any laws.  I have the opportunity to buy a gun from someone stationed at Ft. Campbell, near gate 1. From what I understand, part of the base is in TN, and part is in KY. Should this be of any concern?
  16. Well worth the watch. Thanks.
  17. This die set that Gordon suggested is a 2 die set, and if I am understanding correctly, it crimps. http://www.midwayusa.com/product/261325/rcbs-ar-series-small-base-2-die-set-with-taper-crimp-300-aac-blackout-762x35mm
  18. Why do some 300 BLK die sets come with 2, and some with 3.
  19. I think he's closed his business.
  20. I do appreciate the kind gesture, but I'm not a fan of fruity cake.
  21. I know it's freezing. I just watched my dog slide down the stairs on the deck. As if him actually sliding down the stairs wasn't funny enough, once he gained a footing at the bottom, he turned around and looked at the stairs, like WTF?
  22. Congrats! You're ready to rock and roll.
