1. Just checked the Academy website. They are $529. After taxes and background check, you'll be closer to $600. If you can wait a few days, it would be hard to beat Bud's. They offer free shipping. After transfer and background, you should be able to walk away about $100 cheaper.
2. Seems a tad high to me. Buds has them for $450-ish, and Academy has them for just over $500.
3. Found some.   Looking for someone around the Nashville or Springfield areas, if possible. All of the lower parts are being delivered today, but I forgot to order the KNS pins. I'd like to have everything to get the lower finished this weekend, if possible. I'm looking for Gen 2 - Mod 2
4. Because I'm not a fan of the two piece handguards, I'd choose the second one. I don't like the look of the railed gas blocks, but the length shouldn't matter, as long as you buy the correct length handguard. I prefer the low profile gas block, because it's covered by the handguard. This also gives you more handguard options to choose from.
5. There are several rails worth having that don't cost $200 - $300. Check out some of the Yankee Hill offerings. They offer some great products for a much lower than $300. Midwest Industries and Yankee Hill are some of my favorite, for the money. For me, it does sometimes come down to the "look" I am trying to achieve, and that sometimes means spending more money, because the item that fits the bill is produced by one of the more expensive companies. I try to take my time and see if a cheaper option can grow on me. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't.
6. Do you sell such pens? I could possibly be talked into one.
7.
Received my Secret Santa package today. I grabbed it and opened it up while I was waiting to pick my daughter up from school since I was early in line. I was blown away, when I opened it up there was a pair of mossy oak merino socks that are the same ones I wear. There was also a set of Magpul FDE PTS MBUS in there but where it got really good was in reading the letter SS wrote. SS had also placed a bubble wrap envelope in the box and after reading the letter I opened it up. I'll be damn it was a handmade deer antler pen; it's probably the coolest damn gift I could get. Kudos on this one KKing, you're one awesome dude and that is some fabulous work. I carry a montblanc signature pen usually in my bag and it just got replaced. Can't say enough good stuff about it but I was so elated when I saw it I took a picture and shared it with my dad and wife, here it is. Merry Christmas everyone and thanks again KKing!
That pen is a fine piece of workmanship. Congrats.
8. I like the idea of guns in jails. If an inmate starts actin' a fool, pop a cap in his behind. Make them wish they were in North Korea.
9. Yep, that's gonna blow up in your hands. You should give it to me for safe disposal.
10. Thanks to Joe Biden, it was a shotgun, not an AR.

12. Great rail. I have one on mine.
13. Another one selling well below its original selling price. Only 500 made.   http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=381695940   Seems like all of them on Gunbroker have BIN prices that are several-hundred-dollars less than what they originally sold for.
14. Here's a Spirit of America that originally sold for $1800. Only 911 made. Has a BIN price of $1350. Zero bids so far. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.aspx?Item=381314317
15. From what I understand, they take a factory firearm and have someone "decorate" them. Other than the decorations, they should be the same firearm you'd pick up from and gun shop.
16. There appeared to be some "stunts" in this video that wouldn't allow for a mulligan. Balls of steel.
17. My cousin is a machine programmer for the company that's owned by this child's father. He said that there are already at least 5 or 6 multi-million dollar lawsuits in the works. They are suing the child, the parents, and the father's company. Apparently the child was driving a company truck at the time of the accident.
18. Good luck. I think many stores keep it hidden for their favorite customers.
19. Dayum! That was pretty amazing.
20. Thankfully for me, all of my family (with the exception of my daughter) lives at least 500 miles away, so I only have to buy for my daughter and my girlfriend. I got my girlfriend a remote start for her car, and I'm still debating on whether or not my daughter deserves anything.
21. This is what you'll feel like with a new computer.
22.
Well I took the plunge and dropped it off at a machine shop in frankln to machine the corners
You be determined. You're braver than me.
23. Love this guy.
24. Who are you, again?
