1. Too bad the gun didn't "accidentally" discharge a round into the head of the bad guy.
 2. Chances are, if someone is going door-to-door with a sales pitch, whatever they are selling is a rip-off. With the exception of Girl Scout copies, of course.
 3. Not a chance.
 4.   Deleted incorrect info.
 5. Off to a fine start.
 6.
flip through a few hundred of these. http://www.persecution.com/public/newsroom.aspx?clickfrom=bWFpbl9tZW51
I should have been more specific by indicating that I was referring to the United States.
 7.
I dont think it is. We are not burning people at the stake but....
Christians are no more persecuted than those they persecute, unless doing so in the name of religion somehow makes it acceptable.
 8.
It seems Christians are one of the few that don't get to take advantage of that....oh what is it, oh yeah the Freedom of Speech. Seems religious persecution is alive and well.
I hope you just forgot the  symbol, because that is absurd.
 9.
I'm going to have to unsubscribe to this thread! Because my phone haas been going nuts all day and battery life is suffering :) I don't think I've ever seen a thread on here take off and maintain momentum like this one has.
WAIT!!!!! One more thing.....
 10.
Actually, the definition is "anyone who hates or fears homosexuals or treats them badly".
In the most simplistic sense of the word, that would be correct. Homophobe: Pronunciation: ˌhō-mə-ˈfō-bē-ə Function: noun Date: 1969 : irrational fear of, aversion to, or discrimination against homosexuality or homosexuals a·ver·sion (-vûrzhn, -shn) n. 1. A fixed, intense dislike; repugnance: formed an aversion to crowds. 2. The cause or object of such a feeling. 3. The avoidance of a thing, situation, or behavior because it has been associated with an unpleasant or painful stimulus. 4. Obsolete The act of turning away or averting.
 11.
You'll notice that I have not claimed that anyone has been banned for expressing their opinion about this. It would be appreciated, however, if the issue could be discussed in the future without accusations of homophobia. I notice that no one here has called Phil a "homophobe", even though he has expressed the same opinion as some of us, and yet we've been labeled as such. Guess Phil gets a level of respect that the rest of us don't. The double standard still exists. Just pointing it out, that's all.
I suspect many who are crying about being labeled - directly or indirectly - as homophobic aren't aware of the definition of the word. If you have an aversion to homosexuals an/or their so-called "lifestyle", you would be classified as being homophobic. Being labeled doesn't always give the labeled a warm and fuzzy feeling.
 12.
Looks like you created a little uprising there, TDR
Just trying to take some heat off of the gays. If it wasn't for the amazing Polynesian sauce, I don't find their food to be all that spectacular. I have been known to stop in for a chicken sandwich, just so I can get some of that sauce.
 13.
DD is a terrible show. They maybe good people, but DD is not good TV. I think a lot of Christians feel the need to support DD because they are preachy. Kinda like some Christian rock bands. Just b/c they mention the lord doesn't mean its quality entertainment...
And like Chick-fil-A serves good food.
 14.
Not picking on you Robert, but can only quote one post on my phone. I keep seeing this phrase though. Could someone please tell me what the "homosexual lifestyle" is?
You know, promiscuity, Lady Gaga, and leather assless chaps.
 15. I've been very happy with mine.
 16. Same problem here.
 17. After reading several articles on this subject, I believe this is little more than a publicity stunt pulled by A&E. The show has been on long enough, so the views of the cast can't possibly come as a surprise. I haven't watched the show, but I'm still well aware of their religious beliefs. I could be wrong, but I have a feeling, the show will go on.
 18. I don't share is views, but I don't think he should lose his job for voicing them.
 19.
Hell I already knew that. He's also a great guy to be friends with. that's why I hate to see some of the #### that goes along with these threads.
I agree. I've even somehow managed to escape his grasp each time, without a lisp or a love for show tunes.
 20.
Well hell, you learn something new every day.
I guess my intuition is better than I thought. Although, I have had the pleasure of meeting him a few times.
 21. Sadly, the occupancy rates are at record lows in most areas, which means increased monthly rental rates. Happy hunting.
 22. I hope there comes a day when being a homosexual is a non-issue. Unfortunately, for those who prefer they stay in the closet, it will require more and more homosexuals coming out. And not only the well-known.
 23. George Zimmerman has found a new outlet for his emotions ... NOT involving a gun. Now he's brandishing a paintbrush ... and he stands to make a bloody FORTUNE. Zimmerman is selling a signed painting on eBay ... and get this -- the high bid thus far ... $110,100. So far ... 108 bids and counting. The painting features a portion of an American flag -- painted in shades of black and white -- with the words, "GOD -- ONE NATION with LIBERTY and JUSTICE FOR ALL." It's signed George Zimmerman. GZ says it's his very first artistic work, adding, "[it] allows me to reflect, providing a therapeutic outlet and allows me to remain indoors :-)" Zimmerman could benefit from an art class or two. He says he didn't use oils or acrylics. He used regular old household latex paint. "I know it's not the fanciest, but it is what we had." 24. Kinda-sorta. But the Noveske Switchblock can't be hidden under the rail, as far as I know.
