1. I got the following tool chest. I looked at some of the cheaper Craftsman options, and this is far superior. It's actually a great chest for the money. I got it on sale, but I'd say it's still worth the full price. http://m.harborfreight.com/26-in-8-drawer-roller-cabinet-with-8-drawer-top-chest-67831.html
2. There is a Kentucky Gun Owners forum, but it looks pretty dead. A simple Google search didn't turn up too much.
3. The people have underestimated the amount of power which they have relinquished to the government, Democrats and Republicans alike.
4. I think you'll find no shortage of hospitals in Knoxville, Nashville, and I am somewhat assuming Memphis. I think there are more hospitals than churches in the metro Nashville area.
5.
Any first hand comments about Crossville? While I see that it has a lot of golf courses which I could care less about it does appear to be an interesting town with lots of water features etc...
I am quite familiar with the Cookeville and Crossville areas. While not my cup of tea, they (especially Cookeville) are centrally located between Nashville, Knoxville and Chattanooga. It's less than a 2 hour drive to any of the three. This is great if you're looking for a short weekend getaway, or even if the wife wants to spend some time shopping for the day. While I'm not a fan of the "big city" life, I prefer to be within a 30-45 minute drive to downtown Nashville. The great thing about much of Tennessee, is the fact that you don't have to travel too far from any metropolitan city to find a rural-type setting.
6. I'm a little confused. Are you looking for sights or some sort of optic/scope? Are you looking for something with magnification?
7. I'm going to request a better photograph. More light and larger. Thank you for your cooperation.
8. Very nice finds. I've seen some nice firearms at estate sales, but someone always has much deeper pockets than I do.
9. I can only speak for the Nashville and surrounding areas. I really like Hendersonville.    Your taste may be different, but some places to look at would be:   Hendersonville Mt. Juliet Franklin Brentwood.   Franklin and Brentwood are two of the pricier options, but all will have most of the stores and restaurants you're likely accustom to.    I also like White House. It's just a few miles north of Hendersonville, but the setting is a bit more relaxing. You'll have a Wal-Mart, Kroger, and a few dining options. if you're like me, you'll find yourself traveling from White House to Hendersonville (assuming you live in White House) for a Lowe's, Home Depot, better dining and entertainment. Plus, I may be able to help you become a member at Gallatin Gun Club.    As you probably already know, the best thing to do is gather as much information as you can, then come on down for a visit. Take a few days to get a look of the areas in person, and I'm sure you'll find something very suitable for your needs.
10.
How much were they?
$369 with a free $100 gift card. So $269.
11. Yep, I'm staying home, too. I probably won't even drink. Happy New Year!
12. Out of stock.
13. What he said. That is a great deal, especially with the free $100 gift card.
14. I am very sorry, Gordon. It truly hurts to imagine what you are going through. I dread the day I find myself in your shoes. You, the missus, Ernie will be in our thoughts. If there's anything we can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
15. Mmmmmmm...... Smoked duck sounds good right about now.
16. When we had it, the phone service worked great. If you lose Internet service, you also lose your phone service. We decided to stick with cell phones only.
17.
I think TDR meant the notice that he's folding, not the junk about you. I mentioned it in some thread myself at least a month ago myself (that he was closing). - OS
Yes, that's what I mean. I should have been clearer.
18. He posted that message to his website about a month or so ago.
19. There's zero doubt of his intent. I questioned the legality of such a transaction, and he responded that as long as he wasn't selling to a felon, it was perfectly legal. There hasn't been an indication that he's a licensed dealer, but I guess that's always a possibility. I have inquired about that.
20. It appears to me that this person would be exchanging money for the rifles. Whether or not any profit would be involved, I couldn't say. I'm not sure what benefits there are to buying a crate of them. Maybe there's a steep discount? Maybe he just wants a free crate?
21. I saw someone on another forum advertising the desire to buy a crate of Mosin's if he could get enough interest from other folks. Can someone legally buy a crate of Mosin's, with the intent to immediately distribute them? This is assuming the person buying the crate is not a licensed dealer.
22. TGO has been gayjacked.
23. We have a TGO member who owns an electronic cigarette company in the Nashville area. I'm not sure if he wants to be outed, but maybe he will chime in when/if he comes across this thread.
