I picked up 1200 rounds of 9mm Perfecta in 50-round boxes, and it was anything but perfecta. I grabbed four random boxes and took 'em to the range with a Gen 4 G19 and G26. Both guns are stock, including the magazines. Both were used by multiple shooters. Both experienced multiple FTF's and FTE's. I didn't keep count, but I'm confident the failure rate was between 50% - 75%. I was too annoyed after 150 rounds, so we didn't try the last box. There were zero malfunctions when using CorBon DPX ammunition. I also took 200 rounds of .308 Perfecta, and it ran flawlessly in a PTR 91. Anyway, I've got a call into TulAmmo, who I believe is the distributor for Perfecta, and also handles their customer service issues. This is my first real negative ammo experience, so I'm not sure how they are usually handled. If I had a box or two left, I probably wouldn't waste my time complaining. But over 1000 rounds is complaint-worthy in my book.

Man, I'm sorry to hear of this outcome. You and your family will be in our thoughts. If you need anything at all, please don't hesitate to ask.

I was going to buy these for mounting a scope on my Ruger 10/22 Takedown. Can I use these with the weaver rail supplied by Ruger? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B004HIHQLM/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?qid=1461368304&sr=8-1&pi=SX200_QL40&keywords=Utg+1%22+scope+rings+quick+detach+medium&dpPl=1&dpID=41XCX%2BFV2YL&ref=plSrch Or, do I need to also buy one of these picatinny rails? http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B002GNYCJ4/ref=pd_aw_fbt_200_img_2?ie=UTF8&refRID=1HDXM7W7CFSSN8S9GEZJ Thank you in advance.

Which scope are you using for your Ruger 10/22 Takedown? I'm looking for options that will allow the scope to stay mounted while in the case. I've been looking hard at the Nikon P-22 / P-Rimfire 2-7x32 Matte BDC 150, but I haven't made up my mind.

I just wish the .308 AR parts were as interchangeable as the AR15.

The link takes me to their homepage. What gun did you buy? Either way, you are right; they are wrong.

Never held one, but it looks like it has some options that you generally don't see on a basic 1911.

After 25 years with the perfect woman...

Congratulations to both of you! -
There are no federal laws that say you cannot carry a firearm in a commercial vehicle. You just have to make sure that you follow the laws within each jurisdiction said commercial vehicle will traveling. I have legally carried in a commercial vehicle every day for several years, unless I know I'll be delivering to Ft. Campbell, where I know I'm prohibited from carrying a firearm.

Help me choose budget-friendly optics
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Firearms Gear and Accessories
Mine just arrived from PSA. The "Bushnell" is a gold/yellow color, not white. The dot comes from the 4 o'clock position. On settings 9-11 there's a fairly significant red ring around the edge if the glass. The further away my eye is from the optic, the worse it gets. It may not be as noticeable in in the sunlight, but I'll have to test that tomorrow. -
Gauging Interest - TGO Logo Stainless Steel Tumbler
TripleDigitRide replied to TGO David's topic in General Chat
I wasn't sure about all the hype regarding these type of cups, but after picking up a RTIC 30 Tumbler for $25 (with splash-proof lid), I am sold. I couldn't believe how long my coffee stayed scolding hot. Almost too long, really. Now I'll have to make my morning coffee a little earlier in the morning and leave the lid off so it can cool a bit before I leave for work. The old "insulated" cup I was using would allow the coffee to become lukewarm within 30 minutes or less. Not this bad boy. No matter how long it will keep cold drinks cold, I don't think I'd care to drink anything that's had ice sitting it in for several hours. However, if I fill this cup with Crystal Light before bed, it definitely seems to be much cooler in the morning, compared to the old cup I was using. I'm definitely sold on the type of cups. -

I've never used a TRS, do I'll have the luxury of not being able to compare the two. Plus, I'm trying to keep expectations at a $70 level. -
I've recently built a few AR's and picked up a fair amount of ammo, and I haven't had any trouble getting what I want. As others have said, tax return season is always busy.

Great! Just my luck. I'll give it a shot, but those reviews don't make it sound very promising. -
Yep. I noticed another one recently joined TGO and immediately began advertising. If one gets away with it, other's will feel they can do the same.

Wow! That's great customer service!

It appears that Magpul hasn't put out a AFG for a keymod rail, so I'm wondering what you folks are using. I was hoping for something that's simple, functional, light AND relatively inexpensive.

Damn! I'm very sorry for your loss. It sounds like Axl was blessed with amazing parents. You and your wife will be in our thoughts. -
Wow! Glad you and the camper weren't injured. That's the first time I've heard of something like that happening.
