Yes, the XD(M) feels great. The cheapest price I could find is $660/out the door, for the stainless slide version, over at Bellshire's, but you'll have to be willing to wait until he gets some in. I know Hero Gear has at least one in stock, as of this afternoon anyway. Persoanlly, I'm willing to wait for the $100 savings. I'd suggest calling around. Best of luck.

I attended the festival the very first year. Then, it was called "Itchycoo", and it was a blast. Now that they've implemented so many rules, and the cost of tickets have quadrupled, I'm gonna have to pass. On top of that, I was a bit younger. I'm not sure I can handle drinking, 24/7, for four days straight. Our tickets were free, but I somehow managed to spend nearly $500 in that four day period.

I'm 32 Yes, I was born after 1969, so I'm required to take one. This makes perfect sense, because anyone born before 1969 was automatically born with hunting know how.

Nope, never been hunting, period. I'd like to go sometime, but don't have any hunting rifles/shotguns, nor do I have any clue where to hunt. This reminds me of a question I've been meaning to ask. I know you're required to take a Hunters Safety Course in order to go hunting. I took such a class in Illinois, but it was roughly 20 years ago, and I have no papers showing I took the course. Do you think there is any chance of getting the State of Illinois to send me some papers showing that I indeed took and passed the course, or would I have to take it again?

I'm still trying to understand how there can be so many different religions, with so many different "God's", yet all are convinced that their religion is the "right" religion. Could any "God" really sentence someone to hell, simply because they're confused?

For those who've been interested in the progress of our charity ride, here's a little update. We've got most, if not all of the legal matters situated. My father has been in contact with St. Judes Children Hospital and National Center for Missing & Exploited Children, and they sent us some information regarding their guidelines for raising money on their behalf. The guidelines should be very easy to follow. We are also proud to announce that Road Runner Motorcycle Touring & Travel will be doing a story about our great adventure. On top of that, 'Lamar' (billboard company) will be donating billboards for the cause. As of now, the billboards will be in the Tulsa Oklahoma area. Once we get more details, we will be talking with the Lamar office for the Nashville area as well. So, things are staring to come together. We're still in the very beginning stages of the adventure, but we're hopeful we can pull it off.

He has that perfect English Bulldog look. That's one reason I've held off on buying one. I've seen some real ugly ones, and I'd hate to get stuck with one of those. I know what you mean, but it had to be done in order to make it so you didn't need to pull the trigger while removing the slide. That doesn;t make much sense either, I know.
