  1. I've debated with myself for the last wekk or so, and I decided to go with the XD(M). It will be in my hands, no later than Friday. I', not sure how many of the bi-tones he ordered, but is supplier had about 30 on hand.
  2. Well, I'm not sure Sig makes a bad firearm. They've always been highly regarded as one of the very best.
  3. The only time I waited that long was when they came up with this bright idea to give the illegal Mexicans a drivers license.
  4. Well, how much did you pay for it?
  5. Because it's not against the law.
  6. Because they are waiting for you to set them straight.
  7. How long before he was pulled over did he finish the doobie and beer?
  8. That's exactly what they did, today. Her insurance company contacted his, and he had a whole new tune.
  9. A friend of mine did something similar, up in Northern Illinois. He didn't invest very much money. I'd say less than $500. He used mostly scrap that he picked up at different places. He has an area for a couple 50 yard ranges, one 100 yard, and a small area for pistol shooting. On the other hand, he didn't have to build a berm. The natural layout of the land was perfect. Building a berm isn't isn;t gonna be an easy task, unless you, or someone you know has access to some type of tractor/machinery to move the earth around. Best of luck, and let us know when you're ready to invite us for the inaugural Bar-B-Q and shoot'em up fest.
  10. Yes. "subject to the laws of the State in which the firearm is carried concerning specific types of locations in which firearms may not be carried."
  11. It means anyone with a HCP can carry in any state.
  12. I can't think of any reason why it wouldn't be a good idea. But, I'm sure someone will come along and set me striaght.
  13. This would be a question for our resident "I'm here to make sure your building is properly posted" guy, Voldemort. He'll be along soon.
  14. Thanks for taking the time to make that. I'll pass it on to my father, and see what he thinks. I'm still not sure what kind of look he's really after, but you did a very nice job. Thanks again.
  15. I've only had the luxury of meeting his family 1 time, and that was at the wedding. Thankfully, they were on their best behavior. It was quite evident that they were slightly on the redneck(ish) side, but living in Tennessee, it's become more than commonplace. Not that all rednecks are bad, just the ones with the ghetto mixed in.
  16. Now there's a stupid question. Everyone knows it's through the secret door in the back of the ammo closet.
  17. I'm a real fan of the XD's. For me, they are perfect. I'm sure you'll enjoy it. Congrats.
  18. Just remember--No question is a stupid question.
  19. Nothing in Madison is safe, nothing. The park in question is a well-known hangout for the homosexuals. That's a fact.
  20. I'm confident that this law doesn't exist, but other can;t seem to be swayed. I was talking to one of our drivers, and he swears that when he went through Schneider's driving school 15 years ago, they told him it was against the law.
  21. My email is xd40owner@comcast.net
  22. That would be fine with me, cause I'll just buy me a Glcok. Everyone knows they can make it through metal detectors.
  23. The owner on the vehicle suggested they take his vehicle instead of their own. They did check with the insurance companies, and the vehicle owners insurance would begin the process if an accident was to occur, and the actual drivers insurance would cover anything the owners insurance wouldn't pay for. The owner and driver knew how it was supposed to work. The problem is, now that an accident actually occured, the owner doesn't want his insurace company to be contacted. Again, his insurance would need to start the process, and then the drivers insurance would handle it from there.
  24. :P;)
