  1. Nice. I wish I would have known about that. That's a killer deal.
  2. My thoughs, exactly. SA throws in the allen wrench for adjusting the gear, so I assumed they would have done the same for the backstrap pin. I don;t have a punch set, so I'm trying to find out if anyone knows the correct size needed. The XD(M) manual says to use the "correct" punch, but never mentions what the "correct" punch is.
  3. You'll likely need the correct sized punch, just like I'll need with the XD(M). I tried a small screwdriver, but that pin wasn't moving. I tapped pretty darn hard, and it still wasn't moving. I gave up until I get the correct punch.
  4. Thanks for the word of caution, Tungsten. I did think about that, but I thought a "straw purchase" was buying a firearm for someone who was not legally allowed to own a gun. That not being the case, I didn't see an issue. How long would you suggest I hold on to it before a possible trade? Thanks again.
  5. WWB Hollow Point. I'f I can't stop and/or kill someone with those, I probably shouldn't be carrying a firearm.
  6. Do they ever get the weapons back?
  7. LMAO! Shux....That was the first thing that came to mind. It could be worse. It that's the worst thing she does, you'll be alright.
  8. Not having the chance to shoot it, it's somewhat difficult to tell. Simply dry firing it, it does seem improved. I can tell there is less travel, and much crisper.
  9. Not that I really want to, but one never knows what may come along.
  10. +1 Great guy and movie. kwikipoo, not so much.
  11. LOL..Yep, that's me.
  12. Welcome to my thread. If you can't participate nicely, stay the hell out. Thank you for your cooperation.
  13. Anyone interested in trading something for it?
  14. Hmmmm....Am I gonna have to trade my new XD(M) for an AR?
  15. These moronic politicianscans posture about with all their wonderful intentions, but actually being able to follow through is another story. You must not forget, they are still in the 'Tell Them What They Want To Hear' mode. If they believe they can pull in a large segment of the voters while pandering the the anti-gun crowd, they will do it. Tomorrow they will attempt to pull us in while using some other BS tactics. It's all about attempting to make everyone happy enough to squeeze out one more vote. Both candidates are at least somewhat anti-gun, but I think it's safe to say that McCain isn't nearly the gun hater as Obama. Even if they want to pass the law, that doesn't mean everyone else will follow.
  16. I guess some LEO's are rakin' in the jack.
  17. I'm glad everything turned out alright. I bet your "Honey-bunnie" was/is quite alarmed at the whole situation. A warning shot to the head wasn't an option?
  18. Instead os selling the rifle, can't you just let someone "borrow" it for a very very very very very very very very very long time? Maybe a "rental" fee?
  19. Very true. The only problem I'm having is, who is more ridiculous, Voldemort or the ones who feel the need to argue with him?
  20. Country Boy Can Survive.
  21. I know. Even being the damn yankee that I am, I would listen to that song over and over and over again as a youngin'.
  22. Stickin' with db99wj's theme....... My favorite line of the song.... "He was killed by a man with a switchblade knife For 43 dollars my friend lost his life Id love to spit some beechnut in that dudes eyes And shoot him with my old 45" [ame] [/ame]
  23. Very nice selections, folks. [ame] [/ame]
  24. I'm slightly disappointed in the fact that they didn't bother throwing in a cheap tool to remove the backstrap pin. Cheap SOB's.
