Just got back from the show. I left with the feeling that the RK show just may be better than the Pope and Goodman shows. I'm not sure if it was the layout, but it seemed much more crowded as well.

Congrats! It's amazing how a gun dealer can run a BG check in a matter of minutes, yet it takes the DOS several months. Even with the number of permits, there is no excuse for the amount of time they seem to be taking these days.

The Pope show was higher than the Bill Goodman show. After leaving the Pope show, I stopped by the Goodman show, and it was $7. That's a little easier to swallow.

By the way, I just got done watching Animal Cops in South Africa. I saw what kind of damage a dog could do to a horse. I was beyond shocked. That single dog mutilated the belly of the horse. If a dog was to attack at me this very moment, I'd likely be very trigger happy.

At the point I feel threatened. If my daughter was walking with me, it wouldn't take very long.

The best advice anyone can give you is, get rid of both of pistols, and get something of quality. That's no joke. Those things are dirty cheap for a reason, and it's not their craftsmanship. As a fellow Tenneessean, TGO member, gun owner, HCP holder and human being, please think twice about using either of them as a carry/self defense weapon.

I was under the impression that the Government was supposed to destroy the records after 48-72 hours, and the gun store keeps records for life. I could be wrong.
