  1. A few burnouts will take care of the weeds.
  2. I've noticed some people are saying the uppers and lowers are stamped "T" and "F". What does that mean?
  3. I looked at those, but I'm kinda set on a smooth hand guard. The Ace stock is also a must. If things get too dificult, I may go with something like that.
  4. Same here. I think 5.56 is the way I'd like to go.
  5. We are blessed in the USA Ooops! Wrong thread. HAPPY 4TH OF JULY !!!
  6. Got the munchies?
  7. WOW! You make it sound so simple. That's what I'm worried about when ordering via the net. I don;t want to order the wrong thing, or realize it doesn't come with all the parts I was "thinking" it was supposed to come with.
  8. A good friend of mine just purchased the Boulevard M109R2. A bit steep at nearly $13,000, but that thing is bad to the bone. Enjoy and ride safe!
  9. What about triggers? any real benefit to a 2 stage?
  10. Well, I don't think I need a bull barrel. I could probably save a few bucks by staying away from a bull barrel.
  11. Midway has this (backorder) on that I like pretty well. If I were to buy something like this, do I just need the lower and stock? It will be ready? Can you put a flash hider on something like this? http://www.midwayusa.com/eproductpage.exe/showproduct?saleitemid=496810&t=11082005
  12. No, not yet. I've created a thread dedicated to the process. It's filled with more questions than anything. Everyone has been very helpful. I plan on taking Rightwinger up on his offer to show me the ropes. Weather permitting, Saturday is the day. I have a pretty good idea what type of AR I'm after, but I still need to know a few more things before I start ordering. I did check out Del-Ton, but they don't seem to offer the type of upper I'm looking for. Heck, I may change my mind once I get to shoot Rightwinger's rifle. Never shooting one before, I'm only going by what "looks" good to me.
  13. Damn! If I had no budget, this would be so much easier.
  14. Very nice, Brandon. Happy to hear all is well with your new AR.
  15. And what about the barrel-- Chrome lined or not?
  16. I notice that some rifles say 5.56, some say .223 remington, and some say .223 Wylde. Are these the same thing? Both .223 and 5.56 ammo can be used? Does it really matter?
  17. Thanks for all the help, everyone.
  18. What's the difference between Pre and Post-Ban lower? Want pre-Ban there , too?
  19. I saw that, but it has a permanent handle. Thanks.
  20. What do you mean by "neutered"?
  21. What's the difference between Pre and Post-Ban barrel assemblies?
  22. After spending more time on some other forums, I've realized how bad most of them suck. TGO seems so much more personal, and it's full of great local folks. I'm just thankful for this site, and everyone who puts out the effort to keep it going.
  23. Thanks for all you do! Keep up the amazing work!
  24. You'll never go wrong with an XD. Very nice choice. Congrats and Enjoy!
