  1. That won't happen. That's why Tony decided to put together 'Stewart-Haas Racing'. Tony is tired of leaving it up to everyone else. This way, as the car owner and driver, he's the boss all the way around. I guess we'll see what happens in '09.
  2. You'll likely get several different answers. Here is some helpful info. http://www.firearmstactical.com/ammo_data/380acp.htm
  3. If the sign says "no weapons", I'd venture to guess they don't want you carrying a firearm inside.
  4. Yes, but if you notice, the fully supported chamber (that Glock doesn't have) generally prevents the gun from blowing up into a million pieces, like the Glock. Damn, we've really !
  5. Thank you. I'm currently a member on that forum. TONS of imformation. PAIN IN THE A$$ to weed through all of it. We have some very knowledgable AR folks here.
  6. Yes, that's true. I was just trying to come up with something a bit newer. I don't believe any 9mm revolvers are being produced today, so finding one may not be as easy as more popular calibers.
  7. I just did a quick search on budsgunshop.com, and the Taurus 905 is all that came up. http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/advanced_cat_search.php?cated=26&manufacturers_id=&ITATR_list%5B1%5D=1902&ITATR_list%5B2%5D=&ITATR_list%5B3%5D=425&ITATR_list%5B4%5D=&ITATR_list%5B5%5D=&ITATR_list%5B6%5D=&ITATR_list%5B7%5D=&ITATR_list%5B8%5D=&ITATR_list%5B9%5D=&ITATR_list%5B0%5D=
  8. The S&W 940 was discontinued. There are not many choices for a 9mm revolver. The Taurus is the only one I can think of that currently being sold by a few places. I would double check, because I could be wrong.
  9. Taurus 905
  10. Not only that, but we were told to expect the TGO 75% off dicount. Welcome to TGO. Enjoy your stay.
  11. Howdy Frank! Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  12. +1 End of Story!
  13. I'm still trying to understand why the optic mounts are so expensive. As far as optics go, I've been looking at the EOTech 557.AR223 and 3X.FXD. I honestly haven't put a huge amount of thought into the optics, yet. But these are at the top of my list so far.
  14. Bottom line.......You can fit more hot chicks in the Jeep. End of story!
  15. I'm trying to pretend that I won't have to worry about optics. As you know, they are crazy expensive. Like you, I'll likely settle with BUIS for quite some time. I don't think I'll have anywhere near your $2,500 mark, but it's definitely more that I had planned for at the beginning of the build. I can't act surprised, because I had a pretty good idea this is how it would turn out. In the end, my AR is going to be fairly basic. I still have no plans for all the fancy rails and gadgets hagning off it, but what I will have is a failry good quality rifle. I hope so anyway. It's obvious there will be bigger and better, but for a first build, I'm more than happy so far.
  16. I've used many many types of ammo in my XD's, and have yet to have an issue. On the other hand, I can't say I've tried the Winchester Ranger. At least I don't think I have. I always polish the feed ramp, on all my pistols. I honestly have no clue how much, if any, that it really helps, but it makes me feel better. I use the same green Jewelers Rouge that I polish everything else with. That, and a Dremel.
  17. GO with the Jeep. You know how those () LEO's drive their patrol cars. That 89K miles is more like 289K after they get done with them.
  18. It better be solid. Hell, I think I could have bought an entire "El Cheapo" model for what I'm gonna have in just the lower section. But when it's done, I'll have exactly what I want. Well, until I actually get it put together, only to realize I want something else.
  19. Thanks guys. I've already placed the order for a RRA LPK, RRA 2 Stage Trigger Group, Ergo "SureGrip" Pistol Grip Kit and RRA Winter Trigger Guard or Magpul Enhanced Trigger Guard. Of course I also had to order the Buffer Tube, Buffer and Buffer Spring. That's just gonna have to do for now. I'll build up from there. I'm sure I forgot something.
  20. Make it back safely. I'm workin' on this AR we're gonna have to shoot.
  21. Does the LPK come with a single stage trigger, or no trigger? Sorry, but I'm confused.
  22. When ordering from RRA (or anyone), does the LPK come seperate from the 2 stage trigger group? Or, would I have to order the LPK, then order the 2 stage trigger group?
  23. Anyone who attended the show notice the shooting group/club that had the 2 ultra-crazy looking rifles on the table? I think one was called the "Space Gun". Anyone recall the name of that group?
  24. I know AAFB has held shooting events for politicians, but I've never heard anything about us "Regular Joe's" having access to the range. That being said, I'm not sure the politicians had access to the 1000 yarder.
