  1. That's kinda what I was thinking. 27.XXX so far.
  2. Does anyone know if this is really a test the Air Force uses? I've made is close to 24 seconds. It's hard for me to beieve someone could make it 2 minutes.
  3. Hey Pops: I saw a couple booths with rifle cases (including one of our site vendors, TPS-TNRobocop), but non were very "discreet". All of them had some type of pouches on the outside of the case. And 36" was the shortest I was able to find. TPS-TNRobocop has cases with the removable pouches. I would shoot him a PM. There's a good chance he can order what you're looking for. Also, if you're interested in getting ripped off on a new Ruger LCP, a show vendor had a brand new one for the ridiculously high price of $430 + tax/tics. If you want one bad enough, it's there.
  4. I'm not sure if this is a real Air Force test, but it somewhat addictive. The object of the game is to move the red block around Without getting hit by the blue blocks or touching the black walls. If you can go longer than 18 seconds you are phenomenal. It's been Said that the US Air Force uses this for fighter pilots. They are Expected to go for at least 2 minutes. Give it a try but be careful...it is addictive!! Air Force Test
  5. I'm heading out there in just a bit. I'll take a look for ya.
  6. I'm only going, because TPS-TNRobocop has a booth and some PMAG's with my name on them.
  7. The tension is automaitcally adjusted by the self adjuster on the pedal release. Looking from the backside of the hub, you will see an oval shaped rubber plug. Remove the plug and look in with a flashlight. You will see the adjuster wheel. They adjust the same way as drum brakes, only they can be harder to do, because they are in there pretty far and hard to see. You will probably have to use a small screwdriver instead of a brake spoon to adjsut them. This is a direct copy/paste from the service manual--- The park brake cables on this vehicle have an automatic self adjuster built into the park brake pedal mechanism. When the foot operated park brake pedal is in its released (upward most) position, a clock spring automatically adjusts the park brake cables. The park brake cables are adjusted (tensioned) just enough to remove all the slack from the cables. The automatic adjuster system will not over adjust the cables causing rear brake drag. Due to the automatic adjust feature of the park brake pedal, adjustment of the parking brake cables on these vehicles relies on proper drum brake (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL/BRAKE PADS/SHOES - ADJUSTMENTS) or park brake shoe (Refer to 5 - BRAKES/PARKING BRAKE/SHOES - ADJUSTMENTS) adjustment. When the park brake pedal is applied the self adjuster is by-passed and the pedal operates normally to engage the park brakes. When a service procedure needs to be performed on the park brake pedal or the park brake cables, the automatic self adjuster can be manually locked out by the service technician.
  8. I took a few minutes to read the Wikipedia page for A&F. It was very interesting.
  9. Yea, but your build is way tacticooler than mine. I doubt you'll be much impressed with mine.
  10. I think all ST lowers have the full-auto markings, but they are only markings. The switch will not actually rotate into the full-auto position.
  11. Congrats. They look nice. I remember your initial post about the grips. I'm happy to hear the transaction went smoothly.
  12. That's interesting. All this time I thought Abercrombie and Fitch was nothing more than a clothing company for the highfalutin.
  13. OOOOooooooooooh, that trigger!:-\ Kimber should have known better than that. Congrats on the purchase.
  14. I can't get myself to do that much. I do miss the food, though. I just can't seem find too much Chicago-style food around here.
  15. Illinoise. There isn't too much about that state that I do like. I couldn't wait to get out of there 13 years ago, and I have little (if any) interest in going back.
  16. Hey, you never know when this guy will jump out at ya while ridin' the Dragon.
  17. I like the 7.0, but because I opted for the low-profile gas block, I was forced to go with the 9.0. It was a tradeoff, but worth it, IMHO.
  18. The are two differences. Neither are all that spectacular, IMHO. Well, #2 is kinda nice. 1) Looks. The BDL is a little better looking. 2) The BDL has a hinged floor plate. With an ADL, if you want to remove the ammo, you'll need to work the bolt for each round. With the BDL, you simply work the bolt for the first round and remove the magazine.
  19. That's starting off very nice, Tungy! Looks like we're in the same position. I'm still waiting for the mate to go along with my lower half. Congrats!
  20. +1/2 I would have given that statement a full "+1", but the word "Glock" was mentioned. Substitute "Glock" for an XD and you'll get my approval.
  21. In the near future, I will be getting my 9 year old daughter a Cricket .22. They are small and cheap. A friend of mine purchased one for his son, and several thousand rounds later, it's still going strong. As of now, she's very excited about shooting with me, but I'm not sure the enthusiasm will continue, so I'm going the cheap route.
  22. OUCH! I'm not a Glock fan, but that's kinda sad. This is not something I want to attempt myself. That's why I'm looking for a professional.
