  1. Thanks guys. She still looks a bit naked without the sights and rail covers, but that will have to do for right now.
  2. Thanks! I know what you mean. I had to force myself to stay away from everything else until I got it done. It's still going to be a while before I can make any other big purchases. I guess I need to make it to the next TGO meet.
  3. Well, I'm now about 95% complete. I still need to get some flip-up front/rear sights and some ladder-style rail covers. I have to give another big THANKS to Joe at Hero Gear. He and Dan went way above and beyond the call of duty for me. Without going into details, they really did a few things that they didn't have to. For that I am thankful. It's been a great help. Top notch customer service! Here are some crappy pictures of the very-close-to-final product looks like.

    low shots

No problem. I actually forgot to post the link. It's there now. http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html
  5. You can't blame them--God made them do it.

    low shots

Go to this link ( http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html ), look for the targets that look like the ones posted below, print off a handfull, and use them at your next range session. They worked very well for me. Note: One is for left handed shooters, and the other is for right handed shooter.
  7. At what point does she begin to fear for her own life? She's attempted to do the right thing, one at least three seperate occasions, by having him arrested. The police and court system are supposed to help protect us. When they fail, there is only one solution. Three strikes.........You're out!
  8. All that money and it doesn't hit the middle of the target? Nice sidearm.
  9. I don't know if it will fit well in your hands, but I have to say XD. Mine has been great.
  10. OK, I had a chance to go through this monster of a package from the BATFE. Contents: ATF State Laws and Published Ordinances-Firearms 2006-27th Edition (468 pages) ATF Federal Firearms Regulations Reference Guide 2005 (243 pages) Firearms Curios or Relics List 2007 (54 pages) ATF Safety and Security Information for Federal Firearms Lecensees 2004 (about 30 pages) There were also a few other papers in there. Looks like I have lots of reading to do. **Question for those who may know. In one of the books that came in the mail, it states "The theft of firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer is a violation of federal law, investigated by the BATFE and is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years and a fine of $250,000". Does this mean the punishment for stealing a firearm from me will be more sever than before I obtained my C&R FFL?
  11. +1 I've used my fair share of Blazer Brass as well. I don't notice a real difference is quality. They both seem to do the job just fine for myself.
  12. They are cut at an angle to help prevent muzzle rise.
  13. Congrats! I just got a 40 pound book in the mail. I haven't had a chance to open it, but I'm guessing its a book of rules and regulations.
  14. I use Winchester White Box 99% of the time. You can get it from Wal-Mart as cheap as anywhere. I don't shop at Wal-Mart, but I know they are about the cheapest.
  15. I hope to have my grubby fat hands on it Friday, but that all depends on my route. After watching the morning news, the weather may be too wet for the R/C show this weekend, so theres a chance I'll have to make the trip all the way to Hero Gear. We'll see when the time comes.
  16. Thanks for the offer, Winger, but we also have plans for this weekend. We'll be in the Coffee County area for the Giant Scale R/C Plane Airplane and Helicopter show. If I can't manage to make it to Hero-Gear on Friday, I'll have to sqeeze in that drive sometime Saturday afternoon.
  17. Not to mention the 2nd guy that needed to drink some damn water. It sounded like he had a mouth full of glue while talking.
  18. Sir, Please back away from the crack pipe.
  19. My father lives in Tulsa, and I carry a loaded gun during the entire trip. The very same thing can be said for my trips to my cousins house in Little Rock. Carry on.
  20. I'm fat. Fall and Spring are best for my kind.
  21. Sounds good. now I'm gonna need you to place an order with Hangers or Wholesale (flooring stores). that will almost ensure I have a delivery in your area.
  22. Sweeeeeeeet!!!!! There is a fairly good chance that my Friday route will have me in your neck of the woods. Any chance it would be ready by then?
  23. I found out that The Pit Stop is the catering aspect of the business. Their actual location, Big John's, is in Lawrenceburg, Tn. Anyone been there?
  24. Thanks for the offer, gsbell. I may take you up on that. How many rounds do they usually shoot during a match?
