  1. I love mine, too. For the money, Cold Steel is hard to beat. Their prices are a bit steep on the website, but as you pointed out, they can be had for a great bargain from other sources.
  2. I'd suggest a Cold Steel. I have the GunsiteII and Recon1. Both have the Tanto blades. Amazing knives. I wouldn't buy from their website. You can find them cheaper.
  3. I've posted this a few times for members who are having difficulty hitting the target where they want to. Those targets are about 1/2 down the page, and look like a pie chart. There are several other printable targets as well. Enjoy. BTW, Good thread Tungy! http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html
  4. Thanks for the input, guys. You know, I spent several hundred over my original budget while building this AR, and never once can I remember being upset over the cost of any given part(s)--Afterall, you gotta pay if you wanna play. Well, that has now changed. I've been searching around for some ladder type rail covers, and I am beyond shocked at how much this stuff is selling for:mad:. Not only that, but what moron decided it would not be a good idea to sell the stuff in a length that's not long enough to cover an entire rail:mad:? You can by it in a few different lengths, but none over about 6 or 6 1/2 inches:mad:. Like that's gonna work great for my rails that are closer to 9 inches:mad:. Yes, I know I can (and will have to) cut some to fit. Obviously they didn't forget to add the uber-tacticool tax to this stuff. Most places are selling this stuff for $10-$13+ for ONE 6 inch strip. That's a rip-off:mad:. You should be able to buy a 10 FOOT strip for that much, or cheaper. And again, what's up with the length limit? Ok, now that I'm done ranting about that, I was able to find and order some SureFire Z70 Rail Ladders at http://www.gandrtactical.com . They have 3 strips for $15. I actually like the looks of these better than some of the other brands. I figured a couple packages should to the trick. OK, I'm all better now. Carry on.
  5. Also, does standard or boattail really matter?
  6. .32 - MSRP $446.25 .380 - MSRP $795.00
  7. I laughed out loud when I read this response to a question about why they don't have sights on the Seecamp pistols. This was taken from their FAQ page.
  8. Now that I'm finished enough to shoot this thing, I have some ammo questions. Casing options...Really matter if I'm not reloading? I don't plan on reloading for s while, and I'm not sure how much I could get for the brass to someone who does reload. Primer options...Really matter? Brands...Just looking for something to plink around with. I noticed that Wolf has some of the cheapest. Any suggestions? I've seen some people selling a lot of American Eagle. Any good?
  9. Thanks guys. She still looks a bit naked without the sights and rail covers, but that will have to do for right now.
  10. Thanks! I know what you mean. I had to force myself to stay away from everything else until I got it done. It's still going to be a while before I can make any other big purchases. I guess I need to make it to the next TGO meet.
  11. Well, I'm now about 95% complete. I still need to get some flip-up front/rear sights and some ladder-style rail covers. I have to give another big THANKS to Joe at Hero Gear. He and Dan went way above and beyond the call of duty for me. Without going into details, they really did a few things that they didn't have to. For that I am thankful. It's been a great help. Top notch customer service! Here are some crappy pictures of the very-close-to-final product looks like.

No problem. I actually forgot to post the link. It's there now. http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html
  13. You can't blame them--God made them do it.

Go to this link ( http://www.reloadbench.com/pdf.html ), look for the targets that look like the ones posted below, print off a handfull, and use them at your next range session. They worked very well for me. Note: One is for left handed shooters, and the other is for right handed shooter.
  15. At what point does she begin to fear for her own life? She's attempted to do the right thing, one at least three seperate occasions, by having him arrested. The police and court system are supposed to help protect us. When they fail, there is only one solution. Three strikes.........You're out!
  16. All that money and it doesn't hit the middle of the target? Nice sidearm.
  17. I don't know if it will fit well in your hands, but I have to say XD. Mine has been great.
  18. OK, I had a chance to go through this monster of a package from the BATFE. Contents: ATF State Laws and Published Ordinances-Firearms 2006-27th Edition (468 pages) ATF Federal Firearms Regulations Reference Guide 2005 (243 pages) Firearms Curios or Relics List 2007 (54 pages) ATF Safety and Security Information for Federal Firearms Lecensees 2004 (about 30 pages) There were also a few other papers in there. Looks like I have lots of reading to do. **Question for those who may know. In one of the books that came in the mail, it states "The theft of firearms from a federally licensed firearms dealer is a violation of federal law, investigated by the BATFE and is punishable by imprisonment for up to 10 years and a fine of $250,000". Does this mean the punishment for stealing a firearm from me will be more sever than before I obtained my C&R FFL?
  19. +1 I've used my fair share of Blazer Brass as well. I don't notice a real difference is quality. They both seem to do the job just fine for myself.
  20. They are cut at an angle to help prevent muzzle rise.
  21. Congrats! I just got a 40 pound book in the mail. I haven't had a chance to open it, but I'm guessing its a book of rules and regulations.
  22. I use Winchester White Box 99% of the time. You can get it from Wal-Mart as cheap as anywhere. I don't shop at Wal-Mart, but I know they are about the cheapest.
  23. I hope to have my grubby fat hands on it Friday, but that all depends on my route. After watching the morning news, the weather may be too wet for the R/C show this weekend, so theres a chance I'll have to make the trip all the way to Hero Gear. We'll see when the time comes.
  24. Thanks for the offer, Winger, but we also have plans for this weekend. We'll be in the Coffee County area for the Giant Scale R/C Plane Airplane and Helicopter show. If I can't manage to make it to Hero-Gear on Friday, I'll have to sqeeze in that drive sometime Saturday afternoon.
