  1. No Madison.
  2. I had a set of his Spyro Gyro's, and they seemed very nice. They came on the 1911 when I traded for it, and they went with the 1911 when I traded it. The grips were very comfortable, and had plenty of texture for those of us who suffer from sweaty hands while shooting in warmer wheather.
  3. Why? Just kidding. Kinda Congrats!
  4. I'm not even sure that I ever responded to a post made by Mars, or he mine, but his situation has really forced me to think about issues I've been going through in my personal life, and the struggles we/I face on a daily basis. With the way in which he decided to go, I can only imagine what was going through his mind in the short while before he made than final decision. I wonder if talking with someone would have made him rethink his decision. As I said, I'm not even sure if Mars and I ever conversed, but he has really reached out and touched me in one way, shape or form.
  5. A special thanks to Shannon's ex-wife for allowing us the insight as to what happened. For some strange reason, I'm always interested in the cause of someones passing. This is especially true when it happens so suddenly.
  6. It must have been one of them hardcore Block fans. Either way, he/she is far outnumbered. Carry on.
  7. Congrats on your first build. I was lucky not to have lost any detents. Luckily, I was warned and instructed to watch some video of a guy building an AR. Oh, and TN-Robocop let me borrow a pivot pin detent tool. That's a must have for an AR builder.
  8. Admittedly, I've never been to one of the classes, but this is just about how I imagine most of them to be. Somersaults and cartwheels from behind one makeshift fence/wall to another. Not a very realistic scenario for 99.99% of the population. But hey, at least you can say that you're able to do it.
  9. They should be punished for breaking the law, but that there is a whole lotta good eatin'.
  10. Hope he recovers quickly. Glad his injuries weren't any worse.
  11. Yea, I like my women with.........Oh, you said BORES. My bad. I know I'd really like one of those .458 SOCOM's that Rightwinger has.
  12. On the topic of pictures, if anyone is interested, here's his "Marswolf's Lair's Photostream" Some of the pictures really put a smile on my face. Some photos are NOT work or child safe! http://flickr.com/photos/marswolfs_lair/ Those Bacon HotDogs could not have been good for him.
  13. I'm sorry to hear about that. My condolences to his family and friends.
  14. I've never filled one out. I'll never fill one out.
  15. I don't think you'll have to pay taxes, but remember, even though the guns are equal in value (assuming you're correct about that), the dealer is looking to make a profit. If there is no money to be made by the dealer, he's not likely going to do the even trade. If you're gun was worth a bit more than his gun, your chances would be quite a bit better. I assume the dealer will figure the taxes into the trade. I'm pretty sure the dealer still has to pay his taxes on the gun you'd be getting from him.
  16. Thanks for that info. I had no idea that was there. I'll have to check it out.
  17. This probably isn't one of the best songs, but it is somewhat catchy. Radio Version [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V88d-yXotKk[/ame] Better ( UNEDITED) Version [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=s-_Cstkk6Jc[/ame]
  18. Amazing story. Almost made me teary-eyed. I know it's not the same, but it reminds me of my Grandfathers Fender Jaguar guitar that had been stolen many many years ago. About a year ago, my father decided to put the Interweb to use, and what do ya know, he found the guitar for sale on eBay. Some collector/dealer in the Michigan had just posted it for auction. The Fender Bandmaster amp has never been recovered.
  19. There is a section dedicated to this subject at the bottom of the Forums page. http://www.tngunowners.com/dynamics/browsecategory.php?c=4 There is a Gallatin Gun Club, but chances are, you'll not get in there to shoot. They make it very difficult. Trust me, I live in Hendersonville and know all about it.
  20. I don't know, but it's obviously hurting the drug dealers.
  21. Not to thread hijack, but I was wondering the same thing for my AR.
  22. That's why God created the "New Thread" button. I can always leave a big "F-YOU <enter members name here>" message for them.
  23. Actually, the supply is that rigid. I have a friend (yes, one of those "I have a friend" stories) who has been delivering gas and diesel in and around the Middle Tennessee area for several years, and he says that if anyone was to cut the fuel supply to the Middle Tennessee area at any given time, gas would run out within a few short days. This is based on normal consumption. It is not uncommon for fairly busy gas station to have gas delivered on a daily basis, so it's no real wonder why they ran out of gas in just a few short hours. The Exxon at the corner of my road had a trailer load of gas being dropped in the ground when I passed by at about 6:30am, and before 6:30pm, they were bone dry.
  24. I gor a 10 spot that this happens by time they air the AM news. This place has gone nuts. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if all this is happening because some 17 year old punk thought it would be funny to call a news station claiming to be a gasoline supplier or something. Gas is going to run out within the hour. What idiot bought that line of BS?
  25. Well, I saw it with my own two eyes. The Exxon near my house had a parking lot full, and lines out to the street. It was a nightmare just trying to get in to use the ATM machine. Complete morons, they are. Most of these idiots are probably going to waste all that gas on trips to the darn mall anyway. I decided not to get any gas, even though I had less than a 1/4 tank. I'm looking for a reason to blow a few vacation days.
