Welcome to Nashville and TGO. Here is the link he was talking about. http://tennessee.gov/twra/stoneshunted.html Where are you moving to in the Nashville area?

Cheney has been first in line to push for executive authority to override laws against torture and surveillance, and other things. You can easily find a laundry list of examples in regards to Cheney's abuse of VP powers. Google would be a decent place to start. They are countless. Like I said in my original post, even though I see issuse with the McCain/Palin ticket, unless something really crazy happens, it looks as if they are getting my vote. The less of two evils in my opinion. Mainly because thier stance on the Second Amendment is closer to mine. Being more of an Independent, I tend to have the ability to look at things a little more objectively than those with more of an alliance to one certian party. I try my best anyway.

eyebedam would tell us where the Rabbi's Ding Dong is, but his mouth is full at the moment.

While what you're saying is somewhat true, in the context of the debate, I think Biden was clearly attempting to make a point in regards to comments previously made by Dick Cheney, then by Palin. He [biden] was making the point that the VP has Legislative powers, and not the Executive powers which Chaney and Palin want. On top of that, the Constitution clearly establishes limits on those Legislative Branch powers given to the VP. Even though the VP has some less formal duties, mentioning them during the debate would serve no point. Had they allowed Biden and Palin unlimited time to give anders and resposes, he may or may not have given a bit more detail when describing the VP's duties. I'd like to think that most of us watching were able to understand what Biden was getting at, like him or not.

Im Neero would rather be dead than be seperated from his "Ding Dong"!

Can you go into more deatil. I'm not sure where he misspoke.

The Constitution clearly states that the VP acts as President of the Senate. While President of the Senate, his/her duties are to certify the vote count of the Elcetoral College, and to cast a vote in the event of a tie in the Senate. While acting as President of the Senate, the Constitution does not allow the VP to persuade or influence members of the Senate in their decision making. Again, the VP is only there to cast a vote in the event of a tie. This is where Chaney and Palin want to exercise more powers than allowed by The Constitution. Not a good idea, IMHO.

I've been with BOA for the last 6 years, with no problems on their part. I've been quite satisfied. They were most helpful when someone managed to steal my Visa debit card info. I have always been able to manage my money well enough that I'm not forced to keep a real close eye on my checking/savings account balance, so I tend to give them a quick look about once a month. In between of of those looks, I received a letter from Dell Financial stating I had been turned down for a computer. Right away, knowing I had not attempted to buy a computer on credit, I knew something was wrong. I immediately contacted Dell Financial to inquire about the matter. They informed me that someone had attempted to buy a computer and several accessories valued at over $4500. Luckily, whoever stole my bank card information didn't have all the information needed to make such a purchase. As soon as I got off the phone with Dell Financial, I began going over my bank accounts. Sure enough, I noticed four payments made to a cellular provider (Cingular, IIRC) for a total of nearly $600. Seeing how I've always been with Sprint and/or Nextel, I knew these charges were not made by me. I immediately contacted BOA with this information, and without a second thought, they instantly credited every penny back into my account. No questions asked. I was informed about, and did receive some paperwork to fill out, so BOA could do an investigation. Unfortunately, that went nowhere. Other than that one event, my experience with BOA has been as smooth as possible. Not a single complaint from me. Well, I have to take that back. I was quite upset when I found out that BOA was giving loans to illegals, but then I found out that several other local banks were doing the very same thing.

No problem. And to the thread starter, I apologize for unintentionally hijacking your thread. I'm sure many have already had enough of all the politics.

No problem. If you happened to listen to the VP debate, you should have heard her talking about how as VP she believes the Constitution gives her more authority and power than it really does. Problem is, Aricle 1 of the The United States Constitution strictly outlines the powers of the VP. So, one of two things are happening here. 1) She clearly has no understanding of The United States Constitution. 2) She simply doesn't care what our Founding Fathers wrote out in the Constitution. Both are equally dangerous. This is not something I heard on the radio, or happened to watch on the TV. These words came directly from her mouth during the VP debate. She admittedly agrees with Dick Cheney that the Constitution allows the VP to hold power in both the Legislative and Executive branches. Both, Cheney and Palin are wrong. Again, my opinion was based souly on the words she spoke during the VP debate.
-
She's had a full-time job trying to figure out a way to throw the Constitution in the trash, so as VP she can have a wider range of powers. For some strange reason, her lack of respect and/or understanding for the Constitution bothers me. Either way, that ticket seems to be better than our other option.

Ditto! I'll be keeping an eye out for a similar video, but containing a face plant.

Score! If he doesn't have any luck with East Side, he could always try selling it on LSN. No one over there knows how to reasonably price guns either. He should fit right in.

It's obvious this thread is full of Palin supporters. If the video contained Democrats, I'm sure the responses would be just the opposite. I am supporting the McCain/Palin ticket, but it's hard not to notice the fact that she is going to make a very poor VP, and possible President.

I'd say $250 is a fair price. Here is the closest I could find. http://www.gunsamerica.com/952378112/Guns/Pistols/Taurus-Pistols-Revolvers/Revolvers/Taurus_32_S_W_M_74_AS_3_in_IDI_1970s_VG.htm

This isn't the list I was talking about, but it is a list. http://www.familyfriendsfirearms.com/forum/archive/index.php/t-31304.html

There is generally only a very small discount on ammo. I have searched and searched, and have yet to find any great (or even good) deals using the C&R FFL. So far, Midway and Brownell's have offered the better discounts on other items. Also check out AIMSurplus ( http://www.aimsurplus.com/ ) CDNN ( http://www.cdnninvestments.com/ ) There's a whole list over at AR15.com. I can't remember exactly where, but it's there. I'll try to look in a few.

Did anyone mention http://midwayusa.com/? They have a fair amount of AR stuff.

This is a perfect example proving these scumbags can not be rehabilitated. Nice happy ending, for the family anyway. -
If I was in control of the situation, that ship would now be sitting on the ocean floor.

As always, I'd love to attend, and will do my best to do so.
