  1. Looks like the only sure fire way to get a definitive answer is going to be by trying it out. Please let us know how it turns out.
  2. I'm in the Hendersonville area, but I can't think of anywhere to shoot rifles. Unless you know someone, it can be difficult finding somewhere other than a "range" to shoot.
  3. With all the LEO's who visit TGO, and none of them have a clear answer on this?
  4. I'm glad someone was able to talk some sense into a family member. The fact that he was cremated slipped my mind when I had the question about where he was burried. I'm just glad he's fianlly resting in peace.
  5. So, his family continued to be complete a$$e$ about the whole situation? Last I heard, they didn't know what was going to happen without the family signing some papers. I didn't realize you could bury a person just anywhere. I was under the impression it had to be in a cemetery. Sounds like a great place was chosen.
  6. I attended the Friends of NRA dinner here in the Hendersonville area. They gave away and auctioned some great stuff. This was the first I had attended, and was quite surprised at the number of quality guns they had to offer. Of course, I walked out empty handed, but the food was great.
  7. I would like to think NO, but I'm not an expert on such matters. Is this strictly hypothetical?
  8. Just trying to make sure he'll be punctual.
  9. You should not be sitting in traffic. The I-640E detour is smooth sailing. However, it will add an additional 30-40 minutes to the trip. There is no carry issue while driving through the mountians, via the interstate. Hammer down!
  10. Should be in bed. It's far past his bedtime.
  11. That sounds like a VD.
  12. What a f'in joke that was. There was no reason to stop that fight. All those blazing punches didn't even land. I can't believe I watched that crap.
  13. Nope, not pay-per-view. Free TV tonight. It starts at 8pm CST.
  14. Anyone else plan on watching this fight tonight? It's on CBS.
  15. Happy Birthday!
  16. Welcome to Nashville and TGO. Here is the link he was talking about. http://tennessee.gov/twra/stoneshunted.html Where are you moving to in the Nashville area?
  17. Cheney has been first in line to push for executive authority to override laws against torture and surveillance, and other things. You can easily find a laundry list of examples in regards to Cheney's abuse of VP powers. Google would be a decent place to start. They are countless. Like I said in my original post, even though I see issuse with the McCain/Palin ticket, unless something really crazy happens, it looks as if they are getting my vote. The less of two evils in my opinion. Mainly because thier stance on the Second Amendment is closer to mine. Being more of an Independent, I tend to have the ability to look at things a little more objectively than those with more of an alliance to one certian party. I try my best anyway.
  18. eyebedam would tell us where the Rabbi's Ding Dong is, but his mouth is full at the moment.
  19. While what you're saying is somewhat true, in the context of the debate, I think Biden was clearly attempting to make a point in regards to comments previously made by Dick Cheney, then by Palin. He [biden] was making the point that the VP has Legislative powers, and not the Executive powers which Chaney and Palin want. On top of that, the Constitution clearly establishes limits on those Legislative Branch powers given to the VP. Even though the VP has some less formal duties, mentioning them during the debate would serve no point. Had they allowed Biden and Palin unlimited time to give anders and resposes, he may or may not have given a bit more detail when describing the VP's duties. I'd like to think that most of us watching were able to understand what Biden was getting at, like him or not.
  20. Im Neero would rather be dead than be seperated from his "Ding Dong"!

  22. Can you go into more deatil. I'm not sure where he misspoke.
  23. The Constitution clearly states that the VP acts as President of the Senate. While President of the Senate, his/her duties are to certify the vote count of the Elcetoral College, and to cast a vote in the event of a tie in the Senate. While acting as President of the Senate, the Constitution does not allow the VP to persuade or influence members of the Senate in their decision making. Again, the VP is only there to cast a vote in the event of a tie. This is where Chaney and Palin want to exercise more powers than allowed by The Constitution. Not a good idea, IMHO.
  24. I've been with BOA for the last 6 years, with no problems on their part. I've been quite satisfied. They were most helpful when someone managed to steal my Visa debit card info. I have always been able to manage my money well enough that I'm not forced to keep a real close eye on my checking/savings account balance, so I tend to give them a quick look about once a month. In between of of those looks, I received a letter from Dell Financial stating I had been turned down for a computer. Right away, knowing I had not attempted to buy a computer on credit, I knew something was wrong. I immediately contacted Dell Financial to inquire about the matter. They informed me that someone had attempted to buy a computer and several accessories valued at over $4500. Luckily, whoever stole my bank card information didn't have all the information needed to make such a purchase. As soon as I got off the phone with Dell Financial, I began going over my bank accounts. Sure enough, I noticed four payments made to a cellular provider (Cingular, IIRC) for a total of nearly $600. Seeing how I've always been with Sprint and/or Nextel, I knew these charges were not made by me. I immediately contacted BOA with this information, and without a second thought, they instantly credited every penny back into my account. No questions asked. I was informed about, and did receive some paperwork to fill out, so BOA could do an investigation. Unfortunately, that went nowhere. Other than that one event, my experience with BOA has been as smooth as possible. Not a single complaint from me. Well, I have to take that back. I was quite upset when I found out that BOA was giving loans to illegals, but then I found out that several other local banks were doing the very same thing.
