Can't change status of Trading Post ad
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in Feedback and Support
It gives me the option, but after choosing the "sold" option, a message popped up, telling me I did not have permission to make such a change. Or something like that. -
I can lock my ad, but cannot change from "For Sale" to "Sold".

I don't remember who it was, but a fellow TGOer posted a picture of his mailbox a couple years ago.

What the ****!?! No high-def Bristol race on Comcast!?!
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
The audio on Comcast cleared up after a while. It's not HD, but it could have been worse. -

TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
The poor audio quality makes channel 245 on Comcast unwatchable. -
Anyone who thought this would turn out any other way is brain-dead.

Anybody got a H&R Pardner 20 ga pump shotgun?
TripleDigitRide replied to jeff43's topic in Long Guns
I've had no issues with mine, and my boss liked his enough that he bought a second one. They are well worth the money, in my opinion. -

For the money, I don't think you can buy a better shotgun. If you're on a budget, or just don't want to spend the extra money on the 870, don't hesitate. -
Free video editing software for Windows

Ha! I was lucky enough to figure out enough to make that crappy video. I'll look into it, though. -
Free video editing software for Windows
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
My first time editing a video. Nothing important, and nothing special. For whatever reason, I find it rather amusing that there are 6 cash advance/payday loan/title loan places in the same shopping center. -
Free video editing software for Windows
TripleDigitRide replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
Well, yes I do. I didn't know it, but I do. Thank you. -
I know nothing about video editing, but I have a 10 second video that I'd like to slow down and possibly add a few arrows throughout the video. Is anyone aware of any free software that would allow me to do something like this?

Springfield TN Store Offers Discount to Carry Permit Holders!
TripleDigitRide replied to xjsnake's topic in General Chat
This place is right down the street from me. I've never been there, but after seeing this article, I stopped in to support them by purchasing something I didn't really need. -
I tried Ting for my teenage daughter, but that didn't work out very well. If you don't use your phone (talk, text, data) a lot, Ting would be great. It took one month to realize Ting wasn't for her. I wasn't willing to get her a phone with a contract, so she's now using Boost Mobile. It works great for her, and it's $55/month after taxes and whatnot.

I've been with Sprint for several years, and I've been happy. Since buying and doing away with Nextel, their coverage area has really increased. I travel a lot, and I rarely have coverage issues. I pay $89 (after taxes) for unlimited everything. If you use your phone a lot, I don't think there's a better deal than Sprint's unlimited plans. Unlike most other carries, Sprint's unlimited plans are truly unlimited. Some carriers quit offering real unlimited plans, and some of those who still do want well over $100/month. Some of the carriers who claim to offer unlimited plans sneak in restrictions and/or stipulations. Sprint does not. They are truly unlimited. No restrictions or throttling back on data usage after a certain amount. No unlimited talk minutes that are restricted to certain time periods. No cell phone/land line restrictions. Then there are those that have lousy coverage. If i were to ever switch, Verizon would be my only consideration. Their coverage is better, but they'd have to be competitive where pricing is concerned. At last check, in order to get a plan at least equal to the one I have with Sprint, I'd have to pay $30 or more each month. If I had coverage issues with Sprint, I may be willing to pay more through Verizon. But i don't, so I don't see any real reason to change.

I prefer synthetic, because you can go longer between oil changes. Depending on where you get it done, it can be cheaper in the long run.

Murder or Accident, Tony Stewart Race Car Accident
TripleDigitRide replied to runco's topic in General Chat
Here's a slower motion video. You can clearly (as clearly as you can expect from the original video) see the kid grabbing the wing of Tony's car. -
I tried a few, but had very limited success. One of them was the Netgear you have listed. I couldn't find one that would work nearly as well as they claim. I finally gave up and got one of THESE and one of THESE. The adapter allowed me to place the router and modem in the middle of the house, and get good signal anywhere. I've been extremely happy with the results. If you don't have a PC, you may not need the adapter. Can you move the modem and router to a more centralized location?

Good to know. Thanks!
