  1. I see nothing wrong with it. I wouldn't let my 9 year old daughter wear a costume like that, but for a someone your daughters age, I find it very humorous.
  2. I agree. My route takes me all over Middle Tennessee and Kentucky, and I too have visited just about every gun shop in those areas. Very few are worth a second visit. I was just at a little shop (don't recall the name) in Hohenwald, TN, and like most others, it wasn't much worth the first trip, much less a second. They tend do have almost no stock, and if they do, it tends to consist of Hi-Points and way overpriced used garbage. I guess, in more rural areas, this type of gun store is better than no gun store, but I really feel bad for those forced to shop in them. Two of the best gun shops on my route would be Hero-Gear in Winchester, TN and Whitaker's in Owensboro, KY. Other than some of the bigger chain stores, I've NEVER seen such a selection of guns, ammo, knives, gear and accessories in my life as I did at Whitaker's. It's amazing. And from what I saw, the prices were about as fair as I've seen.
  3. I'm not sure if they are exactly what you're looking for, but here are some. http://gunracks.tylerrose.com/index.htm
  4. True, and I don't think it's Kosher for a Jewish guy to be riding b***h on a German motorcycle.
  5. Well, once you get that AR built, you and I can ensure Hendersonville will be a safer place to live.
  6. Be safe! Thank you for your service! Bring me home a wife!
  7. Nice rifle! My best friends mother and step-father live in Navarre, Fl. Welcome to TGO!
  8. School Name: Small Arms Training School (S.A.T.S) Location: Franklin, Tn (Williamson Co. Sheriff's Department) Primary Instructor: Jim Mauth HCP Class Cost: $75.00 Website: Unknown Phone number: 615-794-3333 Your Personal Experience: I highly recommend these folks. This was an eight hour (1 Day) course, split into two groups. While one group was watching the dreaded video, the other group was outside on the range. Somewhere around luch time (IIRC), the 2 groups would swap. There were roughly 5 or 6 total instructors, and every one of them did their best to make the day as enjoyable as possible. There was no shortage of humor all day long. They made the 8 hour day seem like a breeze. Again, I highly recommend these folks.
  9. They should knock you back down to 100 for asking for a darn Glock.
  10. That's why I could never understand why so many outdoor gun ranges use large areas of concrete.
  11. 1) The umpire had money on that game. and/or 2) The umpire is a LSU fan. Guaranteed! He didn't even think about moving out of the way.
  12. What about ricochet? The bullet could easily cause serious injury if the bullet were to ricochet off hard ground. I was at a shooting event when someone had their muzzle pointed at the ground (concrete sidewalk/walkway) when he accidentally discharged his gun. The round ricocheted off the ground, and was imbedded into the side of a garage roughly 50-60 yards away. Not sure one is more likely thatn the other.
  13. I know we have a few members who have a close relationship with GGC, maybe they would be willing to look into this for us.
  14. I vote for creating a friendship with Gallatin Gun Club.
  15. I'm glad everything turned out much better than it could have. No neighborhood is safe from this type of activity. Maybe she will consider some type of personal protection.
  16. So, can a penny dropped from the top of the Sears Tower actually kill someone or drill a whole in the pavement?
  17. As I've stated before, I'm no expert in the arena of politics. I have a question. I keep hearing how Socialism is such a horrible thing, but I can't figure out why everyone has tolerated programs like Social Security and Medicare for all these years. Are those not two great examples of forced Socialism?
  18. Well, I was gonna try, but not after seeing yours. That thing is so good, it almost looks like it was done with some type of machine. So smooth. Very nice work.
  19. That's what happens when you where a darn hoodie!
  20. I see what you're saying, but why should the little people be out on the street while the ultra rich are being bailed out. I'm far from an expert on the subject, but it looks as if both groups have made some very bad decisions, but the ultra rich are being rewarded for screwing up while the little people are forced to fend for themselves.
  21. The "lazy" people are the ones without healthcare? That can't be factual. With the majority of lazy people being on welfare and already receiving tax payer funded healthcare, I have a hard time buying the above statement. Everyone knows, if you don't feel like getting a job so you can obtain some sort of healthcare, the government will give it to you for free. These government programs give no incentive to actually work for anything. The government makes being a complete loser all too easy. It's no wonder so many people take advantage of the system.
  22. Ditto!
  23. Those were some great videos. I give her serious props for being on SNL.
  24. I really appreciate the gesture, but I couldn't accept the gracious offer. Sooner or later, everything will straighten out, and I'll be able to make it to one of the meets. Thanks again.
