  1. This won't end, PERIOD!
  2. Your welcome. BTW, thanks for the forum, Tungy!
  3. No need for lube when a blumpkin is your scene. So I've heard.
  4. -1 Glock +2 Bellshires __________ +1 On the whole deal! I've purchased all of my new handguns from Phil. Best prices I've found, and a great guy to deal with. Enjoy!
  5. Yep, it's been posted before. BTW, Boston Legal comes on in 40 minutes!
  6. Check out this place. Not sure if they'll have exactly what you're lookin' for, but give it a shot. http://www.classicarms.us/
  7. If it were me, I'd build it myself rather than buy one already built. Also, if you're at all worried about the cost, I'd go somewhere other than Franklin Gun Shop.
  8. No problem. Thankfully, I haven't needed them all that often, but when I have, they have been great. A friend of mine just took her vehicle over to them with an issue she was having. I think they charged her $25 or $35 to diagnose the problem. I'm not sure how typlical that is, because another friend took his truck to them, and they charged $55 to diagnose the problem he was having. Either way, they are good guys.
  9. This sounds somewhat familiar to the "gas shortage" we saw a month or so ago. Looks like my AR will be worth a few bucks more, quite a bit sooner than expected.
  10. Kevin and Craig are the best guys I've ever dealt with when it comes to having a vehicle worked on. This week makes the 3rd or 4th time I've used them, and I don't see myself going anywhere else. I've had them do a handful of repairs on my truck. They've always been 100% honest, 100% fair, 100% competent, and have always been the cheapest by far. Just an example; They just replaced the starter on my truck for $40! Of course, that $40 was for labor only. I picked up the starter at Auto Zone, and they replaced it. They also did some steering column work for about $200 cheaper than anyone else wanted. If you're in this area, and looking for a great place that you can trust, call these guys. Gallatin Automotive (615) 338-0029 (Kevin/Craig) 1068 Lavergne Cir Hendersonville, TN
  11. After seeing those, I think I'd like to change my vote. I kid, I kid!
  12. Someone could correct me if I'm wrong, but it was made between 1977-1982, in in Springfield, Massachusetts.
  13. See, I told ya, I'm no expert.
  14. I think it's a lot less hassle if you meet/sell FTF. Less chance of anything going wrong, and if anything does go wrong, it can quickly be resolved.
  15. Thanks for sharing that story. Very interesting. Still looks to be in great shape for it's age.
  16. I am no expert, but I thought Colt decided to put adjustable rear sights on some of the National Match's as early as the early 30's, then again with the Colt Gold Cup National Match in the 50's. Again, I'm no expert.
  17. I've already voted, and my vote didn't go to Obama, a 3rd party candidate, or Mickey Mouse. Yes, my question is a bit hypothetical, but it's still a question I'm curious about. I'm truly intersted in what these men and women will do if/when there were such a ban implemented.
  18. Sounds fair. I wouldn't call it a GREAT deal, but with the extras, I'd jump on it if I were in your position.
  19. ........When Obama Bans All Firearms?
  20. So, it won't be like full-auto's are now? They are going for crazy high prices. A ban by Obama would make those $20,000 full auto's worth far less than they are selling for now?
  21. That's kind of what I was getting at. After the ban, how much will it be worth?
  22. .....When Obama Gets Elected?
  23. WOW! A politician has lied to the American people. Run for the hills, because this is something new.
  24. I think a better question would be; When are all these cry babies going to get their a***s off the internet and do something about the problems they have? Long before any of us were around, the Government has been taking portions of our money and doing with what they see fit. Socialism has been around long before any of us. All of a sudden it's become a huge issue? Give me a break. No matter who's in office, money will be taken from SOMEONE, then handed to someone else who our elected officials deem more deserving. This has ALWAYS been the way. Yes, I have a problem with this, but it's obviously not that big of a deal to me, because I choose not to do any more about it than the rest of you. And I assure you one thing, b******g about it on TGO isn't going to accomplish anything. McCain's tax plan is no better than Obama's, no matter how you dissect it. In the end, one group of folks will have more money taken from them, and handed to someone else. It's just a matter of who's going to pay for most if it. IMO, a fair tax plan is what we need. A plan where you keep all your money, and only pay taxes on what you buy. This way, it doesn't matter how much you make. If a person making $10,000/year decides to buy a new wide screen TV, they pay the same amount of taxes as the person making $1,000,000/year. In the end, the more wealthy folks will pay more taxes, simply because they generally spend more. If you can't afford it, you don't buy it. No matter what the government decides, there will always be a group of people who are unhappy with the decision. That's just the way it is. Politics is like religion, everyone has their own opinion, and they are always deadset that they are right and everyone else is wrong. Their way is the best way, and the other way isn't even worth looking at. To me, one is just as annoying as the other.
  25. Congrats! You liking that stock? You shouldn't have any problem reaching those far away targets.
