  1. I've ordered from them at least 1/2 a dozen times, and never had the slightest issue. They've always been great. What kind of delivery issue is he having?
  2. www.ironwooddesigns.com - You may have to call them. I don't see them listed on the site, but I know they make (or once made) them. A friend of a friend had to make a call to order for his AR. I want to say it was about $250. You may also want to give these guys a call. http://www.tacticalrifles.net/tactical_fal15.asp And another - http://www.lakesideguns.com/title1/walnut.html
  3. Thanks for the helpful info, Joe. That's what I needed to know.
  4. Since I can't find out what kind of BUIS this is, does anyone what a fair price for this would be. I'm probably looking to sell or trade it, but want to make sure it's fair on both ends. Thanks.
  5. Congrats! As far as BUIS go, after looking at all the options out there, I like the Troy's (about $250 for the pair) the best. That's what I'm going with, and they're going on a very similar platform as you have there. Look around at all the options, because you may find something you like better.
  6. All the TALO's I've seen were about $600
  7. Shark was a great show. So was the recently cancelled Boston Legal. That really pisses me off.
  8. I do like the jewelled barrel.
  9. I guess it could be the same thing, made by the same company, just doesn't have the MI markings. I know the Troy BUIS are the same as the one's on the S&W M&P15. Same manufacturer, just different markings.
  10. I was kinda thinking that, but I can't see the other side, and I thought MI always marked their stuff. I could be wrong. That's been the slosest match so far.
  11. If you want it, buy it. I've never had any issues with any of the Ruger wheel gns I've owned.
  12. That's pretty close, but not exactly the same. Thanks for the info.
  13. I see no markings at all, and can't seem to find one online. Do you know what brand it is, and what they cost? Thanks in advance.
  14. Some of those are beyond amazing. Thanks for sharing.
  15. I watched all 3. Thanks for sharing. Too bad the government doesn't see things quite the same way.
  16. +1 It's not easy, but I have to force myself to stay away from that place for a while. Great bunch of guys.
  17. Unless someone knows a better way, you'll have to cut/grind it off with something like a Dremel. You'll then have to drill and tap for the new sight.
  18. Based on the articles I've read, over penetration is not likely to occur with the Five-Seven. Most statistics I've read show the penetration levels on a block of bare gelatin are roughly 7"-8". Don't get the statistics confused with the same ammo fired from a P90. Those numbers would be closer to 12". How accurate are those numbers? I have no idea. They are just the ones I've been able to find. Maybe a real pro can chime in.
  19. :D
  20. Congrats to the both of you. Have a great day!
  21. I've never carried one. It wouldn't be the choice for me, but I do know of a few guys who use the Five-Seven as their primary carry weapon, and they seem very comfortable with their choice. Many would probably argue that the penetration and wound channel of the Five-Seven are not the best for real stopping power. I guess shot placement would be a bit more crucial. I'm no expert, so take that for what it's worth.
  22. That picture is money in the bank. Very nice.
