My daughter no longer believes in Santa, so I've decided to torture her by placing all the gifts under the tree. I have been listening to her beg to open just one gift tonight. This should keep me entertained for a while.

At one time, I was addicted to Yahoo Pool. I tried the pool game on Myspace, but that thing was horrible. I'll check out the site you've mentioned. Thanks for sharing.

I live in a 1200 square foot, 2 bedroom apartment, so I decided it would be best to strategically place 1 handgun in the kitchen, 1 in the living room, and a couple in the master bedroom. If someone were to kick in my door, unless I'm in the bathroom, I generally have a gun of somekind within arms reach. I just can't get myself to carry one on my hip while I'm in the house. I know that works well for many, but I can't do it.

I apologize for having an opinion. My bad. I didn't realize those weren't allowed on an internet forum. FYI, I don't have a forum, nor do I have the desire to have one. If you're talking about AmericanGunOwners.net, that is not my site. Someone else started that site, and I was asked if I would become an Admin in the event they would need some extra help. Being the nice guy that I am, I agreed to help in any way I can.

I miss the Christmas Eve nights in Chicago. There was always TONS of snow, and we'd trek out to look at all the Christmas lights. I've tried this a few times over the last 13 or so years of living in Nashville, but without the snow, it's just not the same experience.

TGO is one of the greatest gun forums, IMHO, and this thread does not reflect how most of us would like TGO to be viewed by anyone. Yea, I was in Hero Gear a few days ago, and one of the salesmen (?) was telling me that they had to cut to stock sights off his XD by basically slicing them in half, longways. Yea, what a PITA that would be.

I finished all mine a couple hours ago. My daughter decided she could find a few minutes in her busy vacation schedule to come home for Christmas morning gift openeing, then it's back out the door to visit more family. Heck, I guess I could use the break.

I've been coon hunting a total of 1 time, and that was several years ago in Overton County (Livingston). I went with my girlfriends brother and some of his friends. I did more observing than anything, and even that was a blast. I esspecially liked the cool miners-type flashlight I got to wear on my head.

If you can't/won't say something to a mans face, you probably shouldn't be saying it in a public forum over the internet. If portraying yourself as someone who's in the military is an offensive act, I think it's safe to say that it's equally offensive to accuse a member of the military of being dishonest about his service to our country. I have no clue if FNandGlock was/is in the military, but calling him a liar based on little more than a hunch is slightly disrespectful. And yes, it would be equally disrespectful if he were to be lying about his military service. I sure hope that's not the case. Either way, this has turned into nothing more than a pissing match between a Benefactor and a Moderator/Benefactor. Surely we can represent this wonderful site in a more positive manner.
