  1. Same here, my friend. That's what it's all about. Merry Christmas.
  2. Well played!
  3. Playing some internet pool and listening to music. Have a good one!
  4. I think you'd be just fine with the locker you've described. As far as ammo and a fire goes, I'm no expert, but I've seen people throw ammo directly into a fire without any serious reaction. The ammo made a "pop" noise, but that was about it. Again, I'm not an expert. Maybe someone with real experience can chime in.
  5. Just got back from taking a less fortunate family a bicycle for their daughters Christmas surprise. My daughter used it a total of one time, and it's been sitting in the closet ever since. I just so happened to be browsing the "Wanted" section on Craigslist about an hour ago, and came across an ad looking for a girls bicycle. I guess it was the #1 item on her daughters wish list. Lucky for them, I had just what they were looking for. Merry Christmas to the little girl and her family!

Congrats! lookin good! As far as scopes go, I don't have any firsthand experience, but I keep hearing a lot about Millett. For the money, they are probably worth looking at. Good luck.
  7. I'm not sure why you've had so much trouble, but I can't say I've had the same experience. Well, I did have an issue with a vendor who is no longer a member here. Other than that, I've always head back from them. Sometimes these guys are really swamped, and just like everyone else, some things just slip their mind. I generally try to give them a few days to get back to me, and if I haven't heard back from them, I'll send them a friendly reminder. As a rule, I think it's safe to say that some vendors (not just here) would rather not deal with "price shoppers". Many of them have a steady flow of in-store customers to keep them busy and financially stable enough that the few sales they may lose from price shoppers is not a real big deal to them or their bottom line. If you haven't already, I'd try the friendly reminder route. At least give it a shot before giving up on local dealers. There are many positives to buying locally if at all possible.
  8. Merry Christmas, Joe! I hope Santa is good to you.
  9. Those are some great pictures. I wish I could see what it looked like before.
  10. I guess it's safe to assume they are Blued.
  11. Are these the Blued, Parkerized, or Hard Chrome Finish? Thanks!
  12. Yep, cause salt is waaaaaaaaaaaaaay too dangerous.
  13. That would be one helluva stocking. I may have to contact Nashville Tent and Awning for that one. Can't go wrong with that kind of warranty. I'm sure he'll love it. Merry Christmas, from me and mine, to you and yours.
  14. I know what you mean. I about hit the floor when I saw the price tag. Even before seeing the price, there wasn't much about the gun that caught my eye. I'm not sure what he sees in that little ugly gun.
  15. Nothing wrong with her wardrobe! Go Cowboys!
  16. My daughter no longer believes in Santa, so I've decided to torture her by placing all the gifts under the tree. I have been listening to her beg to open just one gift tonight. This should keep me entertained for a while.
  17. At one time, I was addicted to Yahoo Pool. I tried the pool game on Myspace, but that thing was horrible. I'll check out the site you've mentioned. Thanks for sharing.
  18. I live in a 1200 square foot, 2 bedroom apartment, so I decided it would be best to strategically place 1 handgun in the kitchen, 1 in the living room, and a couple in the master bedroom. If someone were to kick in my door, unless I'm in the bathroom, I generally have a gun of somekind within arms reach. I just can't get myself to carry one on my hip while I'm in the house. I know that works well for many, but I can't do it.
  19. WOW! Great video! Thank You to all who have served and are currently seriving our wonderful country. Merry Christmas!
  20. I apologize for having an opinion. My bad. I didn't realize those weren't allowed on an internet forum. FYI, I don't have a forum, nor do I have the desire to have one. If you're talking about AmericanGunOwners.net, that is not my site. Someone else started that site, and I was asked if I would become an Admin in the event they would need some extra help. Being the nice guy that I am, I agreed to help in any way I can.
  21. I miss the Christmas Eve nights in Chicago. There was always TONS of snow, and we'd trek out to look at all the Christmas lights. I've tried this a few times over the last 13 or so years of living in Nashville, but without the snow, it's just not the same experience.
  22. I just wanted to clarify that I was not insinuating that Moderators should not have an opinion. I only wish it was dealt with a little differently. But hey, it's all good, because........ Santa Claus is Coming To Town
  23. I'm gonna be forced to fight the other last minute shoppers. I forgot some stocking stuffers, and I'm assuming my girlfriend is gonna want something from Santa, too.
  24. The Colt Defender will be my next puchased, after the DW CBOB.
  25. Well, please don't judge this forum based on what you've witnessed in this thread. TGO is one of the greatest gun forums, IMHO, and this thread does not reflect how most of us would like TGO to be viewed by anyone. Please take the time to browes the reat of TGO, and you'll quickly realize why so many of us love spending too much time on here. Welcome to TGO. Enjoy your stay.
