  1. I just read in the Tennessean that we in Hendersonville will be seeing some new changes in the near future. Simialar idea to the one being discussed, just slightly different.
  2. I know what you mean. I quit going to Hickory Hollow a long time ago, and Rivergate shortly after. I live less that 5 minutes from Rivergate, and I'll travel the extra distance to Opry Mills or Franklin if I just have to go to a mall for something.
  3. Very Nice! Congrats on the new toy. Looking forward to a range report.
  4. Happy Bithday! Enjoy the day with your family. Let us know what kind of goodies you get.
  5. That's true, but Wal-Mart doesn't sell the type of guns everyone's all freaked about. If everyone was in a panic to buy 12 gauges and .22's, Wally World would be good to go.
  6. I guess I was misinformed. I did a google search and came up with a few atricles regarding Wal-Mart and guns. According to reports, Wal-Mart decided to stop selling guns in 1,000+ stores, nation wide. They were targeting (no pun intended) the stores with sluggish gun sales.
  7. I have no idea if it's true or not, but I was told that only 1 Wal-Mart per county is allowed to sell guns. Again, only what I was told.
  8. If that's a problem, I would be more than happy to remove the link. Seeing how countless other members have links to countless other gun forums in their signature, I didn't realize it would cause any trouble. I have made a conscience effort to NEVER discuss that site in a public forum on TGO. As I stated in a previous thread, that site is not mine. Someone asked me if I would be willing to help out a little, and I agreed. IIRC, there are other TGO members who are Admin's or Mod's on other forums as well. Again, if the link in my signature is causing you any trouble at all, just say the word, and I'll be more than happy to remove it. I'm not here to cause any trouble.
  9. If the only emails I would have received were from subscribed threads, that would explain why haven't received any emails. I don't subscribe to threads. And as far as me Admining another forum, you seem to be far more sure of that than I am.
  10. I'm not sure what emails you're talking about, but I don't think I've ever received an email since becoming a member of TGO.
  11. I'm not seeing any noticeable differences. Everything seems to be working just fine for me.
  12. 99% of what I shoot is WWB. I've never had any problems. I'm glad things seem to be working better for you. Keep us posted.
  13. Welocme to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  14. +1 Phil is a great guy.
  15. Have you checked with http://xdguys.com/? I don't know if the parts are any different than the current XD's, but it may be worth a shot.
  16. All Black Model - MSRP: $679.00 Bi-Tone Model - MSRP: $749.00 Both can be had for far less.
  17. NO! No talking about that CBOB 10mm. Can I touch it?
  18. Some of what you say may be true, but that doesn't mean quality cables can't be found for a reasonable price. You do NOT have to pay $80-$100 for a 4'-6' HDMI cable, when a cable of the same quality or better can be had for 1/4 of the price.
  19. That's actually very common in most of the trucking industry today. All semi's are built with a "black box" installed from the factory. These computers record speed, RPM's, engine temp, idle time, braking, oil pressure, exhaust temp, RPM's when you shift gears, MPG's, and just about everything else you could imagine. It also records the time and date of EVERYTHING. As far as the computers with GPS capabilities go, a vast majority of the trucking companies have been using these for quite a few years now. Not only can they track many of the things I listed above, but they can also track your location, how long you've been at that location, and all kinds of other great stuff. Qualcomm's OmniTRACS system is the most used system at this time. '85 or '86 is when they started putting these sytems in semi's.
  20. That's right, let everyone else learn the hard way. +1 Hero Gear and Guns & Leather!
  21. Here's another. http://www.ableammo.com/catalog/product_info.php?products_id=31441
  22. I think it's only the one thread, and it's probably because Tungy had to move it from the public threads. I made a post in another Ready Room thread, and it's not showing up in the Recent Threads. Oh, I see more now.
  23. I buy all of my audio/video cables from Blu Jeans Cable. The quality, customer service and prices are top notch! I've called with technical questions, and almost always get the owner (Kurt) on the phone. On more than one occasion he has saved me money by being honest with me. He could have just as easily let me spend more money on a product that I thought I needed, but no, he told me that I could go a cheaper route without sacrificing quality. As long as they are in business, I will never buy audio/video cables from anyone else.
  24. So far, so good. Thanks for the helpful info.
  25. It seems to work just fine for a few minutes, then updating message pops up again for several minutes. That's happened a few times in the last 30-45 minutes.
