  1. Which is exactly why we can't expect to pay our $35/year and forget about it. If now isn't the time to be all up in the face of our representatives, there never will be a time. We have to make ourselves heard. I know it's much easier to moan about it on an internet forum, but that's hardly going to get anything accomplished.
  2. That stinks! If there's anything we can do to help, don't hesitate to ask. Hey, maybe it's a simple/cheap fix. Don't get all worked up quite yet.
  3. This seems to be the main gripe that folks have with the NRA. Many believe that the NRA, like the unions, is only in it for the money. It's not difficult to see why some people think along these lines. If the average pro-2A supporter (including myself) would get more involved in 2A matters, we wouldn't have to depend on the NRA (or any other organizations) to do all, or any of the fighting for us. Simply paying $35/year and forgetting about it isn't the answer. We must be more proactive.
  4. That's great! Nice job, guys! I must have missed the thread about needing supplies. I don't reload, nor do I know anything about it, but I'd be willing to buy something he may need. What exactly does he need, and where's the best (cheapest?) place to get it? I'm in the Crossville area almost every Monday morning.
  5. I just went through the whole 10mm debate with myself. After weighing all the 10mm options, I decided on the Dan Wesson CBOB 10mm. It is SUPER SWEEET!
  6. Sounds like a date. Thanks for the info, Len and David.
  7. I'm trying to find out what the BBofG is saying the Beretta Custom Carry II (Type M) worth. The most recent edition would be perfect, but I'll take what I can get. Thanks in advance.
  8. Congrats. Enjoy the new toy.
  9. Thanks for the response. I saw that, but I've also seen some of the regular (non-XCS model) Marine Magnums both ways. Thanks again for taking the time to research for me.
  10. I'm pretty sure he's ALWAYS right. He is the man of infinite wisdom.
  11. I've never counted, but I don't recall ever attending any gun show in Nashville with 600-850 tables. Hell, I think 250 would be a stretch.
  12. No one knows the answer to this?
  13. I ended up getting a pink case from Hero Gear. It wasn't exactly what I was looking for, but it will serve the purpose for the time being. She will love it.
  14. I'm not sure how that stuff is made, but it's like a loaded baked tater (with bacon, yes) that's been run through a mixer. YUMMY! Best if served closer to room temp.
  15. Meatspin? Oh, you said "meatSPACE". My bad. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy
  16. Congrats! Doesn't get much cheaper than that.
  17. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  18. Snowmobile Country! That's one of the very few things I miss about living up north. Enjoy your trip.

  20. Based on the license plate, Michigan?
  21. Same place this guy is.
  22. So, if buying a long gun in another state, you must be present in that state, and go though the background check there? Then you can bring the long gun back into Tennessee, without going through a TN FFL? If I were in Tennessee, and decided to buy a long gun from someone in Ohio (example), the gun would have to be shipped to an FFL in Tennessee?
  23. So, I can buy a long gun from an out-of-state seller, without going through an FFL?
  24. Looks like people are willing to pay him crazy money. http://www.gunbroker.com/Auction/ViewItem.asp?Item=119385508
