  4. Any surprise that Shelby County blew away the competition?
  5. That sucks. Especially cause the sheriff/neighbor didn't stop them. I hope you find the trailer.
  6. $25? Man, he's going to be dissapointed. He took the gun as a trade (against his wifes wishes), and was hoping to get about $150 for the rifle and scope.
  7. I've had the chance to shoot a couple, and both seemed to be very nice.
  8. Just another reason why online shopping has become so popular.
  9. I'm not sure what kind of ignitors it uses. I don't know a thing about muzzleloaders. I can look to see if I can figure it out.

  11. A friend of mine wants to sell this Thompson Center Black Diamond, but neither of us know much of anything about these things. It appears to be in good shape, with a few surface rust spots. It has a Simmons 3-9 x 50 scope. Anyone have any idea what a fair price for this thing would be? Thanks in advance.
  12. I have a Savage Model 4C Deluxe .22, and it appears to have a huge amount of side-to-side play in the trigger. Feels very sloppy. First of all, I know nothing about this rife. I haven't been able to find out any info as to it's age, or anything else for that matter. It does appear to be quite old. Anyway, I'm wondering if this "sloppy" trigger is "normal" for this rifle. As you can see in the pictures below, there doesn't apprear to be too many ways to tighten things up. Anyone with experince know how I may remove some of the side-to-side slop in the trigger? Thanks in advance.
  13. This post is useless without pictures.

  15. Ah, typical Motor City for ya!
  16. Try to place an order for PMags.
  17. Congrats! Yea, Joe and crew are pretty good guys to work with. Their customer service has always been great as far as I'm concerned. Enjoy your new toys.
  18. They need a refresher course on just how "deep and fundamental" we can really be. Blowing that entire pile of camel s**t ridden sand off the face of the earth would be a good start. Nope! Obama isn't likely going to be the guy to do it, but neither was the last moron we were stuck with.
  19. We've were playing 'Mr. Nice Guy' long before Obama had his hands in the mix.
  20. Nothing the government does can surprise me anymore. How proud we should be.
  21. Last time I was in Academy, 2 thug-lookin fella's walked over to the sale clerk at the gun counter and asked, "we can buy some a'dem musky (musket?) pistols with no felony check, right?" They were talking about black powder pistols. I left before they finished shopping. I've been keeping an eye on the news, waiting to hear a story about shooting with black powder revolvers. I guess no news is good news.
  22. I've seen them for $1500, so I would imagine around that. I'm not expert, so take it for what it's worth. After further review, I could possibly be way off.
