Last time I was in Academy, 2 thug-lookin fella's walked over to the sale clerk at the gun counter and asked, "we can buy some a'dem musky (musket?) pistols with no felony check, right?" They were talking about black powder pistols. I left before they finished shopping. I've been keeping an eye on the news, waiting to hear a story about shooting with black powder revolvers. I guess no news is good news.

I've seen them for $1500, so I would imagine around that. I'm not expert, so take it for what it's worth. After further review, I could possibly be way off.

I know many don't use one, but I loved the pivot detent tool. Made it a breeze.

Sheriff's Department) Primary Instructor: Jim Mauth HCP Class Cost: $75.00 Website: Unknown Phone number: 615-794-3333 Your Personal Experience: I highly recommend these folks. This was an eight hour (1 Day) course, split into two groups. While one group was watching the dreaded video, the other group was outside on the range. Somewhere around luch time (IIRC), the 2 groups would swap. There were roughly 5 or 6 total instructors, and every one of them did their best to make the day as enjoyable as possible. There was no shortage of humor all day long. They made the 8 hour day seem like a breeze. Again, I highly recommend these folks.

Nice! I was trying to get tickets, but I couldn't get myself to shell out that kind of money. I could possibly get some slightly cheaper during the last minutes before the show, but I'm too lazy for all that.
