  1. In a situation as you described, I'd always assume the worst. Keeps you on your toes.
  2. I have a whole lot of that in my future, too. When? I have no idea, but I still have an AR15 that's been begging to finally have some rounds put through her. Oh, and a Dan Wesson CBOB 10mm, too. Oh, so will this Beretta I just picked up. Oh, and as of the 18th of this month, my daughters 10/22 will need some use. I can't wait till her birthday.
  3. This is bad on so many levels.
  4. Congrats. One of those may be in my future.
  5. My EDC is the XD40 4" Service Model, and it's been amazing. After I get my "I just gotta have it" guns out of the way, I plan on buying a 9mm and .45 to go along with the .40 I already have. To me, it's a perfect fit for my hands. If it's a comfortable fit for you and the price is right, by all means buy it.
  6. Ok, I like women with big butts and thick thighs, so maybe "sexy" is in the eye of the beholder, but I think my newest purchase is quite sexy. I've been searching for a CCII for a very long time. I finally found one in the desired condition and at a price I can live with. I was able to pick her up for less that I've been seeing some used ones go for. I'm very happy that I was able to be patient for the "right" deal to come along. Damn, she's gorgeous!

    My EMP:up:

Congrats! That Sailor Jerry's sounds great on a beautiful afternoon like this one.
  8. We should be proud, eh?
  9. Welcome to TGO! Emjoy your stay!
  10. Yea, I thought about that, but a friend of mine gave it to me to sell. I cleaned it up and will post it for sale, shortly. If it were mine, I may start to work on it some, but I don't want to mess it up worse.
  11. Thanks for the info. From what I understand, the "C" stands for "Clip Fed". So I've been told anyway. I really have no idea. It appears to be in pretty decent shape, with the exception of the side-to-side slop in the trigger and you can tell that the stock had been cracked and repaired.
  12. I guess anything is possible. This local FFL had nothing bad to say about Bud's, but maybe he did have an axe to grind. It only came up, because someone had a gun shipped from Bud's to this local FFL, and for some reason Bud's had two FFL numbers listed on the paperwork. It seemed to be straightened out with a simple phone call. That's about all I know.
  13. I heard (from a local FFL) something about Bud's Gun Shop getting/being in trouble with the government. I don't know all of the details, but this FFL was telling me that Bud's Gun Shop had their FFL "pulled", and somehow got another FFL, possibly under a different name. Anyone hear anything about this?
  14. Stock Status: (Out of Stock)

  17. Any surprise that Shelby County blew away the competition?
  18. That sucks. Especially cause the sheriff/neighbor didn't stop them. I hope you find the trailer.
  19. $25? Man, he's going to be dissapointed. He took the gun as a trade (against his wifes wishes), and was hoping to get about $150 for the rifle and scope.
  20. I've had the chance to shoot a couple, and both seemed to be very nice.
  21. Just another reason why online shopping has become so popular.
  22. I'm not sure what kind of ignitors it uses. I don't know a thing about muzzleloaders. I can look to see if I can figure it out.
  23. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  24. A friend of mine wants to sell this Thompson Center Black Diamond, but neither of us know much of anything about these things. It appears to be in good shape, with a few surface rust spots. It has a Simmons 3-9 x 50 scope. Anyone have any idea what a fair price for this thing would be? Thanks in advance.
