  1. Have you tried to staple $100 bills to your forehead? That usually gets their attention. Seriously thought, I run into the same problem from time to time. I be as patient as I can be, then I'll do something get the attention of someone working the counter. I'd rather they address me, but I have no issue letting them know that I need help.
  2. Congrats! I may have to get another one of those in .40, one of these days.
  3. That would be a great show, too. I bet those tickets are gonna be out of this world. Actually, I just took a peek over at Craigslist, and they didn't seem too bad.
  4. I guess that depends on the exact model and condition. You should find out as much info as you can, then look on gunbroker and gunsamerica as a reference. Either way, it probably wouldn;t be a "good" deal, unless you really want that shotgun. If you have no need for the shotgun, you're not likely to come out any better if you have to turn around and sell it too.
  5. Yep, you're gettin' old. I've seen the Crue 3 times, twice in the Chicagoland area, and once at Alpine Valley in Wisconsin. OH my, those were the days. Not a care in the world.
  6. Congrats! Welcome back to shooting! Enjoy!
  7. Ooops! Sorry bout that.
  8. That's true, but you better be very confident that your employer can keep you around, or if you're a business owner, you better be confident that customers will continue to have the ability to pay. Being the buyers market that it is, I was gonna take the leap, but as confident as I'd like to be with my employment situation, I decided to hold off for a bit.
  9. Yep, RoG was/is a great idea. Boy, that AR-15 sure does have the busiest Classified section I've ever seen.
  10. At least I know I'm not searching for something that doesn't exist. And I don't feel quite so bad for passing up on that deal at the gun show.
  11. That's the newer XCS model. Still saying 18" barrel. Maybe they shortened the mag tube? Most MM's I've seen have a capacity of 6+1, but that ad says 7+1, still having the 18" barrel.
  12. Yea, I knew I wasn't crazy, but I can't find anyone who knows for sure, and it doesn't look like getting an actual person from Remington on the phone is going to be an easy task.
  13. I'm not sure if they will work, or anything about the seller, but this is what I've found. http://www.mfgservs.com/products.html#chamberflags
  14. MMMMMM....Taco's.
  15. Does anyone know if the Remington Marine Magnum comes with barrels other than 18"? I swear that I've seen some where the barrel and magazine tube are the same lenght, which would mean the barrel is about 18 1/2". I have also seen some folks advertising them as 18 1/2" barrels, but not sure if they were mistaken. Remington's website only mentions the 18" barrel. I know the MM has been around for a while, but does anyone know if there have been any changes/improvments in the newer versions vs the older versions? I'm in the market for a Marine Magnum, but I'd like to know my options before spending the money.
  16. Congrats. I'm sure you'll love it.
  17. Yeah, because the couple sites I just looked at had them for your rifle for about $670-$729.
  18. I saw a blued/wood for over $500 at Academy.
  19. You very well could be right, but for some reason, I swear that I've seen pictures of them at the same length. I thought a pro would chime in, but I guess I'll have to call Remington.
  20. The same thing happened when I ordered a trigger kit from XDGuys. Like dumba**es, they put it in a regular envelope. The trigger kit was part of a Group Buy, and almost everyone rceived a package similar to yours. Envelope was ripped open, and most of the contents were missing. I'd have a talk with the person who sold/shipped the grips.
  21. I wish I could tell what else I just got for Valentines day, but I can't.
  22. Congrats and enjoy!
  23. GEEEZ! Make us all look bad, why don't ya. I got my girlfriend one of these real long stem rose that's been preserved in a clear lacquer and dipped/trimmed in 24K gold, and she also got a gift card for a 60 minute hot stone massage from a local spa. I got a new knife, wallet, breakfast, and she will be making a big ribeye dinner this evening.
