This does not surprise me at all. Never been to the "West" location, but I visited the Nashville location a total of one time. And that was one time too many.

Took the Hunter Education Course many years ago, but have yet to hunt. I'm going to get prepared for next year. Thanks for sharing the photos and stories.

Trifexis and Comfotis are all we use. They are not cheap, but have worked extremely well.

You must have a very large bedroom if you are considering a 55"-60" TV, especially if you'll be watching it in the dark. My bedroom is fairly large, and 42" is plenty. As far as HDMI inputs go, make sure the TV you buy has enough for your needs. While looking at Black Friday deals last year, many of the "door buster" TV's had only 1 or 2 HDMI inputs. You may find you'll need more. Personally, I don't think 4K is worth the money quite yet. Not enough available content to justify the additional cost.

There is no politically correct solution to this problem.

Many of the super duper Black Friday sale prices at Gander Mtn. are everyday prices at many other retailers. Nope! Still no reason to shop there.

  One is a Peterbilt (side windows), and the other is a Kenworth (front and side windows). Just a design preference.

Man, I'm telling you, the firearms and ammo was not there when I posted this. Reloading was the first category listed under Shooting. I checked 5-6 times before I posted this. That's weird. 

I'm pretty sure this has been discussed before, but my search-fu didn't turn up what I was looking for.  A friend of mine (no, not me  :cool:) is engaged to a woman who was convicted of a felony about 15 years ago. He didn't go into detail, but it seems like she made a stupid mistake in her late-teens. Anyway, is interested in obtaining his carry permit and keeping at least one firearm in the home for protection. I wasn't convinced that my answer would be 100% correct, so I wanted to get some input before giving him advice.  They've been together for almost 9 years, so I'm not sure kicking her to the curb is a viable option right now. 

As of a few days ago, Academy Sports had guns listed on their website. Now they are gone.  :shrug:
