  1. What is the point of being secretive? When becoming a Mason, do they give you a reason? Would any harm be done if these secrets were revealed to the general public? If so, generally speaking, what kind of harm?
  2. I'm not a Mason, but I do often wonder, how long do you have to be a member before they start filling you in on the Top Secret stuff? Surely someone has infiltrated this Secret Society, only to find out what the fuss is all about. I don't search it out, but I don't recall any members or former members talking publicly about what a bad group the Mason's are. What happens if a member was to spill the beans about what goes on behind closed doors? Do they threaten such members and their families with death?
  3. You have not been a member for at least 30 days.
  4. I'm far from an expert, but I'm very happy with my Spike Tactical lower.
  5. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  6. I was almost tempted to settle for one with the 1/2" shorter barrel, but knowing me, I would have never been happy. Thanks to everyone for the kind words.
  7. Many Wal-Marts quit carrying fireams, and all Wal-Marts (along with just about anyone that sells ammo) have been running low on ammo. Speaking of ammo, Academy in Rivergate has (as of 45 minutes ago) has tons of 9mm and .45 ammo. Looked like they had just about everything other than the darn 10mm that I'm looking for. Oh, and not a single box of 12 guage slugs.
  8. With a whole lot of patience, and a little wheelin' and dealin', I finally got the Remington 870 Marine Magnum I've been searching for. Here's a couple crappy pictures.
  9. Based on a simple search of the model number, the prices I found were on average of $1,200. Some a little more, some a little less. That being said, I'm no expert. And based on the craziness (inflated prices), you could probably get a few hundred bucks more.
  10. You can carry any way you'd like--Just as long as it's not loaded.
  11. Doing it yourself is always an option. Wal-Mart sells Birchwood Casey gun blueing. If it were a more expensive gun, I may suggest going to a professional, but with a Rossi, do it yourself.
  12. That's one way to increase ones post count.
  13. The Onion: The only news source worth reading these days.
  14. Looks like the gun business is good. I guess it's time to trade the CDL for an FFL. Very nice stable of whips you've got there.
  15. No problem! Anytime!
  16. Not Hixon, but the Wal-Mart in Pulaski had about 800-1000 rounds of WWB 9mm, but being the nice guy that I am, I only took the last box of .45ACP. I left the 9mm to the guy who was standing next to me. I was there first, but I saw him drooling all over the 9mm, and I had just picked up about 500 round the other day. That was my good deed for the day.
  17. Congrats! At this point, be thankful to have a job/offer, period. So many folks who would love to find work, even if it meant moving. Like you said ATL isn't all that far from the Choo-Choo. Best of luck!

  20. Probably not, but I would like to have that option if I so decide.

    Go to Owl Hollow.
  22. I've seen plenty of crazy of prices, but I've still been able to find the items I want for very fair prices. Be patient, they are out there.
  23. Don't feel bad. Loud music, flashy lights and a crappy camera can fool most of us.
  24. I'm far from an expert, but they sure do look like F430's to me. What are they? EDIT: after watching it again, they appear to be F430 Spyders (convertible). Kit cars, maybe?
