  1. Welcome back. I'm glad to hear that things are turning around. A friend of mine is a realtor with RE/MAX, in the Manchester area, and it's been a rough year for her. So, it's not only your wife. Hope things pick up with her. Congrats on the new M&P.
  2. Congrats! I recently purchased my Mosin, and it's a real blast to shoot. Pun intended. I'm still trying to get a hang of the rear sight.
  3. Congrats! Very nice.
  4. That's good to hear, Mike. Congrats!
  5. Is Owl Hollow out of the question? I was invited there by another TGOer, and it seemed like a great place. The owner, Charlie, couldn't have been more kind. I can't say for sure, but I'd imagine we could work something out with him. It's a little drive for me (45 minutes-1 hour), but I think I'm gonna pay the $40 membership fee. Even if I only make it out there a handful of times this year, it will be well worth it.
  6. Hero Gear. Real easy to find. http://maps.yahoo.com/map?&q2=521%20S%20College%20St%20Winchester%20TN&mag=5&ard=1#mvt=m&lat=35.67116&lon=-86.341825&mag=5&zoom=10&q1=Nashville%2C%20tn&q2=521%20S%20College%20St%20Winchester%20TN&gid2=34859609
  7. It's a gun store. (615) 848-5060 5435 Miller Ln Christiana, TN Exit 89, I-24. Just outside of Murfreesboro.
  8. Rednecks with an AR and 1000 rounds of ammo. Congrats on the new EBR!
  9. Not always the case. Some spam will get blocked from even reaching your spam box.
  10. Some ISP's have spam filters that block emails from some websites. I know Comcast is one of them. You may want to use Yahoo or Gmail.
  11. Awww, come on. Don't sweat it. Trust me, if I can live with the heat from my Harley Milk thread, you've got nothin' to worry about.
  12. Now you can wear your very own Bubba belt buckle with pride.
  13. Get rid of that 'Live Strong' bracelet, and she'd be makin' a few bucks for baby forumla.
  14. Best I have certian resons for visiting my favorites. Bellshire Hardware - Nashville - Prices and Customer Service - I like dealing with Phil at Bellshire, because he gives you his best price right off the bat. None of that "I can get it at Joe Bob's Gun Shack for less, will you match/beat it." Not much of an inventory (because of location), but can order just about anything I've ever asked about. Super helpful and friendly. Hero Gear - Winchester - Inventory and Customer Service - Just walk in the door. The place almost speaks for itself. Inventory that you won't find at most places. Joe was a huge help during my AR Build. Very knowledgeable staff. Guns & Leather - Greenbrier - Inventory, Customer Service and Indoor Range - Another shop with a nice inventory. The staff has always treated me well, and the indoor range is a big plus. I don't really waste my time with the others in the Middle Tennessee area. I've tried just about all of them more than once, but they lack the abaility to keep me coming back, even if it's just to browse. Even though customer service is nice, I'm more interested in price and inventory. Admittedly, price is probably most important, and that's why I've spent so much with Bellshire Hardware. I'm willing to wait a few extra days for what I'm wanting. Others may be able to meet/beat his prices, but I'm not willing to ask for it. If I were an impulse buyer, some of the other shops that I choose not to visit may get more of my business, but when I walk into a gun shop, unless I'm just window shopping, I pretty well know exactly what I'm looking for. Walking into a gun shop, and walking out with a gun that I had no intentions of buying isn't really my style.
  15. Karma's a real b***h.
  16. Then you'll have to sticky a sticky to inform members to read the sticky about utilizing the current stickies. Or something like that.
  17. Maybe true, but I was only out $35 bucks, not $1000.
  18. That is great.
  19. Well, our power finally came back on sometime after midnight. I got tired of waiting, so I went to bed. No tornado, but lots of rain, hail and wind. Don't see any real damage. Just a few tree branches/limbs on the ground.
  20. With no darn power. Hope they get it turned back on soon. Tornado advisory for the next few hours, but things have calmed in the last 5 or 10 minutes.
  21. Yes. That is the best way to explain it. If you search around the Internet, you'll see that that's how most of the pro foam cutters/sculptures do it. Hot knife or Hot wire.
  22. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
