  1. I'm not surprised. I saw someone pay $120 for a 250 round Mega Pack of UMC 9mm. I got mine for $62/OTD at Academy, and I am pretty sure Wal-Mart is a few buchs cheaper. When you can find it, of course.
  2. It was about the same as it has been in recent months. There is a couple vendors (one, mainly) with a decent amount of ammo. Most of their ammo is priced higher than normal, but unlike Wal-Mart, Academy, etc, they actually had it in stock. As I stated in my earlier post, they were restricting certain calibers of ammo. They were only allowing you to 5 boxes on 9mm, but also required you to spend $50. I think they had 50 round boxes of 9mm WWB for about $14. They also had some other brands.
  3. I saw a couple of those "Thug Life" guys walking around the show, too. 70 degrees and a couple of them were wearing winter jackets like they just walked in from the frozen tundra. Anyone need some $40/50 round box of .380? How about the ammo guys who were restricting buyers to only 5 boxes of 9mm, but also required you to spend a minimum of $50.
  4. Man, I'm beyond ready for Ultra Widescreen 21:9 HDTV. Not available here in the US, but maybe one of these days. And, built-in ambient light behind the TV? That is freakin' sweet. Most people don't realize it, but a dim light behind your TV can make a big difference in your viewing experience.
  5. I have no idea how I'd be effected after the fact, but I can promise you one thing, pulling the trigger on someone who deserves it will be no problem. Inflicting severe pain and discomfort on someone has never bothered me in the slightlest. Now that I think about it, I've never lost any sleep over it. Then again, the end result was never death. I guess we'll find out if/when it happens.
  6. What? No tactical eggs, or tacical biscuits and gravy? Shame on CMMG.
  7. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  8. Yes, if you are carrying, your HCP must be on your person.
  9. You should have listened to Marswolf.
  10. Here's what I found. This is a very popular revolver here in Brazil. I.N.A. means Industria Nacional de Armas (National Arms Industry) and it became famous in the 60' for producing for the police, the INA Sub Machine Gun, in .45 ACP, that was a clone of the Madsen. (Very reliable, btw). They tried to make a revolver, with a reasonable price to the police, so they entered the revolver business. Their products were not well accepted, by the force, specially the .38's. Since we only had Taurus and Rossi, and imported revolvers were to expensive, the INAs, especially the .38, became very popular among security guards (not police) and civilians, that wanted to have a gun in house for an emergency, but never uses it... , or they were sold as "Saturday Night Specials" (we don't use the expression here, but we had he guns... ) The sad news are that here in Brazil, they are abundandt, and don't really worth something and DON'T EVEN TRY .357S ON IT !!! Not even +P... Hope it helps a bit, Regards, Andre Tiba - Brazil
  11. You're kidding, right? When Al Gore invented the Internet, he was sure to implement a No BS feature.
  12. Yes, people will spend money to see/hear her. Most classical singers aren't all that pretty, but many make big, big money. In a couple years, she'll have made more money than most of us will make in our lifetime. That genre of music is big money in certain areas. Not so much for the redneck in the mountians of Tennessee, but definately in places like New York, Chicago, and many cities all over the world.
  13. Man, that sucks. You have my number, so if there's anything I can do, let me know. I'm free all weekend.
  14. Nope. Thanks to CA and a few other searchable databases, it took just a matter of seconds to find out all kinds of useless information about you.
  15. I'm far from a lawyer, but there are laws against Cyber Stalking and Internet Harassment. This sounds like it could easily fit under at least one of those categories. I'm not sure the posting of the personal information you've described is technically "against the law", because it seems most of that information would be public record. As far as the pictures go, unless you've Trademarked or Copywritten those images, there's probably isn't much you can do about that. Best of luck. P.S. So, who are you? Don't make me search for it.
  16. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  17. I have 14 victories. What about the rest of you?
  18. I was able to stop by the party in Hendersonville for a few minutes. I wasn't able to stay all that long, but I was pleasantly surprised with the turnout. With a sick child and a good friends grandfather about to pass away at any minute, I wasn't able to hang out and get pictures, but to see all those supporters gathered for such a cause gave me hope that maybe one day the 2A supporters could do the same thing. Will it help? Who knows, but it sure as hell can't hurt. It made the national news, so at least they know we're out there.
  19. Congrats to the both of you!

  23. Cable and Internet.
  24. I'd imagine, with the combination of the 25mm round and shorter barrel, recoil is going to be pretty stout.
