  1. Actually, this is perfectly legal in the State of Tennessee. As long as you have proper documentation, you can legally transport a corpse.
  2. I knew it wasn't going to take long for this to hit the national news.
  3. Congratulations to the parents and grandparents.
  4. My father owned a moving company for several years, so I have experience. I would have rather had help, but no one was available at the moment, and I had just spend all my money on a safe, so I couldn't afford movers.
  5. 430 pounds and a few guys should be a piece of cake. I moved my 290 pound safe up to my old second floor apartment by myself with an appliance dolly.
  6. I got extremely lucky, and stumbled upon a smokin' deal on this rare beauty tonight. It's 1970's Jack Daniel's Gold Medal 10" Fancy Decanter. It's even more rare to find one with the stopper/shot glass (not the glass to the left of the decanter) intact. I have zero need for it, but couldn't pass up the deal.
  7. If your boss is buying new inexpensive guns from manufacturers/distributors for those who are on a limited budget, I would tell him to think about ditching the Cobra for Hi-Points. If I was on that kind of budget, I'd probably buy a Hi-Point before anything else offered in that price range.
  8. It's important to note that it's not unheard of for certain firearms to need a "break-in period". Some firearms may need 20-30 rounds, and some may need 100+. Also, some firearms are a bit more finicky when it comes the ammo. Some firearms perform better with certain brands or types of ammo than they do with others. I've had a firearm or two that were especially picky where hollow point ammo was concerned, but they would function flawlessly with just about any ball ammo I'd throw at it.    There are a lot of factors when dealing with certain firearms, and I'd imagine even more so when dealing with those on the low end of the price spectrum.
  9. After watching the video, I can see a few areas where the DDC is better than the GFG. I think GFG came up with the idea, and DDC improved upon it. Still not sure I like the need to mount it to the rail. I suppose it could be a good trade-off. I do love the idea. The price is a different story.
  10. The fact that the shooter doesn't need to un-shoulder the rifle to operate the charging handle is a bonus.
  11. I looked at the Gun Fighting Gear side charger a while back. Not sure if one is better than the other, but I do like the fact that the GFG version doesn't need to be mounted on the rail.
  12. Just received my Secret Santa package. Santa brought me a first responders bag, along with a Gerber knife. The bag couldn't have come at a much better time, because I was about to order something to use as a first-aid bag for the truck. And the knife, well, you can never have too many knives. It will definitely be put to good use. Santa, Thank you very much. Your gifts to me are greatly appreciated. I hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas. Thank you, again.
  13. I loved my Dan Wesson CBOB. Wish I would have never sold it. Not only did I love it,  the current selling prices seem to be at least a few hundred more than I paid for mine.
  14. I've had that happen a couple times. Now, after the transaction, I send them a PM thanking them for the smooth transaction, while also letting them know that I've left positive feedback for them. Even if they forget, this has worked well as a possible reminder.
  15. Another one. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/man-turned-super-soaker-water-gun-real-shotgun-cops-article-1.1082554
  16. I'd like to get by as cheaply as possible. I don't need concert quality, but decent sound quality would be nice. I have listened to a couple, and neither had a balanced sound. One was nothing but bass, and the other lacked any bass at all.
  17. I've considered buying an Android compatible Bluetooth speaker for the garage. I'm sure I could just go with something like a Bose and be just about guaranteed a quality product, but something like that is well over my budget. Anyone found a decent one that wouldn't break the bank.
  18. Guilty!  :hiding:
  19. You ain't seen nothin' yet.... https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCxMJ_USZSGDVSPqYoPKVEQA
  20. TGO is the best. End of story.
  21. Sorry to hear about this, Dave. My sincere condolences. If there is anything I/we can do, please don't hesitate to ask.
  22. OK. Scratch that. I'll be staying far away from Gordon's place. As a matter off fact, I've never even heard of Gordon. [emoji6]
  23. I'm not following you.
  24. Oh my! Based on a thread I saw recently, I need to spend a few days over at Gordon's place.
