  1. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  2. I don't have any full pictures of the Pete. Those pictures were taken in Oklahoma. That's where the bike is right now. I know the Pete was in a Show Truck calendar, but I can't seem to find any pictures online. I'll see if my father has some.
  3. It's stories like this that have kept me smart. I've never had the desire to be married, and thankfully my girlfriend has been understanding. Four years, and she isn't giving me a hard as of yet. If she starts to complain, it will be time to find a new one. Best of luck to you, buddy.
  4. There's a good chance. My father and a friend of his are bringing their bikes from Oklahoma, and they wanted to check it out. As long as everything goes well with the new engine, it should easily be finished before Memorial Day weekend.
  5. Thanks! This is a Kawasaki Vulcan Nomad 1500. Well, once the engine is installed it will be a 1500.
  6. Yea, I can't remember the name of the company, but those are aftermarket fenders. It's difficult to appreciate them in the picture. They have an awesome shape to them. A retro kind of look.
  7. Congrats and thank you for youe service.
  8. I bought the bike with a toasted engine. Another one is being shipped as I type. It should be ready for Memorial Day weekend. The bike isn't anything special, but I couldn't pass up the deal I got, so it will have to do for now. That's actually a customized Peterbilt in the background. My Uncle built it from the ground up. I'm not a fan of the color scheme, but that truck is bad to the bone. 625+ HP (825+ HP with the Pittsburgh Power Cat Box tuned up to level 7), 325" wheelbase, 5x4 (2 gear shifters) transmission......The list goes on and on. There is very little that's stock on the truck. It was probably the fenders that made you think Kenworth, but those aren't stock either.
  9. Anyone have an extra set of pedals I can borrow?
  10. Thanks for the info regarding the forum, Verne. I'll check it out.
  11. That's not far from me. So, they are close to Gooch's. I'll check them out. Anyone know what happened to Chrome-N-Stuff in Old Hickory? Did they move, or just shut down?
  12. Yea, I've done a little checking online and locally, and I can easily save $60+ on just the front tire if I buy online. Some of the stuff I really need to buy locally just to make sure it fits properly, but it looks like I can save a bunch of money buying a few things online.
  13. I'm needing a new helmet, a nice set of sunglasses for riding, and an Avon Venom front tire. I've never dealt with any shops around the Mid-Ten area, so I'm just looking for some input on places worth checking out.
  14. Anyone know of a good place to buy motorcycle helmets, glasses, etc in the Middle Tennessee area? I know I can go to any dealership, but wasn't sure if there was a place known for having good prices on their goodies. Also, anyone know if there's a forum for riders in the Tennessee area?
  15. How often to these type of attackers get busted? I would think it's not very often. With the economy as it is, I'm sure someone is willing to be a narc for $500. That's assuming it's someone who is/was related to the site. There are more than a few anti-gun nuts out there who'd like to see the likes of TGO shut down.
  16. I've used a cople different wheels, but generally use one that's made out of a felt type material. I think that's what it's made out of.
  17. Welcome to TGO! I checked out your site, but when I read something about filling a wiffleball bat with concrete to use as a weapon, I suddenly envisioned a 30-something guy playing World of Warcraft in him moms basement. Enjoy your stay!
  18. I use a Dremel and jewelers rouge. Any polishing compound should be just fine for polishing the feed ramp.
  19. That thing is fugly! And from what I've seen, they come with a $2,000+ price tage. I'll pass.
  20. Yep, there are other shops in the Mid-Ten area that should be able to beat just about anyone on price. If they're buying that much from the distributors to keep that kind of selection, they should be able to buy them cheaper than some of the smaller shops. On the other hand, Franklin Gun Shop is in a location that may require a higher overhead. It can't be cheap doing business in Franklin. Now, if shops of similar size/inventory are doing business in an old arse building in Hickerbillyville, USA, that's another story.
  21. Still waiting on a set of Troy BUIS.
  22. I've used plenty of Wolf, and never had any issues. Maybe a little dirtier than some, but if you clean your guns like any good gun owner should, I see no problem with it.
  23. Where exactly are they located on Central Pike? The hospital side of Old Hickory, or the other?
  24. So, are you a top or a bottom? I'm asking for Mike.357. I know, I was shocked to hear the news myself. Although I'm not much for OCing myself, I actually thought about doing it the other day. For the sake of comfort with the clothing I was wearing at the time.
  25. I know! I hate it when people force me to click on ther ammo threads. Please, don't make me do it! NO! NO! NO! NO! I don't wanna!
