  1. How often to these type of attackers get busted? I would think it's not very often. With the economy as it is, I'm sure someone is willing to be a narc for $500. That's assuming it's someone who is/was related to the site. There are more than a few anti-gun nuts out there who'd like to see the likes of TGO shut down.
  2. I've used a cople different wheels, but generally use one that's made out of a felt type material. I think that's what it's made out of.
  3. Welcome to TGO! I checked out your site, but when I read something about filling a wiffleball bat with concrete to use as a weapon, I suddenly envisioned a 30-something guy playing World of Warcraft in him moms basement. Enjoy your stay!
  4. I use a Dremel and jewelers rouge. Any polishing compound should be just fine for polishing the feed ramp.
  5. That thing is fugly! And from what I've seen, they come with a $2,000+ price tage. I'll pass.
  6. Yep, there are other shops in the Mid-Ten area that should be able to beat just about anyone on price. If they're buying that much from the distributors to keep that kind of selection, they should be able to buy them cheaper than some of the smaller shops. On the other hand, Franklin Gun Shop is in a location that may require a higher overhead. It can't be cheap doing business in Franklin. Now, if shops of similar size/inventory are doing business in an old arse building in Hickerbillyville, USA, that's another story.
  7. Still waiting on a set of Troy BUIS.
  8. I've used plenty of Wolf, and never had any issues. Maybe a little dirtier than some, but if you clean your guns like any good gun owner should, I see no problem with it.
  9. Where exactly are they located on Central Pike? The hospital side of Old Hickory, or the other?
  10. So, are you a top or a bottom? I'm asking for Mike.357. I know, I was shocked to hear the news myself. Although I'm not much for OCing myself, I actually thought about doing it the other day. For the sake of comfort with the clothing I was wearing at the time.
  11. I know! I hate it when people force me to click on ther ammo threads. Please, don't make me do it! NO! NO! NO! NO! I don't wanna!
  12. There's no money in guns. Just ask a gun dealer. Not a fan of engraving, but that is probably one of the nicest I've ever seen. Congrats!
  13. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  14. I'd suggest contacting the following: Guns & Leather - Greenbrier, TN The Outpost - Christiana, TN Hero-Gear - Winchester, TN --- Most likely to have one in stock, but I'd call before making that drive. I would also suggest looking online at Bud's Gun Shop. It's hard for many places to beat their prices. I've had great experiences with them. Sig Sauer Sig Arms SigArms Pistols
  15. Normal, I don't know. But I have heard enough similar stories which have kept me from ever buying a Kimber.
  16. A HCP badge AND a laser on you Glock?
  17. WOW! I'm surprised that hasn't sold by now.
  18. Sell your guns and give Phil at Bellshire Hardware a call. I honestly can't remember what I paid him for the one I bought from him, but it was quite a bit cheaper than anywhere else. I don't know that he does my trading, but I guess it wouldn't hurt to ask. Otherwise, keep an eye out here and on www.golsn.com. You may be able to work out a deal.
  19. I don't have any actual pictures, but I have a '99 Nomad 1500 just like this. Well, just like this, with the exception of the engine. Mine doesn't have one. I'm in the process of locating a 2001 or newer 1500 or 1600 engine for it. It wouldn't have been my first choice, but I got such a good deal on the bike with a toasted engine, I just couldn't pass it up.
  20. Congrats on the new Baby!
  21. That video was nothing more than a depiction of three ignorant douche-nozzles spewing factless rhetoric.
  22. I took my HCP course at the same place, and they tried to squeeze the $50 out of us, too. Along with shirts, hats, and even some BS gun safe thingy. They were a great bunch of guys, but I wasn't impressed with that aspect of the class.
  23. Yep! I've heard some people complain about BoA, but I've been with them for several years, and not a single issue. They even instantly credited my account almost $800 when I told them someone used my banking info to pay several cell phone bills.
  24. Yes, I use Bank of America, and that's how their ATM's work. The copy of the check actually shows up on the screen before it prints out. It's possibly more of a "scan" of the check, but all the same, you get a copy of the check on the receipt.
  25. I don't generally make deposits via the ATM machines, but the very few times I have, I was issued a receipt with the exact dollar amounts. If I deposit a check, a photocopy of the check is on the receipt. I would try the local branch manager, and if that didn't work, I'd do my best to get someone of authority at their corporate office. Once you've made the deposit (assuming you have proof of said deposit), it should be their problem.
