  1. Personally, I would change from 17/42 to 18/42. This should drop your RPM's by about 250-300. But that's just me. Making the changes you're looking for a doable, but probably at the cost of more power loss than I'd like. Based on the mileage, I would suggest buying a new rear sprocket (even if you decide to stay with 42) and chain at the same time. And yes, you'll likely need to change the chain length if going to a 40. Also, I'd stay away from aluminum sprockets. Here's a chart, so you'll get a general idea of what to expect. 17/42 - STOCK 55 mph - 3250 rpm 65 mph - 3750 rpm 75 mph - 4250 rpm 85 mph - 4750 rpm 18/42 (changing front sprocket) 55 mph - 3000 rpm 65 mph - 3500 rpm 75 mph - 4000 rpm 85 mph - 4500 rpm 18/40 (changing front and rear sprocket) 55 mph - 2800 rpm 65 mph - 3300 rpm 75 mph - 3800 rpm 85 mph - 4300rpm I would suggest this site Kawasaki Motorcycle Forums. There is TONS of info here.
  2. Some of the better prices I've found. I haven't used them, but I know that XDShooter did, and as far as I know, he had a good experience with them. The Possible Shop, Headquarters For Your Muzzleloading, Cowboy Action & Archery Supplies

  4. Generally, it's the baby birds making all the noise. You can wait a few more weeks until they are old enough to fly out on their own, or you can attempt to remove them yourself. The nest is likely on the top of the damper, so you may be able to reach up and pull it out by hand. If the flue is made of square or rectangle clay liners, there is also a chance the nest was built in one of the corners of the liner. Using a garden hoe or something similar may be an option to scoop them out. When I used to re-line chimneys, we would often run into this problem. We were almost always able to remove the birds without starting a fire, but you may have little option. Get on the roof with a good flashlight. You may be able to see them and work out a plan of action. Once you've removed the birds, a chimney cap is a good idea.
  5. Thank You! Happy Father's Day to all the Father's of TGO! Enjoy the range trip with your Father.

  7. Welcome to TGO, neighbor! Enjoy your stay!
  8. I refuse to listen to terrestrial radio. If it's not on SiriusXM, I'm not wasting my time. Howard Stern, Bubba The Love Sponge, and Jason Ellis are about the only talk radio shows I'll listen to.
  9. Only if they put this much effort into keeping the homeless/bums off Beale Street. I've visited that area only a few times, but everytime I have encountered more than a few vagrants begging for cigarettes, money, and even had one ask if he could have a sip of my alcoholic beverage.
  10. That's pretty darn amazing. Well, with the exception of the interviewer pointing a loaded gun at her.

  12. Using Rid-X septic system treatment is a good idea. You flush it down the toilet once a month. Easy and cheap.
  13. I'd be more than willing to pay far more than $.97/month extra if needed.
  14. Thank god for liquor stores and escort services. This makes bars obsolete.
  15. As an unbelievably happy customer of Sirius, I could care less if all of testicular radio disappears. Ten or fifteen minutes of actual content per hour is hardly worth listening, even if it's free to the listener. With companies such as Clear Channel going through bankruptcy, it's not likely they'll have the abilities to pay royalties.
  16. War is always the answer. But only if it's a long-drawn-out war. Heck, we can't manage a definitive answer to the wars we're already in. Another can't be a good thing.

  19. Man, I'm really glad to hear that. We really need to get together one of these days. I still owe you a handful of mags through my AR. It's no 458, but it's the best I can do at the moment.
  20. Beretta 93? Now there's some serious firepower. Was he packin' the shoulder stock, too?

Can't go wrong with a Ruger P-Series. They are built like tanks. Congrats.
  22. I purchased the same kit from Wal-Mart for an old rifle. It worked pretty good. It's not professional quality, but for $15 it was pretty nice. Anything is far better than what you have on your hands. It will only continue to get worse with time if you do nothing.
  23. I know you don't want to reblue, but I'm not sure you'll get around it. I'd suggest something like this: http://www.cabelas.com/link-12/product/0059402290405a.shtml It's not difficult at all.
  24. Stands are spoken for! I have 2 free target stands that I made out of 2X4's and plywood. These are very sturdy, and have only been to the range one time. I don't have measurements, but I'm guessing they are about 3 1/2'-4' tall, and roughly 3' wide. There are plywood backs for stapling your targets. They are big enough to attach multiple (4-6?) targets at one time. I have nowhere to store them, and I'd like to get them out my truck ASAP.
