  1. According to Handgun Carry Permit Reciprocity Information , that is not correct. Alabama does recognize TN HCP, however. You're still good-to-go.
  2. Those have strickj written all over them.
  3. This is personal, not business related.
  4. According to another thread/post/article, Ruby Tuesday's was not going to post. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/newsworthy-reports/23382-more-slanted-journalism-wate.html
  5. Yea, that looks like the best option so far.
  6. Yea, I looked there, but I'm missing the "free" part. I see the Search Felony Offenders section, and that's free. But I can't seem to find anything else that's free. I want to search for all criminal convictions, not just felonies.
  7. It's probably right in front of my face, but where do I go once at the link you've posted?
  8. Can anyone tell me the best way to run a background check on a resident of TN? I'm mainly interested in their criminal history, and would prefer to do this online and as cheaply as possible. Of course, I would like the most up-to-date and accurate information on this person, so if that would require a few more bucks, I'm game. I have her Name, Social Security Number, D.O.B., etc. Since I know this persons SS#, would I need to run 2 seperate checks for her maiden and married names, or would everything related to the SS# show up?
  9. I just noticed that LHBC has decided to cancel all programming this week on all three campuses to safeguard the health of our congregation and guests.
  10. Sorry! I knew I should have removed the .
  11. I heard some rumors about several children from Long Hollow Baptist Church contracting the Swine Flu virus while camping in the East Tennessee area, but I haven't heard or seen any mention of it on the local news. According to the LHBC website, Approximately 600 middle school students and adult staff and volunteers recently returned from the trip, and "several" have become very ill with flu-like symptoms. After doing a little searching, I found that several parents of students who attended the East Tennessee camp have confirmed their children did contract Swine Flu while at the camp. I haven't been able to locate any hard numbers, but two Sumner County residents are saying that there has been about 65 confirmed cases out of the roughly 600 members who attended the LHBC camp. Again, I don't know this to be factual, just what I heard from a couple folks who are fairly close to the ordeal. Anyway, I'm wondering why this hasn't made the local news. I honestly don't know if it's a huge deal, but they seem to make mention of isolated cases of Swine Flu that have been reported half-way across the country. Why not cases in our own backyard? Especially on what seems to be a fairly large scale.
  12. Very interesting. Barrel Life -- 2,500 rounds. Doesn't that seem a little on the low side?
  13. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!
  14. But did you hear about Billy Mays?

  16. People will ask those prices as long as people are willing to pay for it. Obviously some are still more than willing to do so.
  17. is right. It's a toss-up, and really a matter of what YOU like best. Both are of great quality, so your preference is all that really matters. There are plenty of both out there, so it would be best to find someone who's willing to give you the chance to shoot both.
  18. Any pictures? It kinda depends on what you mean by "very good condition". They are pretty rare, and worth a pretty penny. Without seeing it, I would guess somewhere around $1000, give or take.
  19. I thought about getting into HAM, but I've yet to figure out how to work all the buttons and knobs on my CB.

    NEED HELP!!

Based on the information you've given, there should be no issue obtaining your TN HCP.
  21. It's amazing this guy can find work that has anything to do with firearms. I guess everyone decided to chalk it up as a loss and a lesson learned. If someone scammed me for several hundred, I'm not sure I'd be quite so pleasant about the matter.
  22. Even nicer to know. Thanks for that info, too.

Make sure to say goodbye to Jeff The Drunk before you leave.
  24. That's interesting. I didn't know that. Now I have a reason never to shop there.
  25. Has anyone attempted to collect their money through the courts? If he owns anything, what about placing a lein against everything he owns?
