American Eagle 5.56 Green Tip Ammo Panic
TripleDigitRide replied to Will's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
EXCLUSIVE: Common AR-15 Green Tip Ammunition Already Banned in New ATF Regulation Guide On Friday February 13 at 4:00 pm, the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms released a proposal to ban commonly used M855 "green tip" AR-15 ammunition under the guise of law enforcement safety. The same day the proposal was released, on a Friday of a three day holiday weekend, ATF opened up a shortened 30-day period for the public to submit comments about the new regulation. But it turns out, ATF has been working on a ban of AR-15 "green-tip" ammunition for quite some time and has already issued the ban in its new, 2014 Regulation Guide. For reference, ATF Regulation Guides come out approximately every ten years. When you take a look at the 2005 ATF Regulation Guide, you'll see an exemption for AR-15 "green-tip" ammunition, which means it exempted from the definition of "armor piercing" and therefore is legal on the federal level. While it appears to have worked on a stationary object, will it work on a moving object? Either way, it's a cool advancement in weapons technology. -

BOTH ITEMS HAVE BEEN SPOKEN FOR! EDIT: Cherokee Slim has taken the press. EDIT: otnman has taken the magazines. As the title states, I'm giving these items away to the next to people who sign up for a Benefactor subscription. The first person to show proof of purchase will get first pick. If we cannot arrange for local pickup, I will ship on my dime. First item is a Lee reloading press. It appears to have be used very little. Second item(s) are two Ram-Line 10/22 - 77/22 magazines. One is a 50-round, and the other is a 20-round.

As I just mentioned in a previous post, I just purchased my very first camera and downloaded Photoshop + Lightroom. I haven't attempted Photoshop, but I have toyed around with Lightroom a bit. Nothing like the quality we've seen above, but here are a few of my first shots and attempts at playing with Lightroom.

DUDE! You are my hero. That is some amazing work. I just bought my very first camera (Sony A6000) and downloaded Photoshop + Lightroom. I have very little idea how to use any of them, but I aspire to be like you.

This is why you NEVER reach for a gun that's falling.

Are you a member of the Hendersonville Camera Club?

There are full-frame sensors and crop sensors. There are a few differences, but the larger full-frame sensors will allow you to create larger prints. Cameras with full-frame sensors are quite pricey, as they are geared more towards professionals. I recently decided to get a bit more serious about photography. After a ton of research, I decided to go with the mirrorless Sony A6000. It has a crop sensor. Lenses aren't cheap, and while they make adapters that allow you to use one brand of lens on cameras of a different brand, it would be a good idea to consider this before buying a newer camera. Most of the cheaper adapters don't allow you to utilize auto focus and other features, but if you plan on shooting mostly in manual mode, that won't be much of an issue.

I would suggest contacting these folks: http://columbiadailyherald.com/sections/news/local-news/proposed-shooting-range-draws-ire.html http://www.timesfreepress.com/news/local/story/2014/mar/25/residents-seek-halt-to-lookout-valley-gunfiresuit/135252/ http://www.wsmv.com/story/23494338/gun-range-responds-to-noise-safety-complaints-from-neighbors I'm sure there are others, but these are the few that came to mind.

No problem. There are many variables. A lot depends on the equipment you plan on using, where you plan on hauling to and from, the gross weight, type of cargo, etc. Give these folks a call. They can walk you through the process. http://www.fmcsa.dot.gov/contact-us

Awesome pic. How long you been a flight attendant?

Also, Tennessee is one of several states that require you get a state DOT in addition to the federal DOT number.
-
9 If you plan on operating under your own authority, you will need an MC, FF, or MX number in addition to your DOT number. If you lease your truck on with an existing company, you will operate under and use their MC number. The type of drivers license will be determined by the weight you will be hauling. Based on the equipment you mentioned, you'll possibly get by with a regular DL. The DL requirements usually boil down to the GCVW. You will need semi licence plate for your trailer, assuming you be going out of state. Before you get too deep, check into the cost necessary insurance. It won't be cheap.

Roads are covered in sleet and ice in Springfield.

Yep! Between the background checks for Hazmat endorsements and the ever-increasing medical card restrictions, being a truck driver is quickly turning into a giant pain in the ***.
