  1. +1 Zillion for TNT Performance Dyno! Got my bike back today, and boy does this thing run better. I thought it was running pretty well, but he was able to get me 4 extra HP and 6.5 ft/lbs of torque. Doesn't seem like much, but it made a very noticeable difference. It even sounds better. I'm anxious to see how much of an increase I'll see on my fuel mileage. I suspect I'll see an extra 5-8 mpg.
  2. No, I sure haven't. I just heard that Cheap Trick did an entire album of Beatles music. The few clips I was able hear soinded pretty darn good.
  3. Added in Hendersonville.
  4. That very well could be an option. Thanks! I saw that video, but that stock was solid wood, and this stock is hollow synthetic. The screw holes go in several inches, so I don't think it will be a problem to shorten it. I'll probably need to reshape the recoil pad a bit, but that's OK.
  5. My neighbor purchased a Mossberg Maverick 12 ga. for home protection. While at the store, she insisted the fit was comfortable. Well, after a trip to the range today, it didn't take her long to realize she was wrong. If the stock was just a few inches shorter, the fit would be great. My question is, do they make a youth-sized stock for the Maverick? I thought about cutting the current stock down a few inches, but then what about the recoil pad? Would I be able to find one that will fit the new contour of the stock? After removing the recoil pad, it appears I may be able to cut a few inches off, and could possibly still be able to use the screw hols inside the stock. I've seen some of the adjustable tactical stocks, but I'm trying to make this as cheap on her as possible. Anyone have any ideas?
  6. Oh, I didn't realize you may be looking for a sport bike. If you do decide on one, maybe an 1100cc+ isn't a good idea. I was thinking more along the lines of a cruiser. If you set your mind to a sport bike, even a 900 is probably more than enough. Although, you may want to talk to some guys who actually ride them. I'm a cruiser guy. There are some folks who were more than happy to buy a 500cc-650cc as a first bike, but I know far too many that have regreted buying such a small first bike.
  7. Personally, I wouldn't buy anything less that 750cc-900cc, leaning closer to the 900. As a matter of fact, I'd probably look for something closer to 1100cc-1200cc. You'll be surprised how fast you'll be ready for something a little bigger. Here is a list of bikes on Chattanooga's Craigslist between $3000-$4000. classifieds - craigslist
  8. What kind of money are you looking to spend?
  9. You people are gonna force me to buy a good camera. I'm on my Treo, but the photo looks great. Very nice.

You are not alone. I'm sure there are more than a few other TGO members who've been in a similar situation. Thanks for sharing.
  11. Yea, I saw that, too. They were talking about Sodolak's in Snook, TX.
  12. Ah, gotcha. That makes sense. One of these day, when I can stick with one hobby, I'll have another P220. I really hated to sell mine, but my evil motorcycle made me do it.
  13. Unless you just got one hell of a deal on the NIB P220, why didn't you just buy a P220 with the SRT trigger and night sights from the factory?
  14. Welcome to TGO! Enjoy your stay!

  16. Still have room for plenty more.
  17. I used to race dirt track when I lived up North, and I was one of only two guys who were able to reach 100+ mph on that track. When it came time for me to race, everyone would comment on how it was time for me to go for a Triple Digit Ride. It kinda stuck.
  18. High dynamic range
  19. The Louisville Zoo is clearly and properly posted at the ticket counter.
  20. WOW! That's pretty darn cool. Wish I knew how to do stuff like that.
  21. The Lorikeet exhibit was quite interesting, too. You can buy ($2) a small cup of nectar and go inside the enclosure with about 20 of these birds. Once you're inside, you simply hold the small cup of nectar in front of you, and the birds start landing on you to drink from the cup. It only took a couple of minutes for them to finish the nectar in the cup. Obviously this little fella didn't get his fair share. And my sweat must have been the next best thing. It was a little funny and gross at the same time.
  22. We made the trip to the Louisville Zoo, today. It's far, far better than the Nashville Zoo, IMHO. We took tons of pictures, but this little dude was great. He was King of Meerkat Mountain.
