That is an epic fail in my book. Not very well thought out. Being 18, he probably won't realize what a mistake he made until the first black guy shoots him for walking around with a swastika on his arm. No one is going to notice that "slash".

Based on the weather forcast I just watched on channel 5, there is a storm cell slighty to the west of our intended route. Once it passes, they are calling for partly sunny/partly cloudy skies, with scattered showers throughout the day. What does everyone think?

Sounds good to me, but it's not looking good. These storms seem to be coming from nowhere. I looked on the radar a while ago, and didn't see any storm cell that would cause this 4 hour rain that we've been getting in Hendersonville.

Anyone watch the first episode? Admittedly, I'm more interested in seeing what Kimbo Slice can or can't do than anything else. But that fight last night was brutal. In general, the fight sucked. There's wasn't much of a fight, but the gallons of blood made it all worth while. The blood was POURING from the gash in Big Abe's head. I was watching in HD, and you could see the steady steam of blood pooring out as if someone had turned on the faucet. Both guys were covered in Big Abe's blood. That doesn't sound too bad. I have wasted $30/day on a lot less. I thought about getting involved with hunting, but all the existing hunters who can't find a decent place to hunt has kept me away. If they can't find a decent place, I probably would have less luck. I'm sure you'll fill the spots. Happy hunting.

Ok, I take back the part about not seeing a single rain drop today. It is now raining here.

Well, not sure what's going to happen. Still a 50% chance of rain. That was the same thing they said for today, and I didn't see a single rain drop during my travels throughout the Middle Tennessee area today. Based on the current radar, I don't see any storm systems moving in this direction (based on local news stations) for tomorrow. I guess something could pop up, but I see nothing on the radar, except scattered storms in Arizona. If enough people are still willing to ride, even if we were to encounter a brief shower or two, I'm game. Looks like we'll know more later tonight or first thing in the morning.

The chance of rain is lingering around 50%. It appears that many have decided not to make the run if there is rain. If there chance of rain happens to drop as low as 20%-30%, would anyone be willing to make the ride, or would it still be a no-go? Just trying to get a general idea before the last minute gets here.

I rode the bike to work this morning. I hit a 1/2 mile stretch of rain on the way in, but the ride home was a whole different story. I'm thankful for my rain suit (only wore the jacket) and the new Bates boots.

A female friend of mine -- who had never fired a gun until she fired 20 rounds through my XD last week -- easily passed the HCP class this weekend at Guns & Leather. No worries.

I've only soent about 100 miles on the Trace, but I didn't see any LEO's, and it didn't appear too many people were paying much attention to the speed limit. We had guys/gals passing us from the other direction in a complete blur, and even a handful of riders from behind that had no issue crossing into the other lane to pass us. I don't honestly recall the speed limits, but I think the speed limit increased to 50-55 after the initial 10 miles or so of curves. The local news stations are now calling for 40%-50% rain on Saturday. It keeps fluxuating. I guess we'll make the final call on Friday night?

Kudos for coming up with such an extremely neat contraption, yet equally as dangerous. But hey, they probably said the same thing about firearms at their invention.
