  1. If anyone is interested, I found this helpful site. Local Harvest / Farmers Markets / Family Farms / CSA / Organic Food It lists tons of farms, co-ops, farmers markets, etc in your area. I've been able to find beef, fruits & vegetable, chicken, eggs, lamb, farms very close to Hendersonville. I could only find one all-natural beef farm listed in my area, but if I understand their site correctly, the won't be selling any more beef until May. Being a Yankee, I had no idea they didn't sell beef year-round. That's interesting. There's also a wait on the fruits and vegetable, for obvious reasons.
  2. Congrats! I recently got a Palm Pre. I love it. Enjoy!
  3. I haven't spoken with my mother in about 8 years. The decision would be rather simple for me.
  4. No first-hand experience, but a friend who tried them only lasted 2 months. His main complaints: -Accessing the Internet sucks. -Customer Service was often difficult to reach, and were nearly worthless when you could. He said it would often take upwards of 30 minutes to get someone on the phone. Listening to their broken English was a bigger pain that the crappy service, he said. -Service was not very good in rural areas. -Text messages would often be very slow or never get delivered. -And like someone else mentioned, he quickly got sick of all the ghettoness, like their phones were marketed for 15-year-olds.
  5. Anyone ever shopped at Whole Foods? Any reviews? I would rather buy locally, if possible. I'm more or less trying to see about buying foods that don't contain pesticides, antibiotics, hormones, etc.
  6. Not sure if I can do this long-term, but I'm thinking about trying only organic foods, or as much as I can. Are there any places (stores/farmers/etc) that sell all/mostly organic foods? Fruits, vegetables, beef, chicken, fish, etc?
  7. This documentary really makes me dislike capitalism as we know it. Some of what was in this film I would think is common knowledge, but there was also plenty of startling information, too. Who in their right mind would even consider being a farmer? For those who've not yet seen this documentary, here is the trailer. I watched Food, Inc on On-Demand.
  8. All info has been sent to TGO David. I'm sure he'll update your status as soon as he gets a chance.
  9. Easy as that. Consider it yours. Enjoy!
  10. It's that time again. Same as the first time.
  11. Tiger Woods Seriously Injured in Car Crash in Florida - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com Golf great Tiger Woods was seriously injured in a car accident in Florida early Friday morning, according to MyFoxOrlando.com. Woods, 33, is in the hospital in very serious condition after a single-car crash at 2:25 a.m. in which he hit a fire hydrant and then a tree, the Florida Highway Patrol said. The crash is under investigation and charges are pending. Woods pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community when he struck the hydrant, the Orlando Sentinel reported, citing the FHP. He then plowed into the tree on his neighbor's property. He was taken to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla. Woods was apparently traveling under 33 mph because the Cadillac Escalade's airbags didn't inflate, the FHP told the Sentinel.
  12. I also found this. Not sure if it will help, but may be worth a shot.
  13. This may help. http://stevespages.com/pdf/ithaca_3787.pdf
  14. Based on what I've read on the Internets, this seems to be a very common issue with just about all short-barreled 1911's. I've always liked the idea of a compact 1911, but heard/read far too many similar stories. As others have suggested, sending the EMP back to SA is probably a good idea, but I have a feeling you'll be getting rid of it anyway.
  15. Double post
  16. I put an RRA NM 2-Stage trigger in my AR and loved it.
  17. Since my closest family members live roughly 500 miles away, I went to my girlfriends Grandmother's for Turkey Day. Man, what a spread. No way i could remember the entire menu, but I'll give it a shot. Turkey Ham Broccoli, rice and cheese casserole Dressing Sweet potato casserole Asian Slaw Rolls Mac-n-Cheese Chicken-n-Dumplins Turnip greens Fried sweet corn light bread Mashed potatos Deviled eggs Corn on the cob Cranberry salad Green beans Peach Cobbler - Made by yours truly Peach and apple pie Apple pie Pumpkin squares Sugar cookies Strawberry pretzel salad Chocolate fudge pie And another pie that I can't remember
  18. Not his greatest, but it's fitting for today.
  19. I have made a few purchases with Bud's -- all were very smooth. My latest purchase was a DW CBOB, and they couldn't have been more helpful. I didn't have any issue with getting someone on the phone when I had questions before and during the transaction. I sent them an email requesting some info, and someone responded via email at nearly 10:00 PM. Business is booming for them, so I'm not surprised you are having issues as you've described. I, too, get very frustrated when I need/want to talk to someone right away, but am forced to wait. Sounds like they need to hire a few extra hands.
  20. Thank You! Happy Thanksgiving to all!
  21. Some people want a fancy motorhome to travel the country, not me. I ever manage to have that kind of money to throw around, that's what I'll be touring in. I'd probably splurge for a 100"+ sleeper just for kicks.
  22. Since practicality isn't what we're lookin' for, I'll take one of these.
