  1. Probably not how I would have dealt with the situation, but Kudos for not simply brushing it off. Then again, I've had more than one person tell me how mean I am for returning my daughters Christmas gifts to the stores, due to the fact that she got an "F" on her report card. There's a little more to the story, but that was the last straw.
  2. Being politically correct is way overrated. Merry Christmas!
  3. A War on Gangs? I see no point in starting another war that we can't, won't, or have no intentions of winning.

  5. That was my first thought.
  6. I love me some water. I have one of those 5-gallon office-sytle water coolers in my crib.

  8. Sources tell TMZ Brittany Murphy's mom discovered her unconscious in the shower. Read more: http://www.tmz.com/#ixzz0aGVQo40N
  9. No mention of them on their website.
  10. Brittany Murphy died early this morning after she went into full cardiac arrest and could not be revived, multiple sources tell TMZ. She was 32. A 911 call was made at 8:00 AM from a home in Los Angeles that is listed as belonging to her husband, Simon Monjack, the Los Angeles City Fire Department tells TMZ. We're told Murphy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center where she was pronounced dead on arrival. Murphy starred in such films as "Clueless," "8 Mile," and "Don't Say a Word." Story developing ... 11. Not everyone likes to use these, nor are they necessary, but you may want to take a look. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/trading-post-notices-faqs/8-suggested-form-face-face-firearms-sale-transfer.html
  12. I figured I wasn't 100% sure how it worked. Thanks for the clarification. I'd really have to trust someone a whole lot to go the route you've explained. Handing a stranger several thousand dollars and walking away without the merchandise would make me very uneasy for quite some time. How much does it cost to involve an FFL in such a transaction?
  13. No credit needed. I'm sure I wasn't the first one. I'm just thankful that I'm able to help someone, even in such a small way.
  14. Ignore and delete the email. Read EVERYTHING at this link to understand why. http://www.snopes.com/politics/guns/blairholt.asp
  15. I didn't want to muddy the waters too much, but I thought I'd throw that out there, just in case. I don't know much about those type of transactions.
  16. No worries. I'm sure he had every intention of bringing along the rubber glove and KY.
  17. Just to clarify, and someone with real knowledge of this may want to chime in, but if the firearm is one that needs to be registered (Short Barrel Rifle - barrel under 16", Short Barrel Shotgun - barrel under 18", Automatic - more than one round fired with one pull of the trigger, Etc), I'm pretty sure you'll need to go through an FFL.
  18. No FFL needed if the transaction takes place in TN and both parties are TN residents.
  19. It never lasts long. Very nice gesture.
  20. Anything #4 Buckshot and larger is probably the most common. Persoanlly, I have my 870 loaded with (2) 00 Buck, (2) 000 Buck. and (2) Slugs.
  21. There are several places, but here's one. GlockWorld.com: T.H.E Accessories Parts T.H.E. Accessories Magazine Release Assembly, MRS120BRS
  22. I have no idea of any issue you may have gotten yourself into, but as far as I'm concerned, it takes some real guts to come on TGO and man-up about your faults. This place can sometimes be brutal, but in the end, I think most of us have sincere care for each other. Sounds like you're fully aware of the mistakes you've made, and are now in the process of picking up the pieces. Most of us have been there, so I'm sure most can empathize with what you must be going through. I've only had one dealing with you in the past, and it was nothing but pleasant. If there is anything we can do to help you along in this process, please don't hesitate to ask.
  23. Leave it to the 'newer' guy to find that list. Thanks!
  24. Yes, mine has a cover. It's a thin piece of metal covered in cloth-type material.
  25. I could be wrong, but I think TGO Staff may be a TGO User ID created by David. I noticed the same thing as you; some forums list only TGO Staff as the Moderator, and some list actual Moderators along with TGO Staff.
