  1. Yea, that was my point. I guess it's somewhat difficult to convey sarcasm via the Interwebz without using the icons.
  2. That is an awesome idea. I've often thought about doing something like that, too.
  3. Of course we will tolerate it -- just like we always do. We'll simply continue to tell ourselves that there is always another election. That plan seems to have been working great thus far.
  4. With a User ID like that, one would think you'd know better.
  5. Congrats! A co-worker of mine just received one as a Christmas gift from her husband. Even with the magazine extension the grip was too short for my big paws. That's the only thing keeping me from seriously considering the purchase.
  6. Those are the videos I used. No, the Ruger Mark II isn't as simple as most, but I didn't find it nearly as difficult as some made it sound.

  8. Clarksville Man, In Underwear, Kills Deer - Nashville News Story - WSMV Nashville CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. -- A Clarksville man, wearing only boxers and sandals, has bagged a deer, finishing a kill some other hunter failed to complete. The Leaf-Chronicle quoted Joel Borden who said his friends are making a "big deal" of his hunting attire and his weapon -- a stick. Borden said he was fixing a cup of coffee in his kitchen Saturday morning when he saw the wounded deer stumble into his back yard. He went outside and the deer ran into nearby woods with Borden in pursuit. Borden said he knocked the deer unconscious with a tree limb, then cut its throat. The result was a refrigerator full of venison. Dale Grandstaff with the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency says the agency often gets calls from people who find wounded deer that hunters failed to track and kill.
  9. I have owned a PS3 for quite some time, and never play games. I bought it for the built-in Blu-Ray player, and figured it would be nice to have the ability to play games if I really had the desire. I have no experience with any of them for gaming, but the PS3 works great for watching Blu-Rays.
  10. Thanks for the input, everyone. I had alway been under the impression that Cherokee was similar to The Hermitage Steak House -- one of my favorites. Based on all I've heard today, that is not the case. I guess I should have done a little more research, rather than waiting until the last minute to get some reviews. Because of other plans for the evening, eating in Nashville wasn't really an option. We decided to slum it and settle for Logans. Not my favorite (no Prime Rib during the week), but she happens to love it.
  11. Looks like Cherokee is out. For some reason I was under the impression it had a nicer atmosphere.
  12. I was also thinking about Woody's Steakhouse on Gallatin Rd.
  13. Well, my thoughts, exactly. But, we both know how some people get pissed about any little thing, then decide to fabricate poor reviews. I was hoping someone with firsthand knowledge would be able to give an honest opinion. And I am open to other suggestions. Looks like I may have to travel closer to Nashville.
  14. Anyone ever been there? What are your thoughts on the place? Today is my girlfriends birthday, and was trying to find a steakhouse other than the everyday chain-types. Something near the Hendersonville/Rivergate/Gallatin areas would be nice, but I'm open. I've read several reviews about Cherokee Steak House & Marina, but they've been fairly mixed. Many complaints about the wait, quality of food, and even something about being filthy and smelling of mildew.
  15. You can buy a Real Doll for $5,000, and never have to listen to her talk.
  16. Florida Man Allegedly Shot Boy With Pellet Gun to Teach Him a Lesson - Local News | News Articles | National News | US News - FOXNews.com FORT PIERCE, Fla. — A St. Lucie County man has been accused of trying to teach a boy a lesson by shooting him with a pellet gun. According to a St. Lucie County Sheriff's Office arrest report, 39-year-old Christopher Fred Cady shot the boy in the chest with the pellet gun, a Christmas gift, after the child shot an autistic cousin with the gun. Cady reportedly was trying to show the boy that getting shot with a pellet gun can hurt. According to online records, Cady was booked into St. Lucie County jail Friday. He was charged with cruelty toward child without great harm and was being held on $500 bond. It's unclear if he already has an attorney. Cady was also charged with violating sex offender laws by failing to report a name or residence change.
  17. With an Academy Sports and Outdoors directly across the the street from the Dick's in Rivergate, I have no reason to ever set foot in Dick's. I don't know about the rest of their locations, but the Rivergate Academy Sports has been keeping a fairly plentiful stock of ammo in most calibers -- except the illusive .380. But they do sometimes have a handful of boxes of that from time to time. I've always found their prices to be fairly close to those you'd find at Wal-Mart.
  18. I always take extra ammo -- 50 rounds or so. Just make sure your firearms, magazines, ammo, etc is legal wherever you'll be traveling.
  19. No worries, Voldemort is going to straighten everything out.
  20. Deja Vu all over again...and again...and again...and again.....
  21. Thought I understand your anger and frustration, it's probably not the best idea to post such threats on an Internet forum for all to see. Hope they catch the scumbags.
