  1. Yes, I'm running XP. I already use Malwarebytes and CCleaner on a daily basis. I disabled the Antivirus program, but that didn't seem to make a difference. I'll check out combo fix.
  2. I built the PC about 6 years ago. Comcast cable internet connection @ 6 megs. Upload and download speeds appear to be within spec. Attempted running the program with virus protection disabled, no difference. I'm going to try to find someone who may have some 1GB RAM sitting around and willing to let me try it out to see if that is the problem. I'd hate to drop $100+ only to find out it's not going to solve my problem.
  3. I'm thinking about upgrading to 2 sticks of 1024MB (2GB), PC3200 DDR, 400MHz for a spare PC. That would be exactly double of what's in there now. I'm wondering how much difference I can expect to see by simply upgrading the RAM. The spare PC seems to operate pretty well for basic use. However, I was trying to play Full Tilt Poker online (for play money), but there seems to be enough lag that I can't join a tournament before it's full. The spare PC is also equipped with an Intel Celeron CPU 3.33GHz. It's a few years old, but I don't think this is much of an issue. If anyone happens to have a couple extra sticks of functioning 1024MB, PC3200 DDR, 400MHz sitting around collecting dust, I may be interested.
  4. I've looked everywhere and don't see any drain hose. I've looked uner the dash on boyh sides, under the hood on both sides, and under the car on both sides. I don't see a drain hose, nor a place where a drain hose should be.
  5. is this drain hose under the hood or dash? Metal or rubber? How big? I'm looking, but can't find the drain hose. I let the car run and see water dripping on the ground near the drivers side, but can't locate where it's coming from. I'm probably looking in the wrong place.
  6. Ah, I see what you mean.
  7. I can view TGO on my Palm Pre, and it appears just as it does on my PC. Maybe there is something, but I haven't found anything I can't do on TGO while on my phone that I can do while on my PC.
  8. Sounds like my kinda guys. Leave me alone until I start asking questions.
  9. The drain will be on or near the firewall, under the hood, correct?
  10. And a great majority is not made in the USA.
  11. 2003 Chrysler Sebring When running the A/C, water/condensation leaks into drivers floorboard. Any ideas what the cause may be? Thanks in advance.
  12. I was in the Rivergate/Madison Wal-Mart a couple weeks ago. They had a zillion boxes of 9mm and .40, and I didn't notice any signage indicating a limit.
  13. I want to take a moment to thank Joe at Hero Gear again for the vests. I'm not suggesting that Joe and Hero Gear deal in junk, but the vests he donated to our cause are of far better quality than I had expected. We could have easily gotten by with far cheaper vests than these from 5.11 tactical. Huge props to Joe for being so generous. We greatly appreciate your kindness generosity.
  14. Yeah, I was amazed. I've seen some pretty amazing storms when I was an over-the-road truck driver, but not sure anything was quite that bad.
  15. A massive sale. I don't have many details. They may have officially closed shop by now. Not sure how long they planned on having this sale.

  17. I enjoy visiting "downtown" Bell Buckle, even when it's not time for the festival. Many interesting shops, and some of the best ice cream and fudge in these parts.
  18. I would suspect that shipping them to Alaska would be your best option, possibly your only option.
  19. Firearms are not permitted in LP Field at any other time, so if I had to guess, I would say they are not permitted for the car show.
  20. Man in wheelchair faces charges after allegedly shooting duck at Kingsport skate park - Kingsport Times-News Online KINGSPORT - A 50-year-old man in a wheelchair -- who police said "admitted to taking several types of medications" -- has been arrested after allegedly shooting a duck at the Kingsport skate park. The report says Hutson told the officer he had shot a duck in the creek behind the skate park. Police say the gun was loaded and contained one shell that had not been fired. Hutson, who "admitted to taking several types of medications," was arrested and charged with reckless endangerment and going armed.
  21. These are videos of a recent hail storm in Oklahoma City. May 16, 2010. This first video starts to get good (or bad) at roughly 1:00-1:15 This shows damage to the vehicle of a local news crew.
  22. Our sign is located about half-way between mile markers #4 and #5. I just got off the phone with our TDOT Rep, and she said our section would start at our sign and continue for 2 miles fromt hat point.
  23. This is a big weekend for graduations, so I'm not surprised. We've been forced to put it off for several weekends, I guess another week or two isn't going to kill us.
  24. Hey! At least they were once offered to most of you folks. David couldn't find a tent and awning company to make shirts big enough for my fat self. I've been waiting for the opportunity to buy some shirts from TGO and Hero-Gear, but my plumpness has prevented me from doing so. I know, I know..I should simply lose some weight.
