  1. I saw one of these at Academy Sports & Outdoors. They are $70 more expensive than the "Plain Jane" LCP.
  2. Original story: http://www.newschannel5.com/story/17136115/two-charged-in-connection-with-attempted-murder Follow-up story: http://www.newschannel5.com/story/17403187/hendersonville-man-cleared-of-charges
  3. Yeah, I'm far from an expert, but it sounded more than a little excessive. No, he's not terminally ill. He did suffer some nerve damage from an accident several years ago, but he's hardly in need of those amounts of drugs. He can walk, drive, go out and play poker on a regular basis. He's been taking four or more of the Oxy's per day for a while now. He told the doctor that they weren't working that well, so the doctor at the pain management clinic cut the Oxy's from 120 down to 90, then gave him the 60 Morphine on top of that to see if they would help.
  4. Awesome! I spent some time in the swamps of Louisiana where fishing with yo-yo's is big. It was nothing to catch catfish upwards of 50-60 pounds on a very regular basis. The biggest problem was getting the fish out of the water before the giant turtles ate them whole. We pulled a 200 pound turtle out of the swamp. We had to tow to the dock with the boat. Once in shallow water, the turtle planted itself on the bottom. We had to pull it out of the water with a Chevy Luv pickup truck.
  5. The bigger the bait, the bigger the fish.
  6. You must have girly hands. I kid, I kid. Where is the slide stopping? All the way open?
  7. This doesn't surprise me. A friend of mine took his roommate to one of the "pain clinics" yesterday morning. He walked out with a prescription for 90 Oxycontin and 60 Morphine. You'd think he was dying or something. I can't help but wonder if those places are little more than legalized drug dealers.
  8. According to LEO's involved in the case, he will be charged, so says CNN.
  9. Yes, I should have mentioned that. I've tried it twice, but neither FFL's would accept shipment from an individual, so I actually forgot that was a possible option.
  10. You'll want to make sure both FFL's know to be expecting the shipment. The shipping FFL will need the receiving FFL's information prior to shipping.
  11. He would have to take it to an FFL in his area, pay to have them ship it to an FFL in your area. I'm pretty sure you'll have to also pay for and go through a background check when picking it up. The same thing would need to be done when you send it back to him.
  12. If you both live in Tennessee, you can ship it directly to each other. If he's out of state, both of you are required to ship/transfer through FFL's.
  13. Based on his criminal history, he should have been locked away long ago.
  14. Too bad it's at Uselton's.
  15. No way to top Larry Fine. That is awesome!
  16. Welcome to TGO, TN and gun ownership. Make yourself at home and enjoy your stay.

  18. Do we receive any type of alert to let us know someone has posted a question to out ad?
  19. Zimmerman passed a voice stress test (similar to polygraph/lie detector). That can't be good for a court case.
  20. Yeah, not a fan of the safety.
  21. Details?
  22. I've seen plenty of blue 882's go for around the $150 mark. The scope is likely cheap, so I wouldn't add too much for that.
  23. If the 882 is stainless, that sounds like a decent deal. If not, sounds high to me. That's unless the scope is a fairly expensive model.
  24. $200 for the Cobray is about $120 +/- too high.
  25. He doesn't look like a Bubba.
