  1. I took mine through a group at the Williamson County Sheriff Department. I don't recall the name of the company/group that hosted the class, but they used the facilities at the WCSD. You can probably give them a call to find out who, when, where.
  2. What makes Tapatalk so much better than the regular mobile version?
  3. Franklin Gun Shop isn't know for being competitively priced. Franklin is one of the areas where gun shops can get away with that.
  4. Nothing specific right now. I was just wondering in the event I may want something in the future. I know there are companies that focus almost souly on one brand, like Glock or SA XD. I didn't know if there was such a company that's main focus was on the M&P.
  5. There are companies that offer aftermarket parts for Glocks and XD's, does anyone cater to the M&P's?

  7. I've owned a ton of knives, and this has by far been my favorite EDC muti-purpose knife/weapon. From boxes to people, this thing will take care of business. Cold Steel Recon 1
  8. Welcome to TGO! Make yourself at home. Enjoy your stay.
  9. I'd 2nd the K31. That's if you can find one for $300. It wasn't too long ago they were everywhere, but they are becomming more and more scarce and expensive. If you have your C&R FFL, you'll have an easier time finding one in that price range.
  10. I thought about ordering from them a while back, but I started to read a ton of bad press about them while doing a Google search. I didn't have the guts to take a chance.
  11. That's exactly what I thought. Awesome work.
  12. The Zimmerman case is a situation where this would have been a good idea.
  13. I just ordered a S&W M&P 40 Pro Series through one of TGO's Premier Sponsors, D&T Arms in Goodlettsville, TN. I was wondering what those who own/have owned one think about them.
  14. They look like zombies to me.
  15. I was just in D&T Arms, and they are supposed to have one in stock in the near future.
  16. I saw one of these at Academy Sports & Outdoors. They are $70 more expensive than the "Plain Jane" LCP.

  18. Yeah, I'm far from an expert, but it sounded more than a little excessive. No, he's not terminally ill. He did suffer some nerve damage from an accident several years ago, but he's hardly in need of those amounts of drugs. He can walk, drive, go out and play poker on a regular basis. He's been taking four or more of the Oxy's per day for a while now. He told the doctor that they weren't working that well, so the doctor at the pain management clinic cut the Oxy's from 120 down to 90, then gave him the 60 Morphine on top of that to see if they would help.
  19. Awesome! I spent some time in the swamps of Louisiana where fishing with yo-yo's is big. It was nothing to catch catfish upwards of 50-60 pounds on a very regular basis. The biggest problem was getting the fish out of the water before the giant turtles ate them whole. We pulled a 200 pound turtle out of the swamp. We had to tow to the dock with the boat. Once in shallow water, the turtle planted itself on the bottom. We had to pull it out of the water with a Chevy Luv pickup truck.
  20. The bigger the bait, the bigger the fish.
  21. You must have girly hands. I kid, I kid. Where is the slide stopping? All the way open?
  22. This doesn't surprise me. A friend of mine took his roommate to one of the "pain clinics" yesterday morning. He walked out with a prescription for 90 Oxycontin and 60 Morphine. You'd think he was dying or something. I can't help but wonder if those places are little more than legalized drug dealers.
