  1. They can do whatever they want because they know no one will do a damn thing about it, except bitch about it on the internet. And with all things considered, they aren't afraid of losing our votes. Hell, look at what our votes have gotten us as of late.
  2. http://www.ridethatbike.com/CHMR/CHMR.htm
  3. You're not missing anything. Well, except more of what you've seen in this thread.
  4. Anyone heard of this place? One of my customers mentioned that he heard something about a new internet-based gun shop in the La Vergne area. They don't appear to keep much, if anything, in stock.
  5. I called for some info. There's a lot of things they won't take, but you do NOT need to be a resident of Davidson County. They charge $11/square yard.
  6. It's the Canebreaker vortex.
  7. Any idea of what it's called or who runs it? I'd like to find out more information. Do you have to be a resident of Davidson County, the type of stuff they will and won't accept, schedule, etc.
  8. Thank you for the information. Unfortunately, according to the website for those locations, you MUST be a resident of Davidson County to dump trash their. On top of that, it's no wonder so many people simply dump their trash on the side of roadways, in ditches, and anywhere else they can get away with it. The website for those places seem to have so many restrictions on what can be dumped, who can dump it, how many times they can dump it, etc.
  9. I took a load of trash there yesterday. I started a pick up & delivery side business, and part of what I do is haul trash to the dump for people. I was hoping to find dumping locations in other areas so I didn't have to haul everything to Gallatin, but because I live in Sumner County, I think that SRA is my only option.
  10. My Dad bought a pair of their Lineman boots for motorcycle riding. He said the break-in was a bit brutal, but now he wears them all day, every day. He ended up taking them to a shoe repair store and had them install a heavy-duty zipper so he didn't have to mess with the laces every day. He says that he'll re-tighten the laces about one a week now.
  11. I'm no expert, but I'm thinking you'll lose picture quality if you blow it up. Then again, Photoshop can work wonders.
  12. A few sips of Black Sambuca is what I was in the mood for tonight.
  13. Did you mean Golf Club and Tiny Town?
  14. A picture of the entire rifle would be more helpful.
  15. Steyr model 95? Pictures?
  16. I'm trying to compile a list of places where I can LEGALLY dump trash (anything from typical household garbage to old furniture and such) in and around Nashville. I know some of these places require you to live in the city/county where the dump is located. I live in Hendersonville / Sumner County, so those that require I live in their city/county probably won't work. If you happen to know if they are free or pay-by-weight that would be great. Thank you in advance.
  17. This is long overdue, but better late than never. http://www.wsmv.com/story/17859688/rivergate-mall-to-implement-weekend-youth-curfew
  18. Hell to the yizeah!
  19. I'm needing some business cards printed, and thought I'd check here first. I'd prefer someone fairly close to the Henersonville or Nashville areas.
  20. You cannot become a good gunsmith taking online courses. You will miss out on all of the hands-on aspects of learning the trade. I suspect you'll have to relocate for an accredited school. There are a few out there, but I always here talk about the one n Colorado. I don't know the name or exact location, but I'm sure it won't be hard to find. One thing to think about is the usually huge difference between in-state tuition and out-of-state tuition. I spoke with someone not long ago who decided to move to Colorado long before (not sure exactly how long before) the course started so he could qualify for the hugely discounted in-state tuition prices. He said this was a good idea, because he had to spend thousands of dollars on tools and supplies to take the gunsmith course.
  21. I'm being torn between my friends here in Nashville and all my family and friends from Chicago. And I'm not even a fan of hockey.
  22. Or you could simply read the topic title and decide if you want to read any further. The topic title obviously suggests this was going to be about a cop shooting a dog. Without reading the first post I was pretty certain this was going to be about a cop who many thought was unjustified in shooting someone's pet.
  23. It's only cop bashing until it happens to someone in your family. And to many of us, our dogs are our family. Unless you're a heartless prick, you'd be crying like a bitch if a cop were to shoot one of your family members for some BS reason.
