  1. Awesome! Happy Birthday!
  2. Check out Uship.com. We've used it several times with great success.
  3. You'll hear all kinds of opinions, but my vote would go to the Smith & Wesson M&P .40 S&W.
  4. She's precious.
  5. Wheel guns would instantly become the tool of choice amongst criminals.
  6. If company #2 offers you the position, take it. If, after you take the position, company #1 offers you the position and you still feel it's a better fit, quit company #2 and take the job at company #1. Remember, it's business; they wouldn't think twice about kicking you to the curb if they wanted/needed to.
  7. I only deliver the stuff, but something about that labor estimate seems high. There must be a ton of prep work or something.
  8. Yeah, he did appear truly thankful and appreciative for every customer that came in. He welcomed everyone with a great attitude and firm handshake. Maybe it's only because he's new, but he went out of his way to make you feel welcome.
  9. Had a delivery next door, so I stopped in for a few minutes. He's one of the nicest guys I've met. The selection isn't as bad as I was expecting. For a guy that's just opened the doors, he's off to a decent start. He says he'll beat any local competitors prices. Because of the other prices in the Boro and his low overhead, I don't think that will be too difficult. If he doesn't have it in stock, he should be able to get it within a day or two. He said he's already seen a few TGO members come in, so I wouldn't be surprised to see him become a Premier Sponsor in the near future.
  10. RIP, Mr. Craighead.
  11. Isn't that the truth. I talked to him on the phone a few years ago, and he claimed to have owned a gun shop ( maybe Aaron Tippon's), or supplied a gun store with guns. I guess he's trying to sell them for the same price they would have been listed for at the store.
  12. They're not looking quite so good today. Japan's pitcher is not making it easy on them.
  13. When choosing a president, which THREE issues are most important to you?
  14. I never understood all the whining about internet competition. Some of the biggest internet competition comes from companies like Bud's Gun Shop, Kentucky Gun Company, etc. Last I checked, many of them were brick and motor gun shops before they started selling via the internet. Who's fault is it that other shops weren't/aren't smart enough to follow the curve? In today technological environment, if you're concerned about making money and at least attempting to keep up with competition, you better be utilizing the internet.
  15. And the best one...There's no money to be made in the gun shop business.
  16. So, working at a gun store is like logging onto TGO?
  17. I think it's just an extra precaution, if anything. It can't hurt.
  18. That is sometimes used by those who always have guns for sale, just in case "big brother" is watching. That way no one thinks they are operating for-profit operation. There is a guy in Smithville who sells guns on ###.com, and he uses that phrase in every single ad since being visited by the authorities because he always has several guns for sale.
  19. I enjoy your threads. I don't necessarily agree with everything you post, but I enjoy reading the reactions. Keep up the fight, my friend.
  20. I was reading a news article from the Knoxville area that talked about outlaw motorcycle clubs making their members obtain handgun carry permits so they can legally carry.
  21. Fixed That For You
  22. Based on what I've read, not all were hit by shrapnel. Some were actually shot.
