1. In my opinion, the best line of the night came from Biden: "I refuse to impose my church's position on others."
2. The Micro, like all pocket guns, was not intended to be used as a range gun. The Micro is made for up close and personal situations, and if you ever find yourself in one of those situations, the trigger guard bumping into your finger is the last thing you'll notice.
3. They got what they deserved. Kudos to the guy who smoked 'em.
4. Why not just do what those sick f***s in the Kennedy family did to Rosemary Kennedy; give them a lobotomy. That'll cure 'em.
5. That's the one I just purchased. My daughter was playing her Wii and PS3 last night, and there was a noticeable improvement in performance. I think I'll stick with this one for a while.
6. I ended up getting a Linksys EA4500 from Wal-Mart for $130. It's definitely better, but still not what I was hoping for. They had one other model "better" than this one for $160, but I'm not sure if it's worth the extra money. With everything installed in the spare bedroom, there are 3 bars (full strength) on my phone. A roughly 20 step walk into the kitchen drops the signal down to 2 bars. Another roughly 20 step walk into the upstairs bonus room gives 1 bar. I decided to move the modem and router to the center of the house which is the living room. This still left 1 bar up in the bonus room. I check to see which channels my neighbors were running on, and I was the only one on channel 7. Other than that, I don't know what else I can do to improve my signal. I'll have to play with the Wii and PS3 to see if there is any noticeable improvements compared to the previous router.
7. I need advice on a wireless router for or new home. I had a Linksys installed at my 1100 square foot apartment, and both the signal strength and speed were not sufficient, even for such a small area. Our new place is almost 2000 square feet, and I'll need the new router to send a strong enough signal to the upstairs bonus room where the PS3 and Wii will be used. I was thinking that I may need to buy one of those wifi signal booster to plug in somewhere between the two points, but if I can get away with a sufficient router, I'd rather go that it. Other than the PS3 and Wii, the router will also be used for our phones, tablets and printer. What say you experts?
8. Mommy and Daddy must have enough money to throw at a sorry attempt to cover up what a retard their son is. Someone will come forward shortly with a video or photos taken via a cell phone which will prove this idiot to be the liar.
9. I have the Samsung Galaxy S2, and plan on upgrading to the S3 in the near future. I don't have any complaints.
10. One more question. There is a yellow gas line that is exposed and to the back of the fire box. Is it normal for this line to be exposed?
11. I used the air in a can method, as suggested. It worked one time. Using a match wouldn't work last night, but today it worked multiple times. I let the pilot flame burn for about 5 minutes, before cracking it to high. I let it burn on high for 3-4 minutes, then tried lighting the pilot using the ignitor button. Again, spark, but no pilot flame.
12. I found this link where he's claiming to have been in business since January 2009. How many people has he ripped off during that time? http://www.linkedin.com/pub/john-sneed/33/270/560?_mSplash=1
13. According to this link, he's been in business for almost 3 years. Has he never been certified, or did he recently begin having troubles? http://www.linkedin.com/pub/john-sneed/33/270/560?_mSplash=1
14. Condolences to you and yours from me and mine. If there's anything we can do to help you through these trying times, please don't hesitate to ask.
15. I will try that. Thank you.
16. What exactly would you like a picture of? Per the direction in the owners manual, I turn the knob from the off position to the pilot position. I then press and hold the knob (this is when I hear and smell gas) in for 5 or 10 seconds, then press the ignition button, while still pressing and holding the knob. I think it said to continue holding in on the knob for a short time after the pilot lights. If the pilot lights as it should, I should be able to release the knob and turn it to adjust the flame.
17. We just purchased our first home, and it's equipped with a gas fireplace. We don't need to use it right now, but because we've never had one before, I figured that I'd better check it out. Something isn't working properly. The house is 8-years-old, and I don't imagine the 82-year-old previous owner used it very often, if ever. I turned the gas on, turned the knob to the pilot position, held in for several seconds, pushed the ignition button....no pilot flame. I removed the logs and repeated the process. I can see the spark when pressing the ignition, but still no pilot flame. I then repeated the process while using a match to light the pilot, but still no pilot flame. It appeared he gas was igniting as it was coming out of the tube, but as soon as the match went out, so did the pilot flame. I can hear and smell gas, but other than that, I'm lost. Any suggestions?
18. I'm so looking forward to the episodes where someone kills the jail guard and Pope.
19. The interviewers, Richard and Sal, walk around and ask questions to people on the streets. Due to the nature of Stern's show, they are obviously looking for those with the most shocking and comedic value. I listen to his show daily, and most of those being interviewed generally appear to be slightly out of it.
20. It would be better if the holster/gun were on the outside of the thigh.
21. A simple Google search will turn up a zillion different versions of the American flag.
22. Those were the Nomads that they allowed into the club during the episode last week. The papers appeared to be birth certificates.
23. Number obviously aren't Rick's strong suit.
24. The bankruptcy papers were filed earlier this year, long before you sister's passing. I heard, from several sources, that Rick owned some type of store in or around Goodlettsville (before the one on Myatt Drive) that he closed suddenly, leaving customers/members screwed out of money. Your father has also made some comments that were not very popular amongst those of us gun owners who take the 2nd Amendment seriously. He then went on a local radio and did a bad job at clarifying himself. I don't think that interview did much in the way of helping his reputation. I'm sure I can speak for everyone on this forum when I say that we are very sorry for the sudden loss of your sister. As a father, I don't want to imagine the pain and suffering one experiences with such a loss. For whatever reasons, your father has earned a negative reputation himself; one that very few gun store owners in the area have been able to do. Personally, it took me about 5 minutes after walking into his Myatt Drive location to realize he was not the type of person I wanted to do business with. This was long before I officially became a "gun guy" or a member of any firearms related internet forums. After joining multiple forums, it didn't take me long to realize I was not alone.
