Most all blow money on stuff that has zero chance of magically turning into one-dollar, much less a million dollars. As long as you can afford it, I don't have any problem playing the lottery.

As a local truck driver, I've had to deal with traffic all day, everyday for many years. I'm not going to say that I don't get irritated from time to time, but I've learned to deal with it much better. I find that if I take my time, my stress level stays way down. But if I find myself getting in a hurry, that's when I tend to become more agitated. With that being said, I'm always annoyed when I'm merging onto 24 east from 40 east in the morning, and the idiots fly up the left lane, only to slam on their brakes in front of you so they jump into the right lane for 440. I can never get used to that one.

Turkey Fryers ... Outdoor Oil/Propane vs Inside Electric
TripleDigitRide replied to xRUSTYx's topic in General Chat
Interesting!!! May have to try this next! I've never been a good cook, but cooking meat, I'm pretty good at! I also seem to enjoy it for some reason! LOL ... Something about patience + a couple beers while cooking it makes me happy Thanks TDR! 1 jar was too much for mine it seemed. It was literally pouring out! Not sure how you get 2 jars full in! I'm gonna try half next time!
Pouring out of where? -
Wi-Fi hotspot is when you use your phone's data connection and supply Wi-Fi to something like your laptop. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Xparent Red Tapatalk 2
Is it safe to assume yo must be in an area where your phone has decent connection for this to work?

I really like the idea of being able to over-clock, and, if I understand correctly, turning my phone into a wifi hotspot. Does that mean I can use wifi on my phone from anywhere?
Well TripleDigitRide, I found lots of info, and it looks like you could be successful at rooting and ROMing, but I didn't find it laid out quite as well as the Skyrocket. The problem is that you are running an S2 variant that is slightly different that the standard S2 that was released. Your model number is SPH-D710 and the standard is i9100. It looks like the process is the same as mine, but you'd need to figure out what ROM and radio files are compatible with your phone. If it was mine, I'd jump right in, but not being mine, I'll recommend caution. **My suggestion is to become a member of XDA-developers.com and spend a couple of days reading through some posts gathering information. Then I would post up a noob question about ROMing your specific model and I'm sure you will get the answers. I was pretty apprehensive about it until I actually did it, then it was a piece of cake. The longest part was backing up, and Titanium Backup made that simple. If you decide to jump off into it, I'd be happy to help as much as I can, just let me know!
I spent a couple of hours last night watching many of the video in the link you posted. Being a little nervous, I would feel more comfortable if I could find something with a list of procedures, start to finish. I wasn't able to figure out what the first step is that I need to take. You mentioned backing up using Titanium. Is that the first thing I need to do in the entire process? Is Titanium an app or some kind of program?
Let me do some reading to get a better understanding of your phone. Mine was laid out a little more clearly. Here is the link to my phone's page. The first two stickies gave me all of the information I needed. http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=1383 I'll post my findings probably tomorrow afternoon.
That would be awesome. I noticed all his videos are using a phone different than mine. Does that matter?
Actually, more specifically, try this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1009997
For someone who's never done anything like this, all those links are a little confusing. Where does one start?

Anyone who has experience with a Sprint Galaxy S2 have something they'd like to recommend? Maybe something with step-by-step directions that even I can understand? How long does it take?
From what I have heard to teen will be fine. I am a member at the range in Gallatin, we are all ROSs, first member on site is the RSO. Good bunch from what I have seen so far, ya get some DAs in every crowd.
I've been a member there for 3 or 4 years, and I've never seen anything crazy. Although, I did get an email about a member who recently brought a guest who got busted for bump-firing. He will be very lucky if they don't revoke his membership.

Can you go back to factory, if needed?

I have a Galaxy SII. What are the benefits?

I've done a very small amount of reading about rooting and ROM's, but it's a little confusing, and I'm afraid I'll screw up my phone.

GOP leaders seek to avoid repeat of Gun law Fight
TripleDigitRide replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
So, from what I read in that article, our elected officials don't think I am being "reasonable" because I strongly believe that I have a right to keep an item secured in my vehicle regardless of where it is parked. When the debate starts off like that, you know it's not going to bode well for gun owners.
Our elected officials don't know what to think. In one hand they have the pro-2A crowd, in the other hand they have the filthy rich business owners. They're running around like chickens with their heads out off, trying to figure out which group can benefit them the most.
