  1. Happy New Year!
  2. It's kind of a gun-fu movie, but I always thought Equilibrium was a pretty good gun movie.
  3. I was able to sweet talk my regular mechanic (Gallatin Automotive) into coming by to get the job done. I will sleep a little better tonight.
  4. I appreciate the offer. I will keep that in mind. One thing is for certain, I don't think I'll be attempting this feat again. Not on a vehicle I need ASAP, anyhow.
  5. Are these fittings something I should replace while I have it apart? Can you get them at a local parts store, or is this a dealer item? If I need to cur the lines, is it safe to assume they need to be cut from the inside?
  6. No longer looking! Any out of work mechanics, or one that has some free time on Tuesday? I need some assistance with a heater core in a 2002 F-150. The truck is in my garage, and I've had enough tools to get the job done so far. I am going to invest in a 1/4" drive socket set tomorrow, however. I did read something about a special tool to remove the lines from the heater core, and that I do not have. I downloaded some step-by-step (for the most part) instructions and managed to get the dash removed far enough to access the heater core. The directions I downloaded were done so that the dash didn't need to be removed completely. It's too late, so I stopped just short of opening the heater core box, or whatever it's called. I have a ride to work tomorrow, but I desperately need to finish this Tuesday so I can drive to work Wednesday. I need someone with experience that can help me (or I help you) ensure this gets done Tuesday. I have no intentions of just standing around and watch you work. I will do whatever I can to be as helpful as possible. While removing the nuts, bolts, screws, etc., I made sure to separate them into ziplock bags and numbered them according to the step I was working on when removing them. This should make assembly a little easier, rather than digging through a box of parts. I am in Springfield, and am able to start as early as you'd like on Tuesday. I'll be home from work about 5:45 pm tomorrow, and I'd be willing to work on it then too. Whenever you can do it is fine, just as long as I can drive it to work Wednesday morning. Shoot me a PM with what you'd charge for the job. Thank you in advance.
  7. Does this mean I'm going to be forced to give up Pizza Hut, Tacos Bell and KFC? Dernit!
  8. They are coming out of the woodwork lately.
  9. Of all the possible retailers out there, why would Troy enter into an exclusive contract with Dicks?
  10. Thanks for the info guys. I think I'm as certain as I'll ever be about the mags. Thanks for the help.
  11. The 3 witness holes are zig-zag, and the mag release notch is on the right and slightly above the top witness hole.
  12. Growing up, we bowled a lot. We did a ton of charity bowling, mainly Bowl For Kid's Sake. I was a fair bowler, but haven't been in years. Awesome looking ball.
  13.   Which magazine are you asking about?
  14. I have 3 random magazines that I found while going through some of my "stuff", but I'm not exactly sure of the details. I plan on selling them, so I'd like to make sure I have the correct info. I'm nearly positive #1 is a 15 round Beretta 92 magazine, and I'm equally positive #2 and #3 are 13 round Browning Hi Power magazines. #1 has no company name or logo, only PB CAL 9 PARA MADE IN U.S.A. #2 and #3 have no company name or logo, only ITALY CAL 9MM NATO/LUGER I assume all are factory magazines, but I wanted to see if i could get some other opinions first. All appear to be slightly used, but in good shape. I hate to ask this, but does anyone have any idea what a fair price for these would be. Thank you in advance for any helpful information.
  15. I must be stuck in a time warp, because you posted that on 1/09/1970.
  16. They're too busy raking in the cash right now to worry about your silly petition.
  17. I was thinking along the same lines. If you figure the total number of people who travel through and within (Tennessee residents + people traveling to or through Tennessee) the state, the percentage appears very low.

  19. The money given to Ford was NOT part of the bailout. Obama forced new fuel-efficiency regulations on auto manufacturers, and because the demand is not there for such vehicles, Ford was left with little choice but to take the money. If the demand for such vehicles would turn a profit, I'm sure Ford would have gladly invested its own money in such a venture. With Obama unjustifiably pushing Green Energy policies, most companies either take the money or go out of business. And the money Ford was forced to take was a drop in the bucket when compared to the BAILOUT given to GM and Chrysler.
  20. The term Real Twist indicates that the barrels are likely Damascus (twist-steel) and as someone else mentioned, are not safe to shoot. There's little doubt that the shotty was made in Belgium and sold in England. Unfortunately, there were several manufacturers in that area, and unless you can do some real digging on the proof marks, you'll likely never know its true origins.
  21. Congratulations to the winners. Thanks for hissing this. Merry Christmas to all.
  22. Merry Christmas!
  23. Merry Christmas to my TGO friends!
  24. Banning all guns is obviously the only answer to the madness. :p
