  1. I have one about the same size, and it fit nicely into the back corner of a closet.
  2. Razz, Not sure it's an option, but I have a corner in my garage. You're more than welcome to use it.
  3. It would have been done yesterday, but I wasn't willing to take a chance with the aftermarket heater core from O'reilly's. Not only was it much thinner thanthe factory core, but the aluminum lines didn't quite it in the notch on the heater box. They would have had to be bent, and they already looked cheaply attached to the actual heater core body. I ended up ordering one from the dealer, along with an A/C evaparator. Just my luck, the evaperator would leak when I tried to used it in the spring. And there's no way I want to go through this again if I can help it. I have a borrowed vehicle, so I can meet you tomorrow after work. Maybe 5:00 or 6:00.
  4. The zombies have been chewing through the internet.
  5. Villa Alena Moscato I love this stuff. My family gets it from Trader Joe's and brings it to me during the holidays. It will be nice when we can buy it in grocery stores around Tennessee.
  6. Welcome. Make yourself at home.
  7. Me too! ;)
  8. You can also buy, sell, trade, giveaway between two Tennessee residents without going through a background check. If you buy from a licensed dealer, the background check is mandatory.
  9. In Tennessee, you are required to take an 8-hour class to obtain your Handgun Carry Permit (HCP). These are offered at numberous locations for between $50-$80. You then take the certificate from said class to the Department of Safety, pay $115 and fill out necessary paperwork . You then get fingerprinted (some HCP class locations offer this service) and wait for your HCP to arrive in the mail. Usually a month or two. Once you receive your HCP, you can carry concealed or openly. It's a fairly simple process.   It's been several years since I went through the process, but that's about how I remember it. If I am off at all, someone will chime in shortly.
  10. From time to time. Being born and raised in Chicago, it seems to come with the territory.
  11. Happy New Year!
  12. It's kind of a gun-fu movie, but I always thought Equilibrium was a pretty good gun movie.
  13. I was able to sweet talk my regular mechanic (Gallatin Automotive) into coming by to get the job done. I will sleep a little better tonight.
  14. I appreciate the offer. I will keep that in mind. One thing is for certain, I don't think I'll be attempting this feat again. Not on a vehicle I need ASAP, anyhow.
  15. Are these fittings something I should replace while I have it apart? Can you get them at a local parts store, or is this a dealer item? If I need to cur the lines, is it safe to assume they need to be cut from the inside?
  16. No longer looking! Any out of work mechanics, or one that has some free time on Tuesday? I need some assistance with a heater core in a 2002 F-150. The truck is in my garage, and I've had enough tools to get the job done so far. I am going to invest in a 1/4" drive socket set tomorrow, however. I did read something about a special tool to remove the lines from the heater core, and that I do not have. I downloaded some step-by-step (for the most part) instructions and managed to get the dash removed far enough to access the heater core. The directions I downloaded were done so that the dash didn't need to be removed completely. It's too late, so I stopped just short of opening the heater core box, or whatever it's called. I have a ride to work tomorrow, but I desperately need to finish this Tuesday so I can drive to work Wednesday. I need someone with experience that can help me (or I help you) ensure this gets done Tuesday. I have no intentions of just standing around and watch you work. I will do whatever I can to be as helpful as possible. While removing the nuts, bolts, screws, etc., I made sure to separate them into ziplock bags and numbered them according to the step I was working on when removing them. This should make assembly a little easier, rather than digging through a box of parts. I am in Springfield, and am able to start as early as you'd like on Tuesday. I'll be home from work about 5:45 pm tomorrow, and I'd be willing to work on it then too. Whenever you can do it is fine, just as long as I can drive it to work Wednesday morning. Shoot me a PM with what you'd charge for the job. Thank you in advance.
  17. Does this mean I'm going to be forced to give up Pizza Hut, Tacos Bell and KFC? Dernit!
  18. They are coming out of the woodwork lately.
  19. Of all the possible retailers out there, why would Troy enter into an exclusive contract with Dicks?
  20. Thanks for the info guys. I think I'm as certain as I'll ever be about the mags. Thanks for the help.
  21. The 3 witness holes are zig-zag, and the mag release notch is on the right and slightly above the top witness hole.
  22. Growing up, we bowled a lot. We did a ton of charity bowling, mainly Bowl For Kid's Sake. I was a fair bowler, but haven't been in years. Awesome looking ball.
  23.   Which magazine are you asking about?
