  1. Heading north towards Springfield, he is on the right.
  2. Bummer. I don't get out that way much anymore, but I purchased my first few firearms thought him.

  4. http://www.newschannel5.com/story/20559259/local-ceo-threatens-to-start-killing-people-over-gun-control
  5. I thought he lived in the Camden area.
  6. This is NOT true. Very poor journalism.
  7. I don't know, but I sold 10 of them for $15/each earlier today. I think they sold in about 5 minutes.
  8. I bet you're right.
  9. My grandfather always told me It was generally the quiet ones you needed to keep an eye on.
  10. One of my customers has come out way ahead by playing this game. He already had 2 Colt ARs that he purchased from Wal-Mart long before the madness. He sold both on Gun Broker for double what he paid. He then used his inside sources at a couple Wal-Mart stores to buy 4 more in the last few weeks.
  11. I wouldn't worry about the color. You can change that.
  12. Some situations require you to become a little loud and in-your-face. If this isn't one of those situations, I don't know what is. Oh, if the video hasn't already been posted in this thread (didn't read the whole thing), it's worth watching.
  13. I can't watch the video from my phone, but funny you mention that. I told a friend of mine that he should get a membership to that range due to its close proximity to his home. He called me to say that he wouldn't be joining because he witnessed people walking down rage while others continued to blast away.
  14. The article appears to be fair and balanced to me. I think it was obvious Brian tried to remain as neutral as possible. When describing the shooting in Aurora, saying the shooter "sprayed" the theater was a little much. Simple words like that lend to the common misconception that AR-15s are fully-automatic. But maybe I was trying too hard to find something wrong with the article.
  15. You're right, it's no different.
  16. I thought we had a thread dedicated to our pets, but my search-fu came up with nothing of the sort. If I've overlooked it, please feel free to delete this thread. Our 3-year-old basset hound, Grizwald. For some reason his front-right paw looks extra long. Guess it was the angle. Our 1-year-old yorkie/maltese, Khloe. Don't let the sweet, innocent look fool you, she is the guard dog.
  17. Because you can (or could) buy a bunch for a relatively small amount of money?
  18. Wow! I'm not sure I could have walked away like he did. He seems content with his decision at the moment, but I wonder if he will feel the same way if he finds out this bad guy kills someone next week.
  19. Some people have them, some people don't. And I suppose there are varying degrees. There are much better men than myself. Like most here, I am merely sharing my opinion. What he did/is doing is not something I would do or could do. Personally, I do see it as a morality/ethics issue, but that's just my opinion. Some will agree, some won't. If he had these PMAGs sitting in his closet and decided to take advantage of the frenzy and make a few bucks, so be it. Even if he was going to keep them for personal use. But that's not at all what happened. He saw an opportunity to take advantage of his position at his place of employment for a profit (Gander Mountain?), and he did. Take issue with my opinion, if you will, but I stand by it.
  20. I didn't realize a need was always necessarily a matter of life and death. I've help some people in need, and some have helped me when in need. Not too many of those occasions involved life and death.
  21. Such a simplistic attitude and response isn't in the least bit shocking. What goes around, comes around. I am a firm believer in Karma. If you can live with it, so be it.
  22. Why are you now trying to hide what you've originally posted. Other members have already quoted your post, so it's there forever.
  23. I'm trying very had to give you the benefit of the doubt, as I don't know you on a personal level. But your piss-poor "I don't give a damn about anyone other than myself" attitude is making that very difficult. I am accepting of the fact that there's an opportunity for you to make a profit during crazy times. I am also accepting of the fact that your place of employment offers certain perks (almost everyone has some sort of perk through their employer) that non-employees don't receive, even if it means you get your hands on items that are in short supply. However, I feel there's been a glitch in your moral compass if you don't see a problem with hoarding such items for the sole purpose of taking advantage of your fellow man. Heck, there must have been a close friend, family member, or even a fellow TGO member that was really needing those items for personal use, not for profit. Sometimes helping out a fellow man can make you feel better than you would by putting a few extra bucks in your pocket. There's something to be said for a man who's willing to forego a few extra bucks while helping his brother in need. There's also something to be said for those who do just the opposite. You have to live with your ways, and it doesn't appear you're losing any sleep over it. I only hope you used that money for a good cause, like furthering your education, so you can hopefully one day make enough money that you won't feel the need to take advantage of your fellow man.
  24. This isn't the first time something like this has happened, so don't exhale too loudly.
