  1. Are you allowed to shoot clays at Charlie's place?
  2. That's gorgeous, but like you, it's far too rich for my blood, especially for something I'd be afraid to shoot.
  3. I think he was jokingly referring to our solar system, as in our planetary system.
  4. The UPS guy is backed up to the door now. Better hurry and the the overpriced items while you can.
  5. That's basically how things were before my daughter. It is slightly more troublesome to carry a gun around the house, but after years it's become second nature.
  6. Yeah, I feel like I do everything I can. I'm wondering how common it is for gun owners to leave firearms easily accessible to children and anyone else who enters the residence.
  7. In many of these recent news stories involving children who decide to go on a shooting rampage, it appears as if some gun owners find it acceptable to leave their firearms unsecured in the home, even with children present. How about you? While at home, I almost always have a firearm within arms reach. The rest of my firearms are secured in a locked safe. I have a teenage daughter who's been raised around firearms and taught how to safely operate many of them. I would like to think she would never feel the need to go on a shooting rampage, or accidentally shoot herself or someone else. As a responsible gun owner, I feel it's my duty to do everything I can to ensure that never happens.
  8. Glad you made it out. I just read about a couple of boaters being rescued from atop a local dam.
  9. I joined about 5 years ago, and I can't for the life of me remember how I found it. I'm going to assume it was via an internet search.
  10. I've never been in the one I mentioned. I just know it's there and didn't already see it mentioned. :pleased:
  11. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/59066-abq-shooting-with-a-you-guessed-it/
  12. I read the article, but it didn't mention which of the "several guns" were used.
  13. You have an order. Thanks.
  14. I am so sorry for your loss. Condolences to you and yours from me and mine.    RIP, Chewy.
  15.   I'm guessing there are several small dealers who are hurting for that very reason. In times like these, I'd suspect the larger dealers with more buying power are being offered the "hot items" before they have a chance to trickle down to the smaller dealers.
  16. Nice choice. I love my M&P 40 Pro Series.
  17.   I think Bud's has a retail location and a distribution location. Not sure if that's what they meant when they said something about some guns coming from somewhere else.
  18. Notice how every other media outlet is reporting 1000 attendees, yet The Tennesseean is reporting only 500.
  19. People are obviously paying the prices. I stopped in there last Monday while running my route in that area, and they didn't have anything I needed/wanted. There was some guy picking through all the magazines on the wall, buying everything over 10-rounds.
  20. Interesting. I didn't know that was an option.
  21. His so-called security team should be replaced with people who actually like him.
  22. Academy Of Self Protection in Joelton. About 1 block off I-24 at exit 35.
  23. Yeah, the not so gun friendly on my Facebook page have been having a field day with this.
  24. Good luck. There was no issue finding such banks in Chicago, but I haven't found any around here. I'm sure you already know about the fee-based machines in some grocery and retail stores.
